I would say this was a 3.5 to 4 star clean romance. The storyline was fun, and the characters were engaging and it ended in a HEA of sorts (has a feeling of a quick loose end tie up for the main characters)-more of a to be continues in the next book with other main characters. Sierra is going to her sister's wedding, a reality TV show based on the prep before the wedding, which sounds like fun and a way to get her face out there since she's an actress hoping for a break. But what should have been a fun time helping her sister win her wedding turns out quite different. Fox doesn't want to be in the limelight, he had his chance years ago but lost it after a hard break up with his girlfriend, but for his best friend he's willing to do anything to help out even putting up with a bratty want to be star of the bride's little sister.. Fox and Sierra mix as well as oil and water, even with the underlying attraction. Misunderstandings, cameras everywhere and wedding hi-jinks makes this a fun read. I felt that even though the age difference was stressed many times by Fox he seemed just as immature in his action as Sierra. I found that there are many storylines were hinted at but not answered/addressed fully, maybe in the next book? In the end it was a good book but it left me wanting to know more.

I really struggled with this book and actually gave up about half way through.
The "heroine" was just a spoilt brat and, while I appreciate that she probably changed her ways as these people do by the end of romance novels, I just couldn't take it anymore. I feel like I could have liked the hero and even the storyline, I was curious to find out more about their estranged brother, but the main character put me off.
I have nothing against this author or the way she writes and would happily try another of her stories, unfortunately it was aaaall to do with Sienna. 1 star.

The Bridesmaid and the Jerk is a cute and sassy romance about a wedding and a reality show. The two main characters, Fox and Sienna, have a love-hate relationship that's so fun to read about.

I liked the idea of making a reality show centered around a wedding. Sienna is an actress and adds the drama I love in a reality show. She doesn't always get along with Fox but it does add great banter.

This book was dramatic and exciting. It did end on a cliffhanger, that left me wanting book 2 like ASAP.

I give The Bridesmaid and the Jerk 3.5 stars. It was fun and engaging. Awesome start for this series.

Enemies to lovers with witty banter and celebrities? Sign me up!

Fox and Sienna have a complex relationship, to be sure. But the way the book is written, you get to know them so well as individuals, and you see their individual personalities and struggles as well as see them evolve from two people existing side-by-side to two people existing together. You also see their relationships with Wade and Reagan, and those relationships are really well-developed rather than just an aside in the book, as so many other authors do.

Can't wait to read more in this series. Fox and Sienna get their HEA in this book, but there is a bit of a cliffhanger as we move onto the next couple. So this is really self-contained. A great example of chick-lit/clean romcom at it's finest.

I enjoyed the story but a little upset I didn’t know if would end that way. I like a good hea and I have no idea what’s going on with the story. It was a amusing story but also annoying when Fox all of a sudden wants to be with her and sings to her. Too unbelievable.

This was a cute read. I loved how Fox and Sienna bantered with each other and the way they fell in love and became a couple was really sweet. Enjoyed their story!

Here are Five Things I Think you Should Know About This Book:
1. Reality Shows are Drama in SO Many Ways

This group isn't even really that dramatic, and yet the cameras really bring out the worse in some of them. I guess that's just how it goes with reality television. It made me laugh how even when she was trying to be inconspicuous, Sienna still managed to get herself into trouble at times.

2. Sienna is adorable

I thought she was really cute and a fun character to read about. She's an actress so she can be a bit dramatic, but you can tell that she really wants what's best for her sister and she really wants Audrey to have a great wedding.

3. Love, Hate, Neutral Feelings, Hate, then Love

That's pretty much the cycle of Sienna and Fox's relationship. And I loved it. Haha. They have reasons to be suspicious of each other in the beginning. Sienna incorrectly assumes that Fox is a janitor. Meanwhile, Fox is sure that Sienna is going to ruin the wedding day of two of his best friends. But as they get to know each other, they begin to realize that maybe that were too quick to make judgments about each other.

I thought the authors had really good pacing and the story felt believable as Sienna and Fox got to know each other better and learn more about each other.

4. There's a bit of a cliffhanger

That's right. Apparently there are more books coming in this series! Yay! The only problem is that this one ends on a bit of a cliffhanger. Sigh. I checked goodreads to see what I could find out about the next release but there's not anything up there yet.

5. Unanswered Questions

Because of the cliffhanger, I have some questions! I have a feeling they might be answered in the next book. Hopefully.

The Bridesmaid and The Jerk was an entertaining read with two great characters in Sienna Hudson and Fox Wilson. Both playing a major part in her sister’s wedding with Fox the best man to the groom. Whilst their relationship was tense to begin, that made for a more entertaining read. What gave this book a great twist, was that both Fox and Sienna were involved in a television series surrounding the wedding, putting their budding romance in front of the spotlight – literally!

The writers Kayla Tirrell and Daphne James Huff in the first book in the series, established several great secondary characters, adding to Sienna and Fox’s story. I thought that Fox’s character was particularly enjoyable as he seems more hesitant than Sienna given his past history but is not afraid to reveal his past hurt to his male friends. A nice touch! Whilst I would have preferred that their relationship and romance have more time to develop, the cliff hanger proved interesting.

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Excuse me what? It's over?
The story was just starting and then BAM the book is over!

This was a fun, fluffy little story, and I enjoyed going through it, but as I mentioned it was too short.
I understand what the author wanted to do with that ending, but it could've been done better. I mean, I would've liked it more if the author established the relationships between the characters better. I'm not just talking about Sienna and her love interest, but literally everyone else.
All the interactions and relationships were glossed over, and it made everything that happened (other than what included the MCs) seem unimportant.

But overall, it was quite enjoyable and I had fun going through it.

I really like the concept of wedding in reality TV. Promises so much drama. The characters were fine and romance was also okay. I might pick next book in the series.

The story of Sienna and Fox. She is the bridesmaid and he is the jerk.

All she wants is her sister's wedding to go well, and they are pitted against each other in the wedding games, as the producer wants in on their story too. Sienna wants to be an actress, but Fox left all that behind years ago when he left his life in a band behind.

The book ends quite suddenly, so you do need to read the next one in the series.
