I believe Gun Brooke writes the best lesfic space sci-fi. When you read this book (and her others like The Supreme Constellations series) you feel immersed in the story like it could really be happening. It feels so realistic that as you bond with the characters you forget you're reading something that couldn't possibly happen for centuries. I love her characters, especially the underdogs like Moon (and Kellen from SC) who are so strong and capable despite the terrible things they endured in their pasts. The strong and determined leaders like Beaux (and Rae from SC) becomes the ones who are saved. The ending was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this book and all of Gun Brooke's works, sci-fi or not.
