This book is so fast paced! It had me not wanting to put it down. I'm excited to read the sequel. I loved the love interests and the side characters and really hope that there is more of their stories upcoming. There is teen angst and pranks and sass to the max.

This is the first book that I have read from this author.

I got this book for an honest review. My first thoughts were holy jumping right in. I loved how it kept Amelia's secret right on the edge of suspense. I also loved how her and Aiden's relationship was built up. I hated how the end of the book has left me wanting more and hating to wait for the next book. I can see myself re reading this book and still getting the same reaction I got the first time reading. I'm looking forward to more of this author's books.

I was pleasantly surprised at She’s With Me. While I will say that there is no denying that the story seems to hit on several cliches and was a bit too predictable at times, it managed to keep me interested. Interested enough that I immediately went in search of the next book. I like the basis of the story. The storyline as far as Thea/Amelia seemed a bit crunched, but the character development was great, and there were a few things missed that I hope get caught in the editing processes so as to to distract from the rest of the story. If this is the author’s first book, then I look forward to future reads, especially as her writing progresses.

She’s with me is fast paced and pulls you in immediately. I did find some of the plot points a bit weird, but that could be just because I didn’t expect it to go that route. The relationships felt too instantaneous and conversations seemed a bit cheesy and unrealistic. Overall I did enjoy the story and the twist at the end caught me off guard.

I definitely enjoyed this one! A little twisted and crazy. But so fun and hilarious!
I really wasn't sure I'd like this. But it was the perfect book to give myself a break from heavier things!

This book was incredibly enjoyable from page one. Although it falls into clichés and tropes She's With Me really pulled it off and became it's own thing apart from those.
I clicked with the characters straight away and their closeness and friendship was incredibly believable and I had so much fun reading chapters with the whole gang together.
A testament to how much I was enjoying this book is that I completely abandoned Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo, a book I was loving, to read this until 2:30 am.
And it left on a cliff hanger! I gasped! I would defnitly consider continuing on and reading what ever's to come in this series.

Loved this book.
I was able to figure out what was going on pretty quickly but that made me keep reading to make sure I was right. The events that led to the ending were just as awesome as I knew they were going to be.
The only issue I have this book is the amount of time that it covers. It doesn't cover nearly enough. Or at least I felt like the story could have a better ending. The fact that it ended on a cliffhanger irritates me to my soul. I hate cliffhangers in books.

I will look forward to the follow up for sure!

She’s With Me by Jessica Cunsolo, 400 pages.
Wattpad Books, 2020. $11.
Language: R (220 swears, 41 “f”); Mature Content: PG13; Violence: PG13
BUYING ADVISORY: HS - NO
AUDIENCE APPEAL: AVERAGE
Amelia is the new girl again, and she’s determined to keep her head down this time because neither she nor her mother want to keep running from the past. But then Amelia makes one friend. Then two. Then she suddenly has a group, and they make her happy. Does Amelia have to choose between being safe and living her life?
For readers to enjoy this book, you have to go into it knowing that Amelia’s story is cheesy and a little ridiculous; expect to laugh and roll your eyes at the characters’ antics. Cheesy teen romances can be very entertaining, but I found this one to be somewhat disappointing because I did not support most of the main character’s actions or her love interest. I am not interested enough to search out the sequel. The mature content rating is for illegal activity, mentions of drugs, drunk driving, mentions of oral sex, sex euphemisms, and sexual assault. The violence rating is for assault, mentions of domestic abuse and kidnapping, and murder.

DNF. Got about half way through, but it just couldn't hold my attention. Characters and plot were juvenile I read a lot of YA, but am far from the demographic. As such perhaps my suspension of disbelief isn't the same, but I was continually rolling my eyes. Just didn't work for me.

A huge thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an eARC of this book in exchange for a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own and are not influenced by anything.

It brings me pure joy when I find that a Wattpad novel is being published and love that those amazing authors’ books are going out of a computer screen and into the world! So when I saw Stay With Me, I knew I just had to read it

Amelia Collins is yet again relocated and is set on completing her senior year without any more problems, and swears off friends because she doesn’t want any of them getting hurt. But all her plans are ruined when she, quite literally, runs into Aidan Parker, who she at first hated but then became someone she trusts. With new friends and new problems, her past quickly catches up with her and threatens her life and the life of others.

