Quinn and Delilah are back again in this intriguing cozy mystery by Caroline Fardig.
When Quinn and her boyfriend Tucker are doing some yard work, Quinn makes a gruesome discovery that sets in motion a whirlwind investigation filled with twists and turns.
Quinn's discovery involves the disappearance of a high school graduate, a bizarre love affair, and her parents.
With the help of her sister Delilah and her boyfriend Tucker, Quinn sets out to find the truth, since Tucker's aunt seems to be the prime suspect.
Between the two sisters, the pieces come together and they find out that even privileged people have dark secrets.

This has become one of my favorite series. The characters are wonderful, and easy to like, and the mystery will keep the reader on the edge of their seat.
I can't wait to see what happens next in this excellent series.

Quinn Bellandini and her sister, Delilah, run their grandfather's B&B in Savannah, Georgia. Recently, they got slightly distracted, by investigating a murder at a local restaurant. But now everything will be back to normal, right?

Unfortunately, when Quinn and her boyfriend, Tucker Heywood, are digging Tucker's Aunt Lela a new firepit in her back yard, they find a body. Even more unfortunately, it turns out to be the body of Esther Sinclair, a neighbor girl who disappeared thirty years ago, right after her high school graduation. Worst of all, older, married Lela had several run-ins with Esther, because Esther flirted with every man she met, including Lela's husband, Beau Habersham. Esther being found buried on Lela's property does not look good, and Lela is quickly arrested for Esther's murder.

And despite Tucker not wanting Quinn and Delilah to do anything dangerous, as they did in the previous murder investigation, he very much does want them to find evidence that will get Lela out of jail.

What makes this more interesting and more challenging for the Bellandini sisters is that their parents, Dixie Bellandini and Jack Anderson, were classmates of Esther Sinclair, and neither one of them wants to talk about what happened in those last weeks of their senior year.

It's easy to agree with Tucker that the sisters shouldn't do anything that might be dangerous, but it's also easy to sympathize with the sisters that his determination to keep them safe, while very much wanting them to investigate, is making it hard for them to actually do so.

We have two smart, strong, independent women, sisters who are closely bonded but also very individual. Their family and friends are also believable individuals, and worth getting to know. It's good to see someone raising at least somewhat rational concerns about safety, and if he's also the one getting them into this, well, conflicted interests aren't at all abnormal in human beings in crisis situations.

I really enjoyed this book. Recommended.

I received a free electronic galley from the publisher via NetGalley, and am reviewing it voluntarily.

I really liked the first book in the series, but I think I like this one even more. I liked reading about Quinn and Delilah’s adventures as they investigated the latest murder. With so many characters to track, it was so easy to imagine living in Savannah and being a fly on the wall for every conversation. Kudos to the author for a really charming follow up novel.

I’m always a fan of southern mysteries and was very excited for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review. I wasn’t disappointed! While I didn’t find myself falling in love with the characters, I really loved the story. I am always happy when I’m unable to figure the mystery out near until the end. I feel that if I read more with these characters, I would really like them. There was just so much going on with the story that I was unable to really get to know them. Nothing wrong with that at all, just a different kind of read. Will definitely look for more from this author!

They are just doing some landscaping in the back yard of Tucker's aunt's house when Quinn digs up a skull. This is really a cold case, going back thirty-three years. The girl who said she was leaving never made it. But when they jail Aunt Lela as murder suspect, the sisters go back into action as detectives. They know she didn't do it, so who did?

Alibi and Net Galley let me read this book for review (thank you). It has been published and you can grab a copy now.

Quinn and Delilah are running a bed and breakfast with the help of their grandfather but they have time in between things to question people about the new graduate buried in the back yard. Some cooperate better than others. They begin compiling suspects and arguing with each other over who should go on the list. Tucker works with them and adds his thoughts, too.

Then the cops arrest Quinn and Delilah's mother and father as suspects. They knew her but they hope they didn't kill her. Now the investigation gets stepped up.

