I received an ARC of the book in exchange for an honest review.

It is a charming novella that will introduce you to small town Sunshine Valley, Colorado where Christmas is in the air. But some changes are in the works that will make the residents less than merry as the town manager has to make some unhappy decisions regarding the town festivities.

New town manager will meet his match with the new pet shop owner as their path collides. Will he be able to find holiday cheer in the middle of the humbug? Will love be found during the holidays?

There's a secret club in Sunshine Valley, CO. There are three members of this club, senior citizens Bitsy Whitlock, Mims Turner and Clarice Rogrs. These three are the sole members of the Sunshine Valley Matchmakers Club. They play poker to determine which member gets to pick the person to be matched up. In this story, A Christmas Wish, Bitsy wins the poker hand and she chooses Rosalie Reyes, widow and newly returned to town. After some discussion they decide to match Rosalie with new town manager Everett Bollinger, commonly referred to by most people in town as Scrooge. I like the whole premise of this new series by Melinda Curtis. Senior citizen "young-at-heart" ladies are perfect perpetrators of matchmaking. This is a fun read complete with likeable characters and happy Christmas activities. I highly recommend it!

Scrooge to Santa.
The matchmaking Widows Club decide that Rosalie Reyes should be their holiday project but the man they fix upon for her love interest is a veritable Scrooge and needs a little helping hand. A sweet small town romance with a Christmassy feel. A quick and easy read.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is a good little Christmas happy ever after story, its fast paced, and full of holiday cheer. Also, has some puppies...so not bad :)
It will be interesting to see the rest of the series of this little town and if these characters come back into play.