She’s With Me is one of those books where you laugh and cry with the characters, where their friendship, love, and loyalty for each other is absolutely heartwarming and fills you with warmth. And I am ecstatic that it’s being published, it definitely deserves to be.

I loved the idea of this novel, how it’s not every other cliche romance and how there is a sense of mystery and action mixed in. The blend of these genres made it sooooo interesting and even left you hanging sometimes, but that only made you want more. Jessica Cunsolo wrote She’s With Me in the best way possible and she never lets you get bored for even a second.

I was so sad when I read the last words, I did not want to finish this book, but I did and in like two days. She’s With Me is such an amazing book and there are not enough words in the world for me to express just how amazing it is! You must buy it once it’s released which is soon!!

I definitely recommend this novel, especially if you love reading young adult romance because then this book needs to be on the very top of your TBR list (you’ll thank me later). Overall, I rate She’s With Me 5 out of 5 stars. I’m excited to see what Jessica Cunsolo writes next.

I feel like this book is your typical YA. New girl + Rude cute boy = YA book. But it’s okay, I didn’t mind that. I would love to read more from this author. And I plan on suggesting this book to my friends who love this genre!

I had anticipated a good reaction from this book, seemingly having all the elements from a YA romance book that I enjoy. However, I just couldn't get into the storyline and it moved very slowly. Descriptive language? Sure. Cute as heck to the point of cheesy? Definitely.

You can really tell that this is a typical Wattpad romance novel, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but also isn't a great thing. I also, for some reason, thought this was an F/F romance (my bad, I didn't read the synopsis properly) so I was kinda disappointed when I realised it was about The Straights. The book was kinda dull, nothing special but I also don't have any complaints so I would feel bad giving it anything less than a 3 star. It's probably closer to a 2.5 but I rounded up because I'm nice.

I first read She’s With Me when Ava Violet was releasing chapter by chapter on Wattpad. Now, using her real name, Jessica Cunsolo is living the real life of an author and getting all the perks! One of the most popular series on Wattpad it was no surprise that the company would go ahead and publish She’s With Me in print to be released this January.

A note if you have read the series before on Wattpad: Read it again! Jessica really takes her time keeping all of the lovely banter and dialogue we all loved and re wrapping it with some nice subtle changes. The story as a whole is re worked so that the flow is by far on a more professional level. Jessica gets high marks for taking what was a personal project and transforming it into a stand alone novel that even more millions of people will enjoy.

I instantly feel head first into this book for obvious reasons. The main character, Amelia, is witty, snarky and most of all hilarious. Set in her point of view, the reader gets an inside view of feelings, emotions and rationalizing that Amelia does as she wades thru another new school and making new friends.

The plot revolves around Amelia, who we find out very early on is living under police protection under a fake alias. Subject to some awful circumstances, Amelia is constantly on the run from her past. She is trying to live as normal as possible, blending in where she can. What she doesn’t realize is just how hard that’s going to be when she falls face forward into Aiden.

Aiden is also a character surrounded by mystery. He’s got that stereotypical bad boy hard exterior, dealing with many problems of his own. Amelia works her way (unintentionally) to getting to know him and breaks down many walls while at it. His hard exterior is hiding a kind, strong young boy who has more on his plate than any teenager should ever have.

My all time favorite part of this book is the friend group and “the boys.” In a way, I felt greatly attached to this group of people, feeling a part of them as much as I could. The personality dynamics are outstanding and very fun! The group is a ride or die type that always have Amelia back no matter what.

In all, Jessica really has put out some awesome content and I cannot wait to get my hands on a physical copy. If you are a fan of After, this is a more age appropriate version, with all the same feels and emotions! 5 stars would recommend!

This book was just so good, I read some of this book back when it was still only a wattpad story and to be honest I skipped through some of it. But this time i read all of it and I was definitely not disappointed!