I was surprised by who the killer was. The actual killer has no remorse for the murders...

Southern Harm is the second book in the Southern B&B mystery series but can be read as a standalone novel. I have not read the first novel and was able to read this one just fine! Southern Harm is a cute and cozy mystery with fun characters. I found a lot of parts to be funny and it is a light read compared to other mysteries. There is no bad language so it's perfect for any age who enjoys a little suspense.

Quinn and her sister, Delilah, are working together again as amateur detectives to help the aunt of Quinns boyfriend who has just been convicted of a 33 year old unsolved murder. In their small town, everyone is a suspect. Full of twists, turns, and laughs, Southern Harm is the perfect cozy mystery for anyone.

Thank you Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Southern Harm by Caroline Fardig is the second novel in the A Southern B&B Mystery. I have read other cozy mysteries by Caroline Fardig, so I was looking forward to this new series. It did not disappoint.

Quinn is helping run her family B&Bs, but there is nothing like an old mystery literally dug up in a yard that ties with both Quinn’s family and her boyfriend, Tucker’s family to make the story interesting. Quinn with her sister Delilah start asking questions, while Tucker focuses on taking care of his aunt, only to run into more questions. There were so many questions based on high school with mean girls and old boyfriends that make the story more interesting. Add in a dead uncle giving clues and you have a cozy mystery.

I enjoyed reading Southern Harm. I especially liked Quinn and Tucker together. Delilah is certainly a wild card and pushes the limit with questions. I think the series is going to be a fun read. Southern Harm by Caroline Fardig is a fun read.

Southern Harm is the second book in Caroline Fardig’s Southern B&B Mystery series. This is a fun and easy read, with humor, Southern charm, and an interesting mystery involving the decades’ old disappearance of a recently graduated high school girl. Suspects abound, and the twists and turns kept me guessing until the reveal. The mystery is well-plotted, and the characters are well-developed. I’m looking forward to reading future books in this series.

Quinn Bellandini and her older sister, Delilah, help run their grandfather’s B&B in Savannah, Georgia. Quinn is a member of an all-girl band called Sister Wildfire, and Delilah performs at the community theater. While Quinn and her boyfriend, Tucker Heyward, who is a contractor by trade, begin building an in-ground fire pit with a surrounding flagstone patio as a Christmas gift for his aunt, Lela, Quinn uncovers a human skull belonging to a young woman who disappeared thirty-three years ago. Once foul play is determined, Detectives Rufus King and Steve Flynn question and arrest Lela for the murder of Esther Sinclair, who vanished without a trace on the night of her high school graduation. Tucker knows his aunt couldn’t be guilty and hires an attorney to represent her, but doesn’t have the funds for a private investigator, so he accepts Delilah and Quinn’s offer to use their sleuthing skills to prove her innocence. As the case progresses, the Bellandini sisters discover well-kept secrets, multiple suspects, and two more family members find themselves in jail.

Quinn & her sister Delilah Ballandini run the family B&B and in between duties they investigate murders.

This time the victim is a not well liked classmate of their parents who was believed to have left town on graduation night. Instead it is Quinn who uncovers her buried body while helping her boyfriend put in a garden at his aunt's home. The plot seemed to wander around a bit but overall it was a good read. There were lots of twists and a surprise murderer.

This is the 2nd installment in the Southern B&B mystery series. This series follows the Belladini sisters Quinn and Delilah who run a B&B in Savanah. Quinn just wants to get back to some normalcy after the last book. Quinn and Tucker (Her boyfriend) want to give his Aunt Lela a firepit for Christmas and as they are digging to get it set up Quinn hits the skull of a dead body. Turns out to be the body of Esther Sinclair who disappeared in 1986 after graduation. Aunt Lela and the victim had a history and she becomes the number one suspect. Quinn cannot let Tucker’s Aunt spend the rest of her life in prison and frankly Delilah just wants a little bit of adventure. Guess I am going to have to get used to people thinking 1986 was a long time ago (ha ha). This was a delightful mystery and read and I really enjoy this series and hope that it continues. Great job.

