Thank you so much for the amazing opportunity to read this book! I love Hendricks and Pekkanen and have enjoyed all three books by them thus far. I do think this was my favorite! It started on the slower side as I wasn’t entirely sure how things were linking together, but I ended up totally engaged and consumed by it. I read the last half of the book in one sitting! Can’t wait to recommend to friends.

I’m having a bit of a hard time reviewing this one. I have enjoyed every novel that Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen have written, perhaps with this one being my least favourite. This one fell a bit short for me with a lot of unrealistic moments. The beginning seemed promising, but I found myself skipping through the end because it became a bit much.

I went from absolutely loving to absolutely hating certain characters over the course of the book, which I imagine was the intent.

**Rounded down from 4.5

I have now read all three of the novels that these two women have written together and, although I have enjoyed each, this was without a doubt my favorite. I love that Hendricks and Pekkanen always put out stories featuring strong-minded women and this was no exception. I have gotten fairly used to their novels revolving around a toxic/abusive romantic relationship but this one took on a whole new plot and did it WONDERFULLY. I cannot really go into any details without ruining important parts of the story, so I will simply say that this is my favorite story line that they have produced. The suspense was killing me throughout the entire thing; Hendricks and Pekkanen are extremely skilled in building up tension at that perfect moments through their words. Even though certain "twists" become apparent early on, I was truly not expecting that ending and I LOVED it. The one critique I had while reading was that it became a little difficult to keep up with all of the women (and POVs) at times just because there were so many, but overall, the story flowed really well and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

This was probably my least favorite of the authors' books, but still so good and enthralling. I will read anything they write!!

Let me begin this review with stating that this is by far my favorite Greer Hendricks novel to date! So much fun!

Shay Miller is just your every day average woman trying to make it in NYC. She has a less than satisfying job and she lives with a room mate that she is secretly in love with and has to endure his girlfriends giggles in the next room making home the last place she wants to be.

While waiting at a train platform one day the unthinkable happens. She witnesses a lovely young woman jump to her death and the vision haunts her waking and sleeping hours. She becomes nearly obsessed with finding out about this woman. After hearing about a memorial service for her she decides she will attend and here she is introduced to the Moore sisters.

Never have you ever met sisters like these before.

From here a cat and mouse game ensues that is a devilish delight to read about. You sort of know what's happening as the story unfolds but to witness it all come together is nothing short of fantastic. 4 stars!

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for providing me with a digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.

While I did not like this one quite as much as the duo’s two previous works, I could not put it down. The twist was not nearly as shocking as those I have come to expect from them, but it was still good.

Shay, a young woman trying to make a life in NYC, witnesses a tragic suicide in a Manhattan subway station. Shattered by this experience as well as her crumbling social life, she is serendipitously rescued by a glamorous pair of sisters who take her under their wing. They help her remake her appearance, her career, and her social life. Or so she thinks until she realizes she is being expertly manipulated into taking the fall for a crime she absolutely did not commit. Great twists, great turns, intriguing characters. And Shay is nobody’s fool, after all. Enjoy the ride!

I loved every minute of this book! The characters, the pacing, the switch and bait, the action! There is quite literally not a dull moment in the story. Thank you again Netgalley and St. Martin’s press for this fabulous ARC by this powerhouse duo!

I was so excited to get an ARC of this book, because I read An Anonymous Girl by the same authors and loved it. This book was even better and drew me in from the first page. The characters were all so interesting and the story-well I can't describe it without giving stuff away. The writing was amazing and will keep you turning pages long into the night. (I stayed up until 2am on a work night!)

Wow! I'm not sure how two authors can collaborate on such a seamless, intricate story, yet somehow they've done it again! I was so excited to get an advanced copy of this book from Netgalley and immediately dove right in. I was a huge fan of their previous books, The Wife Between Us and An Anonymous Girl, so my expectations were high, but reserved. This story begins with the main character, Shay, a 30-something New Yorker in-between jobs and boyfriends, witnessing a horrific accident on the subway tracks. Consumed by guilt by not doing more to prevent the accident and haunted by the sight of seeing someone killed, Shay uses her knack for statistics and research to learn more about this anonymous woman, even attending her memorial service. It is here where Shay's life takes a dramatic turn when she's introduced to Cassandra and Jane, two highly influential sisters who are friends of the deceased and come to Shay's rescue just when she needs friendship the most. There's a variety of characters making up this book and each chapter flips between each of the women, carefully divulging a little nugget of information. You soon begin to realize all of these friendships are not by accident, but an orchestrated group pent on revenge and vigilantism. There is so much more to this book and sharing anymore would be too much. I read this book cover to cover in under 2 days and was still thinking about afterward. Add this book to your TBR and mark your calendar for its release date on March 31, 2020. This book is a must read!!

