This book is a genious idea! I love it!
This book combines facts about animals that are not common to have been heard about by children and turns them into a memorable fact file that are so funny it had me in stitches!
This book is going to be a huge hit with children and I will definitely be getting a paper copy when it comes out!

This was a fun read and my five year old daughter was giggling away as we read about all the Criminals of the Animal Kingdom. Loved the format of this one. Each Animal Criminal is giving a rap sheet, complete with mug shot and lots of interesting facts about what makes them unique and a menace to the animal kingdom. It's a cool way for kids to learn about different animals and how they live and why they do the things they do. The illustrations are colourful and suit the vibrant, amusing storyline.

Wanted! Criminals of the Animal Kingdom is a fun picture book that teaches you all about the "crimes" being committed in the animal kingdom.

Throughout this book, you will find yourself along for a "wild" ride with the vivacious Detective X. Detective X is a polar bear, and one of the best officers out there for putting these criminals behind bars for good.

This picture book will be one your children will enjoy. It is a fun turn on an ordinary animal book. Instead of just being a fact book about animals, this picture book spins each animal into a criminal based on one of their specific animal adaptations or traits.

The illustrations in this book are the perfect mix of educational and fun. I loved how the animals were personified based on the crime they were found to have committed.

Young readers will love digging into the case files of each feature animal. The case files are designed to look like a real officer's criminal file, but they are packed full of facts about each animal.

ARC: Wanted! Criminals of the Animal Kingdom is a children’s book about different animals and all the bad things they do. This book is written in the form of rap sheets at a police station. Each rap sheet has the name of the animal, lifespan, where it lives, what it eats, and what “crime” it commits.

This is a very cute book and it also teaches the children about different animals. I highly recommended this book for the kids in your life. I for one will be buying a copy for quite a few kids I know!

A light, entertaining book about different animals in the form of police wanted posters/reports. A great way to introduce children to unique animals.

Thank you netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

What a clever way to teach kids about odd and unusual animals and their strange habits. Each animal has a mugshot and their aliases listed on their rap sheet as well as their “criminal activity”. I truly enjoyed reading this and seeing all of the cartoon drawings. Learning can be so fun!

This was a pretty good and distinctive, if flippant, nature book. It features a dozen critters with unusual activities or attributes, and gives us their details in the form of a police file. That way we learn the margay cat is incredibly simian, able to swing about like a monkey and sound like one at the same time; we cover the crooked system of mothering of a cuckoo; bower birds nicking anything blue for the love nest; Christmas Island red crabs that jaywalk in huge swarms over the roads, and so on. Clearly some are more criminal and nasty than others, but all get a similar rap, and it's a nice touch that the files go right on down through everything to the collective noun in each case. You won't really piece together the world's nature from these few instances of unusual behaviour, but you will have fun learning about some distinctive animal types.
