Not my first read by this author, she is one of my top 3 favorite and first read authors also! AND I have read every single book by Aurora!! Book 1 was FAN-TAS-TIC and this one did not disappoint, the first one sets the tone and this one fits right in. Absolutely loved everything about it, the lightness or the read, the ROMANCE, the characters and even a little but of danger, everything went well together in a beautiful package.

Chrissie is a sweet character, as the heroine she really lives up to it. When she is out with her girls and ends up meeting a tall dark and OH SO SEXY man who she has no idea is…things start off a little FUNNY. She basically tells him TO LEAVE. But Gaston YES YES YES like the character from Beauty & The Beast is not a quitter or a man to shy away from things he wants. And he wants Chrissie who is a curvy, gorgeous and a spitfire. On the road to winning he rover there is a lot of beautiful moments, sexy moments, lots of laughter and heart and not to mention LeFou THE DOG!

A MUST READ!

I loved this book! I’ve never read a hero with the name Gaston, he was sweet to our heroine. I love the heroine. She strong yet vulnerable and I loved how hero treated her so gently. He was an amazing man and amazing son. He loved his mama so much.

I can’t wait to read more books in this series. Can’t we get Anna bell book next?

What can I say? I just love Aurora Rose Reynolds' Alpha guys. Whether in the Until Him/Her series, Fluke of my Life series, the Underground Kings series and now the How to catch an Alpha series. The guys are always swooning hot and they go straight for the girl. Makes all your girly parts giggle, I swear.
In Baiting him we meet Gaston with his little dog Le Fou (yes really... for a diehard Disney fan like me this is just hilarious). As a rich and hot owner of a nightclub, he isn't used to be ignored by a woman. And that is exactly what Chrissie is doing. She is busy setting up her own bakery. After years of saving, she has opened up her own cupcake bakery. So she doesn't have time for men. When she meets Gaston at the bachelorette party of Leah (yeah, from Catching Him), she doesn't realize he is the owner of the club where they are partying.
When she turns him down flat, he is determined to show her that he means business. Because Gaston is used to getting his way and now his sights are set on her. Will Chrissie be swept of her feet by the villain of the village? Or maybe there is something good beneath the harsh exterior. Find out for yourself in this swoonworthy cute romance. I'm eagerly awaiting Hooking Him, the next book in this series. Well done, Arurora! Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

The second in a series you don't have to read in order, but it certainly helps!

Chrissie inadvertently attractions the attention of Gaston... he is not used to women blowing him off and the woman that does intrigues him.

This was a light read made all the more entertaining by Gaston's slightly cruel mother (se Disney inspired name) made even worse by giving him a small poofball of a dog that only answers to LeFou!

I loved this book! Gus was so dreamy and swoony. Aurora always writes great characters and Chrissie was amazing. Highly recommend!

Baiting Him started out good but left me wanting more. More depth, more realistic romance, more action, more drama. Gaston, the hero of the novel felt too good to be true. Even if he had no flaws there was still no tension. The heroine felt one dimensional and I had no clue why the hero fell in love with her. I really felt there was no character development which impacted how I interpreted the character relationship.

Chrissie and Gaston are wonderful characters. I love Chrissie how she gets flustered around Gaston and rambles. Gaston is a strong man who is sure of himself and what he wants and goes after it.

This story grabbed me from the get go and I didn’t look back! Loved this story!

Chrissy’s life consists of one thing, her bakery and it leaves little time for anything else. While celebrating her friend’s upcoming nuptials at a night club she encounters the club’s owner Gus. The two engage in a witty exchange and have an instant attraction to each other that has Gus seeking her out in the days that follow. Convinced this guy is way out of her league, Chrissy takes a chance and goes out with Gus. The result…a sweet, funny, cute, falling in love story.

Things seem to move along quickly but it works. There was instant connection with the characters and the chemistry there. There was something about these characters that was really relatable.
Quick, fun, hot cocoa-by the fire read for a snowy Saturday.

Very cute upbeat, left me smiling the entire time. Loved reading it. Well written, highly entertaining and very realistic settings. Story told like you are actually there observing it all happening first hand. Emotions realistic, intense and free flowing. The chemistry is realistic leaving you wanting it it your own life.

