I received a reviewers copy of this book and I thoroughly enjoyed it . It’s a lovely, light Christmas romance and since Christmas is just around the corner, it’s a perfect time to go for this book. I loved the celestial messenger who is sent to nudge our hero and heroine towards each other ever so gently . It was a perfect holiday read fr me.

Snowflake Wishes, Christmas Kisses is Green Earth Christmas Book 3 by Annalisa Russo. Cord McQuada and his niece Hanna are heading to Cord’s Minnesota hometown of Green Earth. When he left there a decade or so ago it was to join the military at a judge’s request. Having come from the wrong side of the tracks, Cord and his sister Vanessa had a difficult childhood. Cord never wanted to return, but he needed his cousin Brad’s help. Cord and Hanna would stay in the small apartment above Brad's garage and Brad would help him get a job.

Giselle Delacroix came from a high fashion family, but had broken away to prove herself and fulfill her dream of bringing a quality children’s clothing and accessory store to Green Earth. She had spent many college holidays in Green Earth with her best friend Melanie, now Brad McQuada’s wife. It’s very hard work to turn the old building into her dream shop, but when heaven sent Holly Evergreen takes a job with Giselle, things begin to happen in both her shop and her personal life.

This is a multilevel story with sub stories of drug abuse, cults, embezzlement, and childhood trauma but is also a book of hope, even hope for divine intervention, for the characters in the story. The story’s twists and turns make it interesting and engaging. I did enjoy this book and do recommend it.

4.5

OMG! This book was so sweet! I loved this book so much! I am going to state the pros and cons but there's more pros, so that's always good!

This book is about a woman who has just moved into the small town and is opening a small shop called "White Ballon" *I loved the name so cute* and a man who has just moved back to the small town with his cousin after being deployed in military for a few years. And a teenage girl who is the employee of White Ballon.

*I'm not gonna give out names of the characters because we have some parts in the story were the name is "important". I don't know how to explain this so you'll have to read it to understand lol*

Okay here are the pros:

-As we read we get an inside view from all characters. So that means one chapter the pov will be of the man in this story and the next will be the employee and so on, so on.

-I found the characters very relate-able. Like you could very easily step in their shoes.

Here are the cons:

-It was very confusing at times. Once you get past the third chapter or so I found it much easier to read. There was just so much happening in the beginning so I couldn't grasp the plot or main characters at first. But that could just be me. That's why I have rated this book 4.5 but I decided to go with 5 because that may just be me.

All in all, this book is a very sweet and charming read. I recommend it to anyone who likes romance, suspense, and contemporary. This was my first from this author but definitely not my last.

*I received a free copy from NetGalley all thoughts and opinions are my own and vary among others*

The romance between Giselle and Cord makes for a beautiful Christmas romance. Throw in a heavenly matchmaker for some added intrigue.

This book was easy to read because the characters were well defined and the small, close community was a place you would like to be. Cord's past haunts him as he moves to town with his niece but he hopes his good intentions erase the prison charge from his high school days. Giselle is starting a new life also and the two of them seem to have a meaningful relationship until her brother does his best to discredit Cord. Hanna, Cord's niece, is an angry eleven year old because Uncle Cord took her away when her mother was sent to rehab. The loving community and Cord's efforts to win Hanna over is a special thread itself. We all need second chances. Great book.

A fun Christmas read, the story of Cord and Giselle. He is back in the town he couldn't wait to leave, and she is new in town so doesn't know his history. Will they give each other a chance?

I hadn't read the other books in this series, but don't think it really mattered - but I am not sure I quite got who Holly was though.
