Eh. it was alright, but not amazing.. the characters were eh.eh. I did not like them much, and the chemistry was so-so.

This book was really different. I actually liked it for the most part, but because Blesk was raped and the reader got a descriptive, detailed telling of it, I can't rate it any higher. I can't handle those scenes and usually wouldn't read a book with that in it, but I had no forewarning for this book. So for anyone who can't stomach those scenes, this is your forewarning.

Blesk and Konnor went through a despicable time as kids, so I am not surprised that they are a bit messed up as adults. I think Blesk needs to go to therapy, like asap.

Overall, this was an okay novel with a lot of disturbing events that kept me on the edge of my seat.

Full of twists, turns, and drama. It's a mix between sweet and dark/dangerous, which makes it a quick read.

This is definitely not your typical new adult romance. I was quite surprised by how this book started off and how it progressed. This story is definitely more suspense, mystery romance than just a new adult romance. There are many times when the romance plays second fiddle to the storyline and is not the main focus.

The first chapter of the book is completely unnecessary as it adds no value to the story whatsoever and it just ended up confusing the heck out of me. There were so many characters mentioned right off the bat and it's significance is not done justice at all.

Overall, once I let go of my expectation of the story, I quite enjoyed it but it is too heavy for me and so should be marketed more appropriately.

I really enjoyed this book! It was so much more than dark romance. It has suspense and mystery as well. The character development was on point. I can't wait to read the next installment!

Not really my cup of tea. It seemed a little too messy and awkward. I think the overall story could have used a good amount of tweaking.

I admit I fell for the cover, it's just stunning and mysterious and I really thought it reflected the book. Sadly, it didn't.

This is in need of a good editor. The multiple POVs have zero difference between them, if the name wasn't next to the chapters I would have no idea who was talking, they all sounded completely the same. Some inner thoughts are in italics which completely takes you off the story, it's distracting. The dialogue, the exclamation points and the bold fonts, it's all just messy and too much. Whatever plot there is to enjoy and focus on becomes impossible to read.

This story was alright but I feel like it could've been executed better. It was interesting enough. However, the writing was awkward to me. It felt forced in most places and the characters seemed like the same person to me. When it would flip to a different POV it all felt the same. Not as if I was reading from a different character POV. It also needs a good edit. I would get tripped up when there were grammatical errors.
