I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion. Once I started reading this, I couldn’t put it down and unfortunately it kept me up way too late at night! This book is full of many twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the very end. I really enjoyed Kate White’s writing style and can’t wait to read another book by her.

I think I expected more out of this book and almost got an anxiety reading this book, which I realize is the point of the book. It wasn’t as interesting as I believe it could’ve been a written with a little more excitement than dread.

Ally London’s morning started like a normal morning, she arrived for work early and was ready to get caught up after some time away inky to learn she hadn’t worked there for years. Something has happened to Ally and she has no memory of the last few days. Is her memory loss linked to a trauma she experienced as a child or something that happened during the time she can’t remember. Ally has more questions than answers and her life may depend on remembering what happened to her.

I have always enjoyed Kate White’s books and Have You Seen Me is no exception. White’s characters are strong women who know how to handle their own problems and she creates interesting worlds of mystery, intrigue and danger. This is a must read for anyone who enjoys a well written, thoughtful story. I can’t wait for White’s next release and highly recommend that you check out Have You Seen Me.

This book is amazing! I couldn’t stop reading it. I binged read it in a day. From the very first page I was sucked in. There are twists and turns. This hardly ever happens, but I was totally shocked when the mystery of Ally’s missing time is revealed. The writing is just phenomenal! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

ANY book that grips the reader in at the start is for me!

Immediately, I was hooked in when Ally arrived to work and her former boss tells her that she hadn't worked there for 5 years. Ally passes out and then is brought to the hospital in an ambulance. At the hospital, some things come back: her husband, Hugh, where she lives, and her career. However, she has no recollection of how or why she arrived at her former place of work! And more...

A superbly written book by a new author (to me). I definitely will be looking for more stories by Kate White !

Many Thanks to HarperCollins, Publishers and NetGalley for a suspenseful, intense read!

I gave this 4 stars mainly because it’s Kate White and I’ve been a Kate a White fan since Bailey Wiggins in fact that’s one of my favorite series even some of White’s other stand alone are some of my favorites. This book however just didn’t work for me the plot was a little boring and just never climaxed. Ally was a annoying and some of the other key players just felt like they didn’t fit. The back story of the little girl Jaycee I didn’t see where she came into play. For me this was more of a 2.5-3 read but I love Kate White so she gets a star on her own.

Thanks to Netgalley for my advanced ebook copy.

From the first page of this thriller, I was hooked into a suspenseful and intriguing book! I could not stop reading—thrillers dealing with memory loss seem to have an even more intense aspect to them because you just DON’T know who can be trusted! I could not stop reading once I started and it is one of my favorite books in recent times!

Read the blurb below:
'On a cold, rainy morning, finance journalist Ally Linden arrives early to work in her Manhattan office, only to find that she’s forgotten her keycard and needs to have a colleague she’s never met let her in. When her boss finally arrives, he seems surprised to see her—because she hasn’t worked there in five years.

Ally knows her name, but little else, and it’s only after several hours in an emergency room and multiple interviews with the hospital psychiatrist that she begins to piece together important facts: she lives on the Upper West Side; she’s now a freelance personal finance journalist; she’s married to a lovely man named Hugh. But she still can’t recall what happened to her during the previous two days. When she learns that she’s experienced a dissociative fugue state, Ally tries to think of triggers and remembers that she’d been seeing a therapist about a traumatic event from her childhood, in which she came across evidence for a murder that was never solved.'

How absolutely intriguing the premise is? I was so excited to read this and couldn't wait to devour it when I received a digital ARC and it started off really well.. I was hooked waiting to read what happens in the protagonist, Ally's life and how she deals with it. However, the more I read the more distant I felt. The story stopped weaving any kind of intrigue. Infact I started getting a bit annoyed at the play out.

Was expecting so much more but unfortunately this did not work for me. I was hoping and waiting for it to pick since I had read so many amazing reviews but nope, it did not pick up. At least not for me. I needed way more explanations than what was given. Don't like criticising a book endlessly so won't say anything more.
Maybe it's me. Maybe others will enjoy it more.

It's a 2.5 stars for me which I'm rounding off to 3.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for sending me a Digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.

It's a very confusing story with not a lot of suspense. I am a huge fan of twists and turns and this one left me a little disappointed.

Thank you Harper and Netgalley for the opportunity to preview this thriller. And Kate White has hit it out of the park again.

Finance blogger Alley Linden goes to work one morning and discovers she doesn’t have her key to the door. When she finally meets up with her old boss, she discovers she hasn’t worked there for five years. After some time in the hospital, her husband takes her home. But she can’t stand not knowing where she was when she was missing for the last 48 hours.

I loved everything about this book – the beginning which was attention-grabbing, the possibilities of who might have committed a crime and what that crime even was and Ally’s dynamic personality. This is one of White’s best work and I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this book, I love being surprised by a twist! I never guessed the ending - and I ALWAYS guess the ending. Kate White crafted an interesting story, with really good relatable characters. Admittedly there were some twists that didn't make a ton of sense to me but that definitely played into my inability to predict the ending.

Four solid stars and an enthusiastic recommendation to lovers of the Domestic Thriller.

Many thanks to NetGalley, Kate White, and Harper Collins Publishers for providing me with an advance copy.

Kate White is a wonderful story teller. Her most recent thriller, Have You Seen Me, will have you guessing until the end. Ally, a journalist, arrives at her office early one morning to be told that she hasn't worked there in years. She realizes she is having trouble remembering her past and her head is aching. She ends up passing out and spends the rest of her day in the emergency room. Memories instantly flood back, all but the last two days. Her doctor thinks her disassociate state may be related to a past trauma. Kate is desperate to figure out how she spent her last two days. What secrets will she find out and who can she trust? I highly recommend this novel to anyone who loves a fast paced psychological thriller.

Imagine showing up to work in an office you haven't been to for 5 years. Then discovering you've 'missing' for 2 whole days and you have no memories of the time. Otherwise healthy, who can you trust? Ally Linden finds herself in the office of a former coworker (and lover) who is extremely surprised to see her - she has no purse or phone and appears disheveled. Then she passes out.
Waking up in the hospital, pieces of her life come back, but not anything from the past 2 days. She know she needs help to rebuild her memories, but who can she trust? Her best friend, her husband, her therapist, her brother AND the ex-boyfriend all have differing perspectives on the 2 days and she even hires a private investigator. Along the way, she remembers something from her past that she's afraid has implications in a cold case murder, but what set off the memories?
This stand-alone psychological thriller is another great book by Kate White. I highly recommend it!

Well, meh. Book was so good up until the last few chapters. Also, a bit overdone on the NYC vibe.

Thanks NetGalley for the arc.

Ally loses three days of her life after an argument with her husband. She hires a detective to help her find what triggered her fugue state, and what she did during that time. This a very emotional and well written story with lots of unexpected twists that kept my interest through the entire book. You can’t help but like Ally and cheer her along in her quest for closure. Several times I thought I’d figured out what happened to her, but the ending is totally unexpected! Anyone who likes a good mystery would like this book. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own.

The book begins with Ally arriving at work one morning, but she has forgotten her key card. When coworkers start to arrive they are surprised to see her because she has not worked there for five years. This begins a journey throughout the book for Ally to fill in the blanks of a fugue state that she was in for two days. While trying to solve the mystery of the missing days she starts to realize that something from her past could have played a part and that what happened in the missing days could put her in danger. This was a book that sucked me in from the start and I couldn’t stop reading. There were so many red herrings in the mystery that kept you guessing. I’m giving it only 4 stars because I felt the ending could have been so much stronger considering how the rest of the book played out.
