This is a sweet, entertaining romance. Tucker and Gillian’s stories are great. I look forward to reading more of the books in this series.

Gillian and Tucker just keep things moving a long in this series of redemption. The back and forth goes a long way for the romance that happens with all the will she wont she and the does he or does'nt he. And old friends join the fray as well.

First book from this author. Really enjoyed it – lighthearted, entertaining, fun read. The chemistry between Tucker and Gillian is sizzling hot. Adore the hero – ex-military, kind, caring, patience, sexy as sin. The heroine takes some warming up to do for me. I had a hard time connecting with her. Thankfully Tucker has patience of a saint. I enjoyed the plot – family oriented, friendship, redemption, and the heartwarming small-town romance.

This is a wonderfully written book. I enjoyed reading this book and was totally engrossed by the storyline. Tucker and Gillian have so much personal growth through this book. Eternity Springs is the setting for this charming, multi-talented family to bring life, fun and happiness to family members as well as the community and make the reader want to be part of the family!

Great follow up to Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas-Jackson. This book can be read as a stand-alone or as part of the series. It is a good story of how a woman scorned can overcome trust issues. I read this as an ARC from Netgalley and the publisher, and this is my honest review.

I was invited to read and review this book, and it is my first book by this author. “Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas: Tucker” is book two in a series. I don’t think missing book one made book two any less of its own story.

The story was fine, a sweet romance with a bit of spice. The two leads were believable, but some of the secondary characters felt a bit two-dimensional. The plot was good and moved along at a medium pace. It kept my attention for the most part.

Overall,. I think the cast list is too crowded and the transitions between the points-of-view were not always as smooth as they could have been.

This is part of the Eternity Springs series but could easily be read as a stand alone. The story is about Gillian and Tucker. Gillian owns a bridal shop with her Mother. She is engaged to Jeremy and her wedding is weeks away when Jeremy breaks up with her. Tucker has had his eye on Gillian from the minute he saw her and now he has a chance. I loved Tucker, he was a true gentleman with the patience of an angel. He needs it! Gillian can’t make up her mind and frustrated me. In the end, as expected in a romance book, things work out. Such a cute book. I couldn’t put it down. I loved Tucker to pieces. He was such a perfect mix of hot alpha and levelheaded individual. I think reading book 1 first would have helped me follow along with characters who were clearly already introduced, however, it didn’t ruin the read whatsoever. My only gripe was when I got to the point where I wanted to yell at Gillian to wake the hell up but fortunately it was just a small blip in the timeline.

This is the second book in the 'McBrides of Texas' series.

During this novel, in reference to other family members, it is obvious that there have been other cousins who have found their HEAs. This is no way detracts from the story of Tucker and Gillian.

This is an easy, entertaining read that takes little effort to enjoy. It's quite refreshing actually to have read a complete novel and to have not experienced an explicit sex scene.

All in all an easy post holiday read to start off 2020!

Tucker is on his motorcycle on his way home to Redemption Texas. He has retired from the Army after many years of a successful career. He is not sure what his future holds, but he knows when he gets to Redemption, his cousins, Jackson and Boone, will help him figure it out.

He meets Gillian by the side of a back country road. She had an accident, and is walking but has no idea where she is going. She has thrown a hissy fit and now is not prepared for her immediate situation. She is walking a distance in high heels with no phone service and not sure of her destination.

Tucker is immediately attracted to her.

Gillian is engaged to Jeremy. I am not sure how she could not see that he is a snake. It was evident that he had all the integrity of a Texas tarantula.

When her life goes into a tailspin, she turns to Tucker for his support and friendship. But, she does not trust him, nor does she really like him very much.

I became irritated with Gillian. On one hand she wanted Tucker to do what she needed him to do for her, she teased him and then she would tell him to back off. She justifies everything because she has been hurt. For Gillian, a wedding seemed to be much more important than the resulting marriage.

Although Tucker had retired from the Army and was in a position of responsibility, he is a very patient man. In the past, he was the one who was giving orders, now he allows Gillian to walk all over him. I would have liked it much better if every now and then he stomped around and shouted.

Gillian is an intelligent woman who is very driven toward success. She is not afraid of hard work to get what she wants. She is loyal to friends and family.

Tucker is a man who must re-evaluate his life and find a viable purpose. He is part of a large family filled with people who are devoted to one another. He has a good sense of humor, a strong sense of responsibility and a quirky way of seeing the world around him.

