She's with me by Jessica C is honestly melodramatic as hell. Don't get me wrong it was a pretty enjoyable book and I definitely want to read the sequel but the amount of drama in the book was the nuts. And sometimes I felt like the Mean Girl /mean boy caricatures we're over the top. With all that being said though my favorite part and the most enjoyable aspect of this book was the relationships between the friend group. there is definitely a message of found family and blood not being everything and I really appreciated that aspect of the book

I devoured this book in less then 3 hours. At first I wasn't sure if I would like another high school cliche story. This definitely packed a punch!

I received an Advance Reader Copy from the publisher, via NetGalley. This in no way impacted on my view.

I will admit that this book was a cover lust request, and I had absolutely no idea of what I would be getting as I started it, but I was blown over with it. In She's With Me, we follow new girl Amelia, as she is trying to fit in at a new school, get through senior year unscathed, after running from her past. She wants to fly under the radar, but when she crashes into the hottie of the school, Aiden, everyone knows who she is, and she is soon rocketed to the top of the school's social hierarchy. She's loving the way she has fit in at school, but there's always the secret she has to keep hidden, and the more she is with Aiden, the more she wants to open up to him, but it's not safe, for either of them. Will she manage to survive the year, or will her past catch up to her.

Like I said, when I started the book, I was not expecting the way it went. I kind of thought it would be the usual, run of the mill, contemporary book, that would be fun at the time, but wouldn't really stay with me. Well, was I in for a shock? Amelia isn't even her real name, and she's running from a killer, hell bent on making her suffer for something that was wholly out of her control. This isn't the first time she's had to change schools, change identities, everything, but it is the first time that she's really felt comfortable being the new her, and wishes she could be honest with everyone. Her and Aiden were cute together, and had such banter and chemistry that I wasn't surprised they struggled to stay away from each other. Yeah, okay, there are some eye rolling moments in the book, but all in all, it was dead enjoyable, and I can't believe that's how it ended! I hope to read book 2 very, very soon!

Amelia Collins has been relocated again and again and it was time for her to start over at a new high school. When she first arrives she clashes immediately with the school's hotshot Aiden. Aiden's friends win her over and they all start hanging out as a group. Of course, high school drama ensues with pranks and tricks with the school mean girl, Kaitlyn. There is also relationship drama and the budding spark that eventually emerges from Amelia and Aiden. The underlying issue in this book is the impending sense of danger Amelia feels since she is in the witness protection program having dealt with some attempts on her life.

Overall, despite all the drama, I really enjoyed the plot of this story. I think the characters have some complexities to them, not even just the main characters but some of the secondary characters as well which I throughly enjoyed. I can really feel the spark between Aiden and Amelia. The sense of doom this book holds is also really written well. However, there was a lot of petty drama going on with the mean girl Kaitlyn and Aiden's rival, Ryan, that I really did not care for all that much. It takes away from the romance, friendship, and witness protection plot. I wasn't however expecting this book to end with, "To Be Continued," and you got me. I was expecting the book to continue and hadn't even realized that I had made it to the end. I'm hooked now though and I'm ready to see what is next for Amelia, Aiden, and their friends.

She’s With Me is a young adult contemporary romance by Jessica Cunsolo. She’s With Me has a lot of themes rolled into one book, and I am excited this is going to be a series. This is the first book in the series. There is obviously the romance element, which presents itself in the form of a bully romance, which is something I used to absolutely hate, but have grown to enjoy if it is well done. Character growth is absolutely vital for me. I don’t just want the bully to fall in love with the girl and stop bullying her, I want to dig a little deeper than that. I want to learn what makes the character tick, so I can believe the character growth when we see it. She’s With Me is much more than a Bully romance though, there is also a secret woven in throughout the plot that gave the book another layer that made it very interesting.

In She’s With Me, we meet our main character Amelia. Amelia is new to town. We find out she is a part of the witness protection, though as part of the mystery of the story, the reason why is not revealed until almost the end of the book. I really liked the mysterious air that this brought to the story, and it also made the plot really interesting. It overlaid a sense of doom and gloom and something very heavy over parts of the story. But then, there were moments of total levity and fun that interspersed to make sure the book didn’t feel too down and heavy.

Amelia almost immediately draws the attention of the town bad boy, Aiden, and his friend Mason. I liked all of the antics in She’s With Me. Amelia does not back down in the face of bullies and the character development was great. Amelia has a strong group of friends that she formed almost an immediate connection with. I always appreciate strong friendships in novels, but it was kind of hard to believe that Amelia could show up new in town and become instant best friends, but I really did appreciate her friendships. As is the case with good bully romances, there is more than meets the eye with Aiden. I really enjoyed peeling back his many layers, and Jessica Cunsolo does a fantastic job with her character development.

