Pearl Goes to Preschool is an absolutely beautiful picture book about a little girl and her mother. The two do everything together. Young Pearl has grown up at her mother's dance school, and she isn't sure if she is ready to try a new school. Through the patience and kindness of her mother, Pearl slowly learns about what preschool will be like. She decides she is ready to go.

Pearl Goes to Preschool is a sweet story that will help any little one with their big transition to school. The message was simple and gently told. In addition, the illustrations were soft and just stunning. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking into the transition to preschool.

Cute story about Pearl, the child of a dancer who has begin attending preschool despite initial reservations. It's a sweet story that should appeal to children getting ready for school themselves, although most are unlikely to get the referential jokes to various ballet characters and terminology