You Are Not Alone is the latest thriller by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen. The authors bring us the story going back and forth in time and from different points of view. Hendricks and Pekkanen make an excellent writing team, giving the reader edge of the seat moments that will keep your heart pounding. I want to thank Net Galley and St. Martin's Press for the early copy to review.

I absolutely love these authors and could not have been excited to read this book! It was an incredibly engaging, suspenseful and fast-paced book. If you are a fan of either of these authors’ other books, you will definitely enjoy it! That being said, I was a little surprised (in a disappointing way) about a “big twist” near the end, as it didn’t quite seem to fit with the rest of the book and made the storyline a little more confusing. However, I still overall loved this book!

I was very excited to read this novel as I am a fan of the authors and it did not disappoint. The pace and writing were perfect. The characters and mysteries were engaging and the final twist left me gasping.

You Are Not Alone is another great suspense thriller by the authors Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen. If you liked The Wife Between Us and An Anonymous Girl, then you are sure to enjoy reading this. It’s a story of lies and deception, murder and revenge. Although I felt it started off a little slow, once I got into it, I couldn’t put it down. I actually think this is probably my favorite of all of their books. I feel these authors must have really vivid imaginations to come up with such great, original storylines. One aspect that I appreciate about their writing is the short chapters that are told from the different characters points of view. It seems to make things move along at a faster pace. I’d like to thank NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the e-arc to read and review. It was an entertaining story and one I recommend to other readers of this genre. All opinions stated here are my own. I rate this at 4 stars.

Not a bad story. A witness to a suicide suddenly finds herself unable to go back to the train station. She also finds herself being sought out and accepted into a friendship of sorts with the friends of the woman who died. She feels strongly attached to the woman and the life she led before deciding to end it all. Renting her old apartment, tracking down her mother, etc. are how she keeps busy while looking for a job.

I was interested in how it all tied together, but at about the 3/4 mark, I found recaps of what had happened, who said what, to be unnecessary and annoying. It also happened in almost every chapter. I did enjoy the writing and the story line until that started making me think that pay was something earned per word. I also thought the research she put into finding James/Trey's story was a bit out of line!

Overall, a good story, maybe a 3.8 stars Thank you NetGalley for an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review

Shay Miller's life is about to get worse, much worse. She has lost her job, and her roommate's new girlfriend wants her gone. Not exactly the life she planned and she is struggling to get back on track. One morning, as Shay waits for the subway, she witnesses a suicide, and it hits her like a ton of bricks. Obsessing over the victim, Amanda Evinger, and wondering what she could have done to prevent this tragedy, she attends a memorial service to learn more about Amanda. She meets Amanda's close friends, Cassandra and Jane, and she just can't believe that anyone who had friends like this would take her own life.
To Shay, these women have it all. Looks, money, style, and high powered careers, and she cannot help wishing that these were her friends. But Cassandra and Jane have an agenda, and it might not involve making Shay their new best friend. Chapters alternate between Shay and Cassandra and Jane. Every chapter provides another little piece of the puzzle, but the authors are clever, and those pieces didn't come together as I imagined.
A fast-paced story with a New York city backdrop that kept me guessing until the end. I may have stayed up late to finish, but I just couldn't wait to uncover all the secrets and lies.

If you’re anything like me, you’ll get sucked into this plot just like Cassandra and Jane sucked Shay into their world. Unfortunately, I was waiting for the “Oh my gosh!” moment that The Wife Between Us had, and it never came. Even when we find out the truth about each of the characters, my reaction wasn’t near the surprise I had with TWBU. It’s a good read, but nowhere near the thriller I was expecting.
