I absolutely love these comics! They're not only adorable, but they remind you of all the cute interactions you've had with your loved one. There have been many times that I have forwarded one of Catana Chetwynd's comment to my boyfriend because it reminded me of us. I will definitely be buying a copy of Snug for my coffee table, as well as a few copies for friends.
Something to take into account - it might be nice if Catana could release a more diverse book of comics. I understand that these are Catana and her significant other, but more diversity in the comics will in turn create more diversity for more fans to enjoy :)

As I said before and will continue to say it, works published by Andrew's McMeel will always strike a chord in my heart!

I love how adorable this book was! The comics are quirky, hilarious and so cosy. It is an enchanting portal into the little moments in a relationship! This book is truly something any reader will enjoy whatever their relationship status will be as it focuses on how every moment is relatable and something that we should learn to cherish! If you are with the wrong person, it also sets things down into perspective as it shows that somewhere out there is a person just as weird as you are!

I loved this book so much as it provides a deep insight into how beautiful a relationship can be!

Rating: 5/5 (Is there a way I can give this book more than 5?)
Recommended: Whether you are single or in a relationship or married or its complicated, this book is a perfect read as it shows the joys of a right relationship in the tiniest moments possible!

Thank you to netgalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

An adorable comic focused on the beauty and quirky side of that feeling that is love. I have followed the comic on social media for a while and just adore the style. In my own relationship I relate to so many of the panels and spent a considerable amount of time laughing out loud to this book.

I read Catana Chetwynd's "Little Moments of Love" not too long ago, so when I saw a new comic collection on NetGalley, I leapt at the chance to read it immediately. Just like my previous read, the comics within Snug are absolutely relatable and totally sweet. This is an adorable, feel-good kind of book, even for those not currently in a relationship. This was totally a one-sitting book, but one that I can definitely go back to again and again. Absolute gem!

This was an ARC recommended via NetGalley.

I was so excited to get approved to read this ARC. I have been a HUGE fan of these comics for years!
These comics/stories are so darn relatable and remind me so much of me and my husband. Throughout reading most of the comics, I would lean over and show my husband, and we'd laugh and enjoyed them together.
The art style is always cute and very simple. I like that about it. I think that if it were overly complicated it might now be as relatable to everyone else.
I love these comics and as an already fan of them, I will continue to read them for days to come! Great job guys!

I love Catana’s comics, so I was really excited to see Snug pop up on Netgalley. I even broke my self-imposed ARC ban for it, just because I knew I’d finish it in one sitting.

The thing about Catana’s comics is that they’re really cute and they’re really relatable.

Catana and her fiance remind me a lot of me and my boyfriend, which never fails to make me smile. In fact, this comic below is us on a daily basis.

As I was reading, I kept calling my boyfriend over to look at the comics. This is such a great collection. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was that I’d seen a ton of the comics on Instagram already, and I’m sure by the time the book comes out, even more will have been shared there.

Overall, this was an adorable collection of comics and I don’t think a day will come when Catana’s comics don’t make me smile.

First of all, I want to thank Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with an e-arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I have seen some of Catana's comics around, so I was very excited to read this book. The illustrations are cute, I like that they are rather minimal and black and white. The book is made up of adorable little moments in Catana's and John's relationship. The thing I probably liked the most is how supportive they are to each other.

I really enjoyed this collection of Catana's comics. This was a very sweet, adorable, feel-good book that reminded me of my reading experience of Adulthood is a Myth by Sarah Andersen because both books are relatable and fun to read.

I haven't read Catana's first book but now I really want to!

This was definitely cute. I first thought, however, that this was going to be a collection of comics with multiple couples and their cute lovey-dovey lives. That's not quite what this is, even thought the title suggested that (at least, to me when I read it).

This collection of comics is very specific to the relationship of the author. Not that there's anything wrong with that: it's a very cute relationship. But I felt some kind of disconnect, because some things and situations were so much a part of THEIR relationship, they wouldn't be something other couples would experience. E.g. comics where their height difference came into play, or where she's always cold while she's always hot.

Some of these comics made me chuckle though. It's a cute idea and I liked most of the comics.

For a personal comic collection about the author's relationship, this is just very cute. It's just that I expected it to be a little different, with more couples, more diversity, and more situations that would be relatable for other people.

Snug is a cute feel good book that one can curl up and read in a night. The characters are adorable, the writing sharp and honest, and the art work is phenomenal. Definitely a light read on a dreary day.

Received in exchange for an honest review.

I freaking loved this. I laughed so many times. This was perfect - although I'm feeling very attacked because the female portrayal is literally me. Snug is published in Feb 2020, and I will be buying it for valentines day for my partner and I strong suggest everyone else do the same.

Absolute genius.

I love Catana’s art style and can relate so much to her comic strips. I always tell my husband “it’s like we’re connected” because we’ll have just done something or said something and Catana puts out a comic of John and her dealing with that particular thing! Her comics always bring so much joy to my life.

I first saw snippets of Chetwynd's comic strips on social media. They stuck to me for quite some time. So when I saw that they were going to be compiled into a book I knew I had to get my hands on Snug.
Just like the snippets I saw, Snug is adorable, quirky, and relatable. It definitely brought out the romantic in me. The relationship was not depicted as a fairytale. Instead it showed how two people in love see past each other's flaw and cherish their time together. With all the mushy gooey goodness Snug has to offer, it brought a smile to my face and long for such unadulterated love.

I really liked it. The pictures are great and the stories are lovely and funny.

Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review and I'd like to thank them in letting me read a copy of Snug: A Collection of Comics about Dating Your Best Friend by Catana Chetwynd.

Each page is filled with cute little snippets of life. If you want something quick to read that is relatable and will make you smile, this is the perfect collection for you. The simplicity of the art allows the reader to not feel overwhelmed, and makes it easy to comprehend what’s happening.

This was such a cute graphic novel on love and partnership. I loved the simple illustrations and the story of what it's like to with someone. It definitely brought back memories of how it was when my husband and I were dating and were first married.

I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

My boyfriend and i have followed Catana comics for quite some time now, and we always find them humourous and relatable, we are always saying their relationship seems similar to ours. This book lived up to my expecatations and gave me the same warm feeling i always get when i see Catanas comics, full disclosure i'm already biased and have even purchased one of their calenders as an anniversary gift before.

This book is extremely wholesome and adorable, i could easily imagine grabbing a coffee, or getting comfy on the couch, and going through this with an SO seeing which comics you relate to the most! it reminds you of all the great parts of being in a relationship.

I am a huge fan of Catana Comics and this collection is no different. Her work is just so relatable. I found myself pausing every couple of pages to show my husband this one, then that one, usually echoed with a “oh we have done that”, “yup, that’s true” and an occasional “damn has this woman been watching us, as this is just how we act!” I think she has just captured how great it is be in that kind of loving relationship. Her own intro to this collection says it best

We hope that reading this book brings a smile to your face and maybe even a quick “look” in the direction of your significant other.

It certainly did being a smile to my face and I am sure it will for all that read it. If you are currently building your anticipated reads of 2020 this one should be one it for sure. It comes out the fourth of February and would make an excellent Valentines gift for someone special too!

Very cute comics about relationships, self-acceptance, and enjoying life. Readers of Valérie Minelli and Philippa Rice will enjoy.
