Wow! This was a very fast read, I didn’t want to put it down. You just wanted to get to the end to find out what the sisters really wanted with Shay. I could definitely see this book turn into a movie. Thank you NetGalley for the advanced copy.

I'm going to be a bit evasive so I don't spoil anything!

I imagine it's hard to read YOU ARE NOT ALONE by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen & not be sucked in. Right off the bat, something wild & scary happens. It's intense, unexpected & sets the stage for a thrill ride. Like, what is going on?

We meet these women, there's three to start & later we meet more. Honestly, it's a tiny bit hard to keep everyone straight, But, the authors shine here because they give us just enough tidbits to differentiate the women. Thank you for that!

Shay is having a rough time. I have ZERO patience for weak & unreliable female characters in thrillers. I will say Shay got on my nerves at times. Overall, I felt something for her. I wanted to see what happened to her in the story.

I love the alternating perspectives of the women and I love the time jumps between past & present. Yes, it might seem like a lot, but the authors pull it off. Throughout reading YOU ARE NOT ALONE, I'm intrigued, curious & trying to piece it all together.

I didn't guess the ending & I think this is a book thriller & suspense fans will connect with. There's definitely creepy vibes that will keep you turning the pages late at night.

Special thanks to St. Martin's Press for our gifted review copy.

I received this book free from Net Galley for an honest review. Out of all the books these two authors have written together I would say this one is my favorite. I couldn't put it down. However because I anticipated a hard core twist in the book, I was slightly disappointed in the ending. The book kept you wondering what would happen next. And the characters where distinct enough that you weren't confused in who's voice was speaking. It's a good read for sure, and like I said I liked it better then some of the other ones. I felt more invested in the characters to find out what would happen next.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It grabbed me from the start and didn’t let go. A rollercoaster of a ride! These authors never disappoint.

I might have squealed A LITTLE BIT when I received an email with this ARC from St. Martin's Press. I may have been on an street in NYC when this happened - which, coincidentally, is where our story takes place.

I was between 4 and 5 stars - mostly due to some more outlandish plot twists - but there has to be some suspension of disbelief - in life and in art - so 5 stars it is.

There's not much I can say about this book without giving too much away. There is an unreliable first-person narrator -Shay- and a slew of even less reliable characters who surround her. You're not exactly pulling for Shay at first, but you're not NOT pulling for her either, and in the end you do hope she prevails.

What I can say without giving too much away - Hendricks and Pekkanen are fantastic at tapping into one particular theme - loneliness, especially when surrounded by millions of people in a vast, fast-moving city like NYC. What does it mean to feel alone, and what will you do to belong?

You Are Not Alone by Greer Hendricks . and Sarah Peklanen is a well written fasinating and psoycholical mystery. The story revolves around several main characters and their relatiionships. Shay, the maiin character, wittnesses a young woman, Amanda, who seems to throw herself in front of incoming train. She is . killled imediately. Shay soon afterwards becomes involved with Jane and Cassandra two sisters who claim to be friends of Armanda. They continually reach out to Shay and appear to be making her resemble Amanda. Shay has few good friends and is pleased that Jane and Cassanrdra want to be her friend. The police have been questioning Shay as well since she was there whenAmanda threw herself in front of the train.
the tension is the book . increase as Shay feels . unsure of herself and her sudden relationship with Jane and Cassandra.

I am speechless. I cannot believe that Greer and Sarah have written a thriller better than their first two combined. Shay is a nice, normal young woman who just can’t seem to get a break. She is on her way to the subway one morning and stops and takes time to put her hair up in a ponytail. 22 seconds is all it takes but that is enough for her to arrive at the subway platform just as the train pulls away. It is then that she sees another woman who also just missed the train. As the next train approaches she watches in horror as the woman jumps to her death. 22 seconds is all it takes for Shay’s nightmare to begin; only she doesn’t yet know what a nightmare it will become. You will not be able to put this one down so don’t start it until you have time to read it straight through.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review

This is my 3rd book by this writing duo, and I already can't wait for the 4th. This book was fast paced, clever, page turning and I could not put it down. Unlike many "thrillers"...this one really was. Read it!

This book follows the author's style of being a compelling psychologcal thriller! I read the book in one sitting because I needed to know how it ended and why the plot took the turns that it did. There were points where I thought I had it all figured out, but the clues were slowly unraveled until the end, where it all came together in a spectacular fashion.