She’s With Me is a great novel. It is sweet, funny, serious at the right times and I am interested in continuing on with the series. I won’t spoil much in terms of the actual plot, but it going to be perfect for fans of contemporary romances.

3.5/5 stars

This one wasn’t for me. I had a hard time with the main male character - I tend to like the nicer, kinder male leads. I wanted to give this one a chance since it was rated so highly. I think this comes down to personal preference here and most who enjoy the romance genre with angst are going to love it.

As a fan of young adult romances, I was excited to get a chance to read Jessica Cunsolo's She's With Me. And I wasn't disappointed.

More than just a high school romance, Amelia and Aidan's story is complex. Amelia is trying to stay low-key, on the run from danger, but her first day at her new school instantly draws attention to her.

Amelia is a great character, both strong and yet weak. She's loveable from the start as she stands up to the bully Aidan. Not just another bully to lovers romance, this one has more going on for it. Secrets are unveiled, friendships evolve, and romance ensues. But there's always more than just the romance going on. The themes of violence and danger are more than a typcial high school read. The situations are serious and the threats are real.

If you enjoy young adult stories, you will enjoy She's With Me. Jessica Cunsolo's writing style is great, both fun and with a great flow. The characters fully come to life, with a great illustration of high school, and with a gripping element of suspense to the story. For me, this was just what I needed to entertain me at the time.

This book i read first time two years ago on wattpad. I loved it so much. It is the first book in With Me series by wattpad author Jessica Cunsolo. There are total three books in the series named She's With Me, Stay With Me and Still With Me. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one again and you can never get bored of this book. It is fast paced, interesting, unpredictable and intriguing.
The chemistry between Aiden and Amelia is wonderful and all the characters are believable, relatable and very strong. Aiden and Amelia are having a past and find comfort in one another. The only thing i did not like is the cliff hanger. The author has left the book and readers will have to wait till September to read the next part in the series. I will definitely recommend this book. You will not regret it and surely will thank me.

** I was given a free e-book in exchange for an honest review from Netaglley. **

This is a YA novel with shades of mystery and definite danger. Also, we cannot forget about the classic bad boy. Well if you like a bit of YA high school drama this is the book for you. The story is mainly about Amelia and her life in a new school with a hint of her past. On the first day she runs into the school’s "skyscraper" group of boys and instantly sets some triggers for a few of the student. She makes an enemy with the most popular girl, who is in a fake relationship with the "skyscraper" leader. The story becomes focused on how Amelia and her new friends are going to get even with Kaitlyn. We get piece of Amelia past that includes her running from something, which you will found out throughout the story. It's a very fast read but I was not expecting the cliff hanger at the end so I will be looking forward to the next book.

I have to say that I undestand all the good comments I read about this book, but I just cannot say I liked it. I found most of the situation highly unbelievable and I tought the characters were very very immature. I could not relate or feel any real emotions reading this, I even found myself skipping a few pages, and i don't feel I missed anything.

This book just wasn't for me at this point in time.

I felt like we were just getting nowhere storyline wise. No communication was happening for the most part between people. It was two steps forward and three steps back it seemed. I read until 58% and at that point, I was just frustrated with all the characters.

Aiden and Amelia had this weird trust/not trust thing going on and I was just not into that after a while when nothing was changing and no information was ever found out for the distrust on Aiden's part.

I do think a lot of people will like this book. It just wasn't for me.

The story was fun, real, and full of life.

I cannot wait to read more from this author!

An action driven YA romance with a bit of spunk and sass. There is banter, street racing, hot guys, and revenge seeking villains all in one rip-roaring thriller.

This one reminds me of a mediocre version of books like “Paper Princess” or “Nowhere But Here.”

While the story is entertaining and I really loved some of the minor characters, like Noah and Mason, I didn’t like how little of Aiden and Amelia’s relationship developed by the end of the story. They didn’t even really figure out what they were by the last chapter.

I needed a little more progression with the romance and I found myself lost in the dialogue at times. There were a lot of characters talking at once and sometimes I just wanted the chapter to be about Amelia and Aiden.

All in all, Amelia and Aiden are lovable characters with lots of layers and I’m curious how their story plays out. I just needed a bit more development with their relationship. I’ll probably end up reading the second one just to find out how the giant cliffhanger absolves.

Had me hooked from beginning to end. A complete page turner. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Filled with tons of drama and suspense.