4.25⭐

Baiting Him was a sweet, low angst, engaging, enjoyable story. That sucked me in from the very start. Thanks to likable characters, who shared lots of chemistry and a well developed plot line. That was very easy to read, not to mention entertaining, and I would happily recommend it to others.

Loving the continuation of this series! This author continues to amuse me with these characters and their storylines – cue Gaston and his puppy Lefou! Chrissie and Gaston meet and she’s the first woman to not fall all over him, and it intrigues him enough to track her down and seek her out to attempt to get to know each other better. Hesitant at first, Chrissie finally lets her walls down and they eventually embark on a relationship that lasts a lifetime. I love that this storyline focuses on their time as a couple while handling difficult things that typically happen within a relationship and have them work through them. That alone makes this book somewhat more realistic than others. As always I love Aurora’s storylines combined with her characters, and while this one didn’t have any suspense or crazy aspects of it, it was just as enjoyable as the others! Can’t wait for the next installment in this series!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

A great easy read in this series. Definitely an insta love storyline. Alpha male warning and chemistry galore.

This story is a sweet, uncomplicated RomCom.

Sometimes you’re in the mood for a 3 day long deep dive into a super complicated, angsty drama, sometimes you’re not. This was one of those times where all I wanted was a few hours of sweet, predictable RomCom. This book delivered. 100%.

The characters are so.. tropey. No, that’s not a word, I’m sorry. But they are! They are so, perfectly typical. Chrissy is a bakery owner, and of course, Gaston is a super rich bar / nightclub owner. She’s a little timid, he’s a little pushy. It’s perfect. If I were in a different mood when I read this book, I might have eye rolled the whole time. However, It’s Christmas, Everything in life is chaotic. Sweet and simple is what I was in the mood for.

If you are in the mood for a good, quick, fun escape, grab a copy of this story.

Chrissie was fun in Leah and Tyler's story and was a great leading last in Baiting Him. Chrissie is strong, independent, and successful. Not thinking she has time for a man or much to offer, she blows Gaston off when he initially speaks to her. Thankfully he doesn't give up that easy.

Gaston knows all about success and running your own business. He also knows what he wants and goes after it, namely Chrissie.

I loved these two together. Great, natural fit for one another and maneuvering daily life and family and work dramas.

Great read.

I loved this story!

This one stayed true to Aurora Rose Reynolds' usual writing tone and dedication to the HEA.

I enjoyed the storyline and getting both Chrissie and Gaston's perspectives.

The writing was good. The characters were lovable. The ending left me satisfied.

I'd definitely read this again.

Chrissie is always busy with her bakery and the business of baking. One night while out celebrating her friend’s bachelorette party she meets Gaston (yes like the villain in Beauty and the Beast). Gaston is super hot and funny so she turns him away when he advanced thinking it wouldn’t work. Luckily Gaston (or Gus as he likes robe called) is not deterred and romances her with flowers. Theirs is an instaromance with this plenty of heat but lots of super, soft romance too. Gus is not the typical alpha male and his sweet side is the stuff of dreams. This is a nice quick and sweet romance with plenty of hot scenes. Another great book by this author. I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review. 5 stars

There isn’t a book that I don’t love by Aurora Rose Reynolds. She has that 'magic touch' that captures the mind of the reader. I loved Gaston and Chrissie’s story from start to finish, I didn’t want it to end. As always, I highly recommend reading this book! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love this author and she did not disappoint. This novel grabbed my interest and did not let go until the very last page. I loved Chrissie and Gaston. I loved the dialogue and the banter. I love when a novel sucks you in and you just can't stop reading. This novel did this for me and checked all of my boxes. I loved the chemistry between Chrissie and Gaston.

This was an okay read for me. I might have enjoyed it more had I liked Chrissie. She just cried and whined a little too much for me. I thought Gaston was awesome and he gets bonus stars for putting up with Chrissie and all her tears. The “mystery” in the story was super easy to figure out, which was disappointing. Overall, this was not a great read but it was not terrible either.