A charming cozy mystery, with quirky characters and a great plot. Tucker, Quinn’s boyfriend, is planning to build a firepit for his Aunt Lela as a Christmas gift for her. Quinn is helping Tucker and while digging they discover a skeleton. The skeleton turns out to be a neighbor girl, Esther, who disappeared 30 years ago. Because Aunt Lela had issues with Esther, she is a prime suspect and is arrested. It is Quinn, together with her sister Delilah, who is determined to find the murderer as she does not believe Aunt Lela is guilty.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

There are some books that you read and the pages fly by and you're finished reading it in a day. I wish I could say that with this book. It was just too monotonous and the overabundance of suspects made it too confusing to keep the plot straight. I loved the three main characters. They were charming. I think if there was more action in the beginning, or midway through the book, I would have found it easier to read. I received this advanced reader's copy from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

I enjoyed this book. It's got a slow but steady paced story line that has a lot of investigating going on. I really liked the ending when the killer came out and was captured, the whole story of the murder was explained. The characters were enjoyable to watch. #SouthernHarm #NetGalley

This is the first of Fardig’s B&B series that I have read, but I’m no stranger to her cozy mysteries. I have enjoyed her Java Jive books previously. This series is set in Savannah and revolves around the Bellandini sisters and Quinn’s boyfriend, Tucker. While digging a fire pit, they unearth the 30 year old remains of a missing neighbor. They must then find the true killer in order to exonerate Tucker’s aunt. The plot is full of twists and turns that keep readers guessing til the end. A nice cozy read for a lazy evening.

I absolutely adore this series. The characters are always so fun and lively. The dynamics and differences between each are wonderful, and I especially enjoy how the sisters differences compliment one another. The family interactions and support of one another leave the reader feeling calm and relaxed even in the face of an impossible situation or mystery to solve. Overall, it is a feel good book. Thank you so much for the opportunity to get an advanced copy of this treasure. I cannot wait to see what is in store for Quinn and Delilah in the next book in the series. It will be sure to keep you laughing and entertained throughout.

I do like the B&B stories! The girls are at it again. A dead body in your yard is never a good thing. But Aunt Lela doesn't know how it got there. Aunt Lela has been detailed by the police and Tucker has asked for help to clear her name. I like how the girls go about finding clues but still have to fit in duties at the B&B. The girls are such a case of opposites so they make a good team. Lots of interesting characters in the book. I liked it!

Southern Harm is the second installment of Caroline Fardig’s Southern B&B Mysteries. When Quinn Bellandini is helping boyfriend Tucker Hayward to construct a fire pit and patio in his beloved Aunt Lela’s backyard, Quinn strikes an unusual stone with her shovel, a stone that turns out to be a skull. Then, the found bones turn out to be those of neighbor girl Esther Sinclair who had run away on the night of her high school graduation decades earlier. Though the mystery is solved as to where Esther had gone, there comes a bigger mystery; why was she found in Aunt Lela’s backyard and who killed and buried her?

WhenAunt Lela is taken into custody, Quinn and her sister Delilah set about trying to discover the identity of the true perpetrator and clearing Aunt Lela. But as they go about this, much is learned about that time, including information they didn’t need to know about their elusive parents.

This is a well written mystery with many twists and turns. The true villain is unveiled in the final chapters, leaving it a guessing game until the very end. Love this author! Love this series! Can’t wait for the next installment! I did enjoy this book and I do recommend it!

Pure unadulterated chick lit! Two sisters, one feisty and the other very Southern, manage their grandfather’s B&B in Savannah. One finds a buried body in her boyfriend’s Aunt’s backyard. The Aunt is incarcerated on a potential murder charge for the thirty some year old crime. Their investigation is frequently amusing and always very southern and filled with gossip. It was fun, fast reading. Thanks to Net Galley and Alibi for an ARC for an honest review.
