This series isn't the worst..... but it isn't great either.

The story lines have promise, I know there are short stories ... but each timeline was too rushed.

I like fast burn romances. But these relationship are moved to the "love and marriage" stage so fast.. By the end of book 1 you already knew every couple would be in love and married or engaged in less then a week.

These aren't bad books. I wish the author had taken a bit more time on the story instead of rushing it to fit into a short story.

What I loved more than each of the stories in the Fighters series set is that they all came in a set so that we can read and enjoy them all one after another, which is exactly what I did. And something I am grateful for, and those who are impatient like me would greatly appreciate. I absolutely liked and enjoyed each book for various reasons and how that they're individual from each other but also cohesive.

I really wanted to like this collection but it was a struggle. The premise was good but the stories felt rushed, even accounting for how short they were. Love at first sight is one thing but a virgin having sex with a man within hours of meeting and getting engaged in a matter of days is pushing it too far. Without giving anything away, some of the plot points we're so nonsensical that it became annoying. On the plus side, there's plenty of hot, steamy sex so if that's what you're into and don't require a lot of character or plot development, this book is for you.

This is wonderfully written, with a very captivating story line!!! I could not put the book down. Excellent read!

This story is good but not great.
I feel like many parts was kinda rush? I think it need to elaborate more. I like fast pace smutty book. But this is not it. Who fell in love and marry a guy that you meet a couple times?
There's so many hot scene like 80% of the book. The book that I like the most is the first one.

The Fighter Series - is 4 short stories/novellas that tell the story of the four main men at Pounders Gym. There is clearly a common theme with the books, big built guys, damsels in distress and babies, but there is enough difference that the stories hook you in and you continue to read.
I especially like the first story of Below the Belt with Tank & Anna and the third story Bare Knuckled with Thor & Natalie, they were the ones that had me not wanting to put my kindle down.
Monica's sharp whitty writing style is great to read and is defiantly an author I will look to read again.

Great series. I always love when the series is all together. Stories are very different from one another so it shows uniqueness and creativity within the series. Some of spots in the book seem a little slow pace and I found myself skimming over but I really wanted to get to the good stuff

Confession - I love me some smutty instalove. Add in a generous helping of alpha and I'm all aboard this train. I really enjoyed this collection but felt the stories could have been fleshed out a little bit more, given the couples just another day or two in the story would have been all that was needed to give the reader a bit more of a connection to the couples.

This was a new to me author and I see she's got a nice backlog that I will most definitely check out!

The Fighters series is a collection of four short novellas all centered around one gym. Below the belt, Full Contact, Bare Knuckled, and On the Ropes. These are about four separate couples, and you do not have to read anyone before the other to enjoy the books or follow in the series. However you probably should considering they are all right here. Tank, Dem, Thor, and Ryker are big, muscled, strong men who are Alpha males hell bent on keeping their mates protected. Each one of them have had their sights set on a woman of their own and when those women come to them in need in their own ways, they will stop at nothing to keep them safe and claim them for their own.

They were all pretty good, but I have to say I wanted more. The worse one for me was Below the Belt because of how fast everything went, that I wanted more build up. Dem and Chloe could have a whole series just for their story; Thor and Natalie have their own serious messed up mystery; and Ryker and Trina both have pasts that could have had a lot more build up to.

All in all it was good and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have arcs provided by netgalley.

I got this boxed set on a whim because hot guys with tattoos are my thing apparently. This series is a set of fur short insta-love novellas. Which I didn't realise before hand as I probably wouldn't have read them if I had known.

They were very quick steamy reads that I mostly enjoyed. The only thing I didn't really like was how short they were, I dealt with the Instalove scenario fine considering they're not my cup of tea, it was sweet, but they were so short and each story seemed shorter than the one before it which really sucked. They had a lot of potential to be full novels if the author chose to go that way. This is the only reason I rated it at 3 instead of 4 stars

This knowledge however won't stop me from trying to get my hands on the Mafia series when I can. They sound amazing and I'm a sucker for a bad boy

Do you like hot steamy scenes and insta love then these novellas are certainly your cup of tea. Each one is different yet the same....i enjoyed them

This was my first read from this author so I had no idea what to expect. These are four quick read novellas that, for me, were so completely ridiculous that I couldn't put them down. I don't mean that in a bad way, necessarily. They can definitely scratch that insta-love, over the top sexy alpha itch if that's what you're looking for. And when I say insta, I mean 20 minutes after meeting for the first time they're up against the wall. I liked the characters but found myself shaking my head at times.

This is not my usual genre; however, I did enjoy the four short stories about four ex-Boxers looking for more out of life than using their fists. These are basically Inst-love novellas and a make for quick, enjoyable and drama free reads.

4 Short Stories, 4 Ex-Boxers this time they are putting their hearts on the line instead of their fists.
Overall this was a good read. The stories were enjoyable for a quick insta-love read.