This book is about Amelia Collins who moves with her divorced mother to a new school in her senior year of high school, literally not even 2 minutes into the book we meet Aiden who decided to be a complete jerk that morning. He snaps at Amelia when she bumps into him and she gives him a polite response at first, until he doesn't get it and she snaps back just as hard, and then just walks away (something i would totally do btw), but right on her way to find her classroom Aiden picks her up and literally just drops her in front of the room she's supposed to be in.

Amelia faces some hard challenges and just panic inducing moments which made me read through the pages like Sonic!! It's definitely a book I would call hard to put down since I stayed up all night reading it and ended up just passing out on my bed while my music was still playing and I was still on the Kindle app.

This was a really interesting read and I really look forward to reading the sequel, a solid 4 stars :)

Well while I didn't completely hate and at times yes I cracked up but it was soooo soo cheesy and fake and pretty much predictable, but for an afternoon of having nothing to do, grab it. Would I read more from this author, I might after all the other ones.

I received this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own.

At best, I expected this book to be a fluffy and fun romance. While it was, in a way, it was also so, so bad.

The dialogue is extremely poor: cheesy, corny, and painfully cringy. The writing is weak, and while the grammar holds up for the most part, the prose is cliche and dull. It’s all very sloppy.

However, I do like how action-packed the plot is. The scenes aren’t well written, the action is contrived, the characters are idiots, but I still found the physical fights entertaining and exciting. It’s hard not to, especially when there isn’t much else going on in the story; at least it gives the characters something to do.

The main storyline is how everyone is out to get Amelia in some way or another and for some reason or another. How does she handle this? By letting Aiden handle it. She’s passive, occasionally throws a hissy fit, and the author tosses her in situation after situation simply to get the dark, hot boyfriend a chance to get protective and save her. This happens repeatedly. It’s the plot in a nutshell.

The rest of the plot’s subplots and conflicts are hardly worth mentioning. Amelie’s personal dilemma is so contrived and predictable, and the high school rivalries are eye-roll worthy. The world building is non-existent, and when the author introduced the “Tracks”, I almost laughed out loud. It’s a ridiculously convenient and contrived addition to the setting.

The characters are terrible: stereotypes abound, with everyone (except the obvious villains) falling head over heels for the heroine, and a predictably one-dimensional secondary cast. The protagonist - Amelia - is feisty, clumsy, lovably “finds trouble” as her friends and boyfriend say, and obviously falls in love with the coveted bad boy of the school (who has a tragic past, who’s the guardian of his younger twin brothers, and whose jerk exterior is so very clearly a facade to hide his gentle, complicated soul - *yawn*). Naturally, he also has an ex-girlfriend who’s blonde and who wants him back. That is one of the pathetic sources of conflict.

She’s With Me is what you’d expect from the title: a protective bad boy saves his girlfriend from contrived dramas. The writing’s weak, the dialogue’s cheesy, and the plot has no backbone. If you’re looking for something fun and light, this might do it. But if you’re anything like me, you’ll end up just rolling your eyes.

Great fast paced read. Amelia and Aiden were very likable and sparks flew between then banter wise as well as romance wise. The secondary characters were also very likable and I would love to read their stories. Enjoy it when the girl characters can be friends with the guy ones. Would definitely pick up #2

I'm absolutely amazed at the beautifully paced plot with so much action and entertaining drama going on. The characters are fabulous, and so impressively developed. You just can't help loving them. The protagonist's relationship with her friends is beautiful and deep and so well developed.
Talking about whom, I'm in love with her! I've never wished more to be someone as much as I want to be Amelia Collins. She has the prettiest, toughest and most interesting personality ever.
This book was so intense and completely hooking, I could practically feel the adrenaline rushing through my veins. And the suspense was spot-on. Ava Violet has yet to disappoint.

4.5 stars. There were several serious themes and situations, but I still laughed so hard several times. The MC Amelia is smart, funny, and strong.
I really enjoyed reading strong friendships (I’m so tired of YA where the girls are whiny jerks). Yes, there was a mean girl, but Amelia quickly makes friends with other smart, funny girls. I loved Aiden’s complicated character and how he and Amelia slowly open up and learn to trust each other. Looking forward to the next installment.

I’ll be leaving tea views on Goodreads, Amazon, B&N and my bookstagram.
