This book follows two main storylines. Shay, who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and Cassandra and Jane. Both storylines interact with each other in a chilling way that makes you think, “Who can you really trust?” This book was really well done.

I enjoyed this. not my favorite of Greer and Sarah's books (The Wife Between Us is one of my all time faves), but it was entertaining

After loving The Wife Between Us but not An Anonymous Girl I thought I'd give these authors 1 more chance. Alas, I think I'm going to pass on any more of their books. This story of Shay who witnesses a woman jumping to her death from a subway platform became so boring I almost gave up several times. Shay gets entangled with two evil sisters who were steps ahead of the clueless Shay the entire time until coincidentally she gets a clue at the end. I didn't buy it and I found all the characters one dimensional and the plot built on coincidences that were pretty obvious

I though this was an average mystery thriller. There was nothing that really stood out to me.

I received an ARC of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Shay Miller lives in NY and has a less than ideal life - and then she witnesses the suicide of a young woman in the subway She finds out her name - Amanda - and becomes interested in knowing Amanda's background and starts learning about her life and friends. She goes to a memorial for Amanda where she meets Cassandra and Jane Moore, sisters who were friends with Amanda. She develops a relationship with them and they seem very interested in Shay, who welcomes the attention and friendliness because she carries feelings of loneliness. What follows is a game of cat and mouse that will keep you guessing until the end - I didn't see it coming!
Thanks to Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen, St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the ARC.

This was a really great twisty novel! Shay is a statistics obsessed loner who works temp jobs and has a thing for her roommate who I dating someone else. It only gets worse when she is inadvertently witness to a woman’s suicide. She tries to deal with seeing that death by finding out more about the woman. At a memorial for her she meets two sisters who seem to have it all together, they click and the three of them become friends. Once she has friend’s life seems to turn and get so much better, until things start to not add up.

I really enjoyed the authors' previous two books, and was looking forward to this one. But it's more frustrating than compelling for me. Clearly the sisters are playing with Shay's life--and many others'--but I wanted to know why much earlier.

A nonstop psychological thriller that will keep you turning pages until the very last page! Although I really liked this book, it did seem to take a long time to wrap things up. Otherwise great book.

You Are Not Alone had me completely hooked. I couldn't read fast enough to try and figure out how this story would end! Great story line once again from Hendricks and Pekkanen!!

Sometimes two isn’t better than one.

Which is a disappointing conclusion when one-half of this story's authors is that of The Wife Between Us and Anonymous Girl. You Are Not Alone is not BAD by any means, but the story feels too familiar and the twist just not twisty enough.

You Are Not Alone has a very different meaning once you start reading the book. The thriller presented in this story seems so outrageous that in this current word, it is also scarily believable. What if you witnessed a suicide and somehow got yourself caught up in a lifestyle that you thought you wanted/deserved but never expected you would have it? Could it be a wrong place, wrong time type of situation? Or just a string of bad luck?

Shay Miller is your typical lonely single. She looking for love, friendship and a fulfilling job. In walks the captivating Moore sisters who seem to have the solutions for all of her wants. But is it too good to be true.

It's easy to get wrapped into the orbit of those who seem like they have it all. And while it might be exciting at the time, it's not always what's best for you. Shay finds herself in some pretty crazy situations. And although she is desperate, she still remains true to herself which I think is a very important lesson here. Don't just follow the popular crowd because you think it's the right crowd.

You Are Not Alone was a fast paced, question provoking, who did it and what the heck is going on type of book! This is the third book I’ve read by this dynamic duo and will read more for sure.

Shay Miller is a little lost and looking for both love and success. After an unfortunate event she finds herself the new friend, or is it project, of the Moore sisters and their hodge podge group of friends. At first it’s hard to know why this mix is a group at all but as the story unfolds and the plot thickens the connection because evident. Shay will do anything to fit in with these new friends and before she realizes what is happening she begins to lose herself. Can she find her true path before it’s too late?

I did not see the conclusion coming at all. I thought all along that it was evident and I was a little disappointed but man was I wrong. You Are Not Alone is a mystery but not really a thriller. I recommend this to those that love a good mystery and story of finding yourself.

I gave this 4 stars.

Thank you Netgalley and St. Martin’s Press for the advanced readers copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

I liked the concept of this, but the end sort of ruined it. The ending was really tidy and the twist was unsatisfying. No big “OMG!” moments. It felt a little too unrealistic to really captivate me, unfortunately. #netgalley

I was given this book by netgalley as an arc in exchange for my honest opinion. I wanted desperately to like this book and unfortunately it fell very flat for me. While the synopsis sounded amazing I just couldn't get into it and struggled to finish.

4.5 stars! A whirlwind of manipulation, tension, twists and suspense!

This was excellent entertainment! I was hooked (actually addicted) to this storyline from start to finish!

Shay Miller’s social life isn’t what she wishes it was. She longs to find a job she loves, a circle of friends to rely on and be in a committed relationship. When she meets the successful and somewhat glamorous Moore sisters, she can’t believe how easily they build a friendship. But nothing is quite as it seems....

I loved this book! It was a fast-paced, tension-filled, edgy, gripping, secretive, twisty, compulsively readable and highly suspenseful thrilling novel. I could not figure out what was going on and it kept me flipping the pages well past my bedtime.

There are many questionable parts of this storyline that are unrealistic yet I accepted them and fully enjoyed how they played into the plot. That says A LOT about the writing which kept me gripped, intrigued and on edge for the entire book. Usually any realm of unrealistic territory throws me off and ruins a book for me, but not with this one. I was so absorbed in the storyline and characters lives that I didn’t have time to sit back and (over)analyze the reality of the situation. The clever twists and turns had me shocked and in high anticipation of what would come next.

Thank you to NetGalley and St Martin’s Press for the review copy! Thank you to my lovely local library for the loan of the physical copy!

Shay wants to belong, and gets drawn in by two other women after she witnesses a suicide. With a plot that goes from a woman who wants to better herself, to the terror of realizing she herself may be the next victim, this is a compelling read. The characterizations and descriptions of the motives of her tormentors, who at first seem like real friends, are superb. This is an excellent thriller.

Shay is lost and is looking for some direction in her life. She wants love, happiness and a better job (don't we all ;)). She meets Cassandra and Jane and they turn her world upside down. She suddenly thinks that they will help her achieve and acquire all of her wants. Pay attention as you read, if you do not, you will miss the clues and you will drive yourself even more crazy along all of the crazy twists!!!

This is a great psychological thriller that kept me guessing right up to the last page. Really good character development and a satisfying intertwining of circumstances that all comes together in the end.
