This book was great! I've loved the previous Stacy Reid books I've read, so when given the opportunity to read an ARC of this one, I jumped on it! Kitty and Alexander were just so great together. I really loved their chemistry. I'll definitely be on the look out for the next book in this series!

My Darling Duke, is a unique story. Kitty is very daring in the chooses that she makes. It pays out in her favor, but could have gone the other way so easily. Alexander is the best. I love his character and his sister's the most. They both could be very bitter people but the are warm and loving.

Original turn of the trope of a fake engagement agreed by two characters; here it is a one-sided! How daring! Kitty soon discovers her association with the duke brings in the hoped for invitations as well as perks in the form of discounts at the modiste, but her conscience prevents her from accepting lines of credit at the shops.
Of course, word of his betrothal reaches Alexander in Scotland. He and his sister follow Kitty's mentions in the gossip rags with a bit of humor and his is intrigued by her impudence and must meet her!
There are ups and downs, especially as Alexander's health takes a turn for the worse.
I greatly enjoyed reading this. I've read a number of Stacy Reid's books - some good, some forgettable. I found this to be very well done and it will remain a "memorable" read.
My thanks to Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for the ARC opportunity. The thoughts expressed are my own.

I received an advanced readers copy in exchange for an honest review

Sweet and spicy, with one of the more affable heroes and daring heroines I’d seen in a while. Stacy Reid never disappoints!
