A fun and cozy mystery, I enjoyed the setting and the character a lot. Will definitely recommend to my fellow cozy mystery lovers.

Charlotte Finn inherited her Great Uncle’s farm and moves from Chicago to California to make her claim. She must make a hard decision, whether she will keep or sell the family stead. While Charlotte is trying to assess the lay of the land, the body of a young man is found on the farm. It seems another Finn family member may have a claim to the farm and Charlotte and her childhood friends, Diane and Beau, have some things to figure out.

A cute first entry in a new series. I couldn’t help but feel like this was a cozy with a dash of Green Acres and Charlotte’s Web sprinkled in. Instead of a couple leaving the big city for country life, we have a single woman. We have an adorable pig but instead of a spider, we have a ladybug. It all works though and you find your inner child fulfilled with an adult version of life on the farm.

A solid mystery in a promising new series. There lots of red herrings and suspects that will keep you changing your mind about everyone and make you hope no long lost family members are hiding in your family tree.