Amelia has a past. But for now, she is just wanting to finish her senior year and go by unnoticed. Little did she know what fate has in store for her. She’s tough and fierce. Aiden is the school’s hottest bad boy. Has a tough exterior but secretly is a sweetheart. Has his demons to face.

Amelia crashes into Aiden starting a whole new journey for the two. Between new friends, enemies, pranks, and love triangles. Both have secrets. Will they be able to be kept hidden or will all be revealed.

Was very well written. Finished it quickly. That ending though. All I can say is I need the next book ASAP.

I LOVE LESBIAN YA CONTEMPORARY NOVELS.

This was SO CUTE. I loved this so much. I can't even go into detail without giving so much away. This definitely leaves you with a cliff hanger!

This books is rather intense for its genre but it has such great comedic relief as well. It is full of drama and teen angst. I just loved it so much.

Thank you so much to the publisher, the author, and NetGalley for this review copy.

She felt starting a new school a month and a half into first semester is hard enough- having her face planted would scream new girl eat me drive. Amelia Collins was the name she was using this time. She had to try to get through her Senior year without drawing attention to herself. She hates being late. She is hurrying and then saw a group of teenage boys and tried to avoid them and then hits a wall and drops a lot of her things and picks them up and turns around and comes face to face with something hard and very human. Her stuff falls to the floor again. Than he growls “ Are you blind? Can’t you see I’m walking here?” Amelia tells Aidan off. One of the guys friends said “ She told you off Aidan.” Aidan than picks her up and takes her to her classroom. Amelia hurt her ribs again and when he put her down by her classroom she fell to the floor and could not get up because of the pain. She had hurt her ribs three times now. She manages to get her phone and calls her Mom to take her to the ER. Her mom says “ You be careful you know he is still out there.” Amelia has three broken and two bruised ribs trying to heal. Amelia than notices two of Aidan’s friends They help her up but she is in so much pain one of them picks her up and carries her outside and stayed with her until her mom came. The one that stayed with her was Mason and the other guy was Noah. Her mother wasn’t happy the boys were there and said” Remember you promised. No boyfriends. No social media. No teams or clubs. You’re allowed to go to gym class and practice your jujitsu. I can’t stop you from making friends, but you need to be responsible.” Two weeks and a lot of painkillers later and Amelia is back at school. Amelia studied the school map while recuperating so she is sable to get to her first class- history. Mason came up behind her and Amelia went into attack mode but he defused her. Then she met a girl named Charlotte and they became friends. Her second class was Calculus and Aidan was there but didn’t notice her. She almost got out of there after class without him noticing her but she dropped her notebook. Aidan picks it up and she was allowed to go around him and leave. He hadn’t said anything. Amelia used to love Halloween but not so much anymore. Noah invited her to a Halloween party. She had tried to decline but he wouldn’t take no. At the party, a guy she didn’t know grabbed her, she fought him and she did fine until his four friends showed up. Aidan saved her butt. She knew better. She knew people got hurt around her. Noah ended up in the hospital but she did find out he would be ok.
I loved this book right up until the end. Than there was the cliffhanger. I am so not happy about that. Such a good read a 5 but now a four normally I take off two points but this was such a good read until than. I loved how Melia’s new friends care so much about her and each other. I also loved how guilty she felt about having to lie to her friends and Aidan about who she really was. I loved how Aidan and Amelia interact with each other. I loved the closeness Aidan has with his friends. I love how Aidan took custody of his twin younger brothers and how responsible he was. I loved the pace and plot. I didn't want to put this down and didn;t unless I had to. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend it.

Thank you to NetGalley and Smith Publicity for my ARC copy of She's With Me!

Jessica Cunsolo’s She’s with Me is a kaleidoscope of modern day teen romance, revenge thriller, and over-the-top excitement. It’s Mean Girls meets Gone Girl meets The Client, as the story twists and turns around its fierce female lead, leading to a heart-racing cliffhanger . . .
Telling the truth is sometimes harder than keeping a secret…
Standing out as the new girl is hard enough, but add in Amelia Collins’s dangerous past, and her life depends on sneaking through senior year unnoticed. But when she crashes into the school’s most infamous heartthrob, Aiden Parker, on her first day, she’s suddenly on everyone’s radar, and as Amelia becomes immersed in a new group of friends, keeping a low profile won’t be an option—even if it’s a necessity.

This definitely was a different kind of read for me, but I enjoyed the fast paced-mean girls- meets-gone girl vibe. And that ending?? WHAT??? I need a part 2 ASAP.