The small town of Redemption is populated by terrific people. Because the town is small, there are very few secrets. Gillian and her mother run a bridal shop. One of her best friends runs a florist shop and another runs a book store. This small group of women, are aware of every event in town.

The people in town support one another and provide encouragement for everyone. All in all, this would be a wonderful small town in which to live. This reader fell in love with the town as well as the majority of the people who live there.

Ms March has produced another wonderful story. Her characters would make terrific friends, and her plots move along at a good pace. She is a very talented author.
Although this is part of a series, it is easy to follow the action and understand relationships.

This is the story of Gillian and Tucker. The book starts out a little slow but it has some surprises in store for the reader because Gillian just can’t seem to catch a break. In the end of course she gets her HEA and learns to trust the choices she makes.

I really enjoyed this book. I got sucked in immediately and enjoyed the different relationships between the various characters. I look forward to reading more by Emily March!

4.5 stars - The hero is fantastic in this read. The heroine got a crap deal with her fiancé. I think I would have junk-punched him. She did get annoying a time or two, because she was a hot head and didn’t always take accountability the way I would have liked. All in all, I enjoyed this McBride installment and would happily devour future books in the series.

He likes Gillian but since she’s taken, he has to be happy to be her friend. Tucker and his cousins decide to open a survival school and Tucker will teach at it. The building they buy is the one Gillian wanted for her company. When she finds out her fiancé sold it, they break up. Now Tucker comes up with a plan to win the woman but will she trust her feelings and let go? Good story. Romantic. Humorous. While this was a bit hard to read as I haven't read any of the other books, I did enjoy the story and of Tucker.

I will definitely be reading more by this author.

Tucker is a fabulous contemporary romance by Emily March. Ms. March has once again provided readers with a well-written, smooth read. My favorite part of this book is the characters, kudos to Ms. March for such a wonderful cast. Gillian is stranded after a fight with her fiance and a mishap with her car. Tucker is no longer military and has to decide what he wants to do. Tucker and Gillian's story is fun and twisted, loaded with drama, humor, spice and secrets. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to my next book by Emily March. Tucker is book 2 of The McBrides of Texas Series and book 17 of the Eternity Springs Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I have to admit, I am a fan of Emily March's Eternity Springs books, so I knew what to expect (sort of) when I started reading this book. I like the fact that when you are reading an Emily March book, you are getting romance - actual romance and not steamy sex scenes with too many graphic details. I like the fact that she leaves a bit to the imagination, and this book is no exception.

"Tucker" is a follow-up to the first book in the series "Eternity Springs: The McBrides of Texas" which started out with Jackson's story. You do not need to have read any of the other Eternity Springs books to enjoy it, but if you do, you might enjoy it more as some of the characters show up in this one.

The main characters, Tucker and Gillian, are both very likeable; Tucker has recently separated from the military and is a little bit directionless. Gillian is a planner (mostly- she plans everything out, and even is working toward opening a wedding planning business to complement the bridal store she owns with her mother. Gillian is fresh off a fight with her fiance, Jeremy, when she meets Tucker after hitting a tree and walking for help; there are complications with her fiance that lead her to Tucker. What I like most is that he teaches her how to believe in herself again after she loses herself....

This story is a well-crafted romance with a lot of heart, and a little fun thrown in. I like books that allow me to escape for just a little while, and this book did not disappoint.

I love Emily March's Eternity Springs series and also loved the first book in the Redemption Texas series, Jackson.

I was disappointed in the book Tucker. I was not drawn into the characters as I normally am in Emily's books. I thought the bridal salon scenes were a bit drawn out.

I'll definitely keep reading Emily, was just not into this book as much as her others.

Tucker by Emily March is book two in her The McBrides of Texas; Eternity Springs Seriess. Every book is about another couple and can be read as a stand alone. For best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order. The previous book is Jackson and yes, there are a few cross-overs.
Tucker is a cousin of Jackson and Boone. He's ex-military and now back in Texas to start his civil life.
When he finds a damsel in distress everything is about to change.
Gillian Thacker is a bridal shop co-owner, engegd to be married soon and everything could be great. But why does she swapping kisses witha stranger then??
Gillian is self centered and high maintenance, doesn't see a good thing when it lays at her feet. No, she wasn't my favorite character. Tucker on the other hand is perfect book boyfriend material, handsome, great with his niece, loved deeply, is a fierce warrior. So what to do? Tucker deserves 5 stars, Gillian not. With a heavy heart he gets 4,25 Stars.
