Every cookbook should be this fun, colorful, and beautiful! I love the layout. The images used are very helpful to understand each recipe. I love that there are pictures for every recipe - this is so important! The Museli recipe looks amazing and I have been craving this food! For more difficult recipes the cookbook has step by step photo instructions, which I think is a great idea. This is THE ideal cookbook and I love it! I almost forgot this was a vegetarian cookbook.

Cookbook for young cooks that focuses on healthy eating, with the bright, beautiful photographs that DK is known for, and a nice selection of easy, healthy and delicious vegetarian meals. Also includes information on nutrition, basic kitchen vocabulary and descriptions of instruments.

This is written for older kids, but it is appealing to me as an adult who, at heart, really just wants chicken nuggets and mac and cheese. Recipes are simple, the pictures are huge and inviting, and it is healthy food that will please the whole family.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review, which has not altered my opinion of the book.

What is the number one question that vegetarians get? Where do you get your protein! Honestly, it's not that hard. One part of this book that immediately caught my eye was that there was a spread about healthy eating and how to get the nutrients needed from different types of food and it shows where the majority of nutrients come from. This book even goes into how different spices can change the flavor of a dish.

What makes this book different from all the other vegetarian cookbooks out there? Well, the way that the recipes are presented. They are bright, exciting, and look like they have been drawn in. It reminds me a bit of the show The Chef Show on Netflix because it shows each of the ingredients and what they look like before they end up in the dish. This being said, it did take quite a bit longer for my computer to load each page simply because of the amount of color and pictures on each page. Yet, that is where my complaints about this book stop.

The recipes are divided into meals which really makes the book easily accessible and due to the pictures, going to the grocery store will be much easier. I am so excited to try some of these recipes and to integrate them into my family life. 4.5 out of 5!
