This is a book full of twists and turns it will keep you guessing til the end. I enjoyed the piecing together the story little by little.

What do you do when your husband of 3 years dies leaving you pregnant? What would you do if it was proven that the name he was using was from a stolen identity? How do you track down someone when all they told you was a lie?

Thanks to Netgalley for complimentary copy. Thoughts and opinions my own.

The Man She Married by Alison James is a compulsively diabolical thriller that had me firmly in its grasp from the very first page. The twists just kept coming, and I tore through this one at warp speed in a desperate bid to unravel it all. The boxes have all been ticked with this gripping and addictive read.

Alice has all but given up on finding love when a chance meeting in an elevator puts her directly in the path of Dominic Gill, who is successful, charming, and attentive. Alice is quickly smitten, and the two enter into a hasty marriage. Initially, all is bliss. But as time goes by, doubts about some of Dominic's behaviours begin to bother Alice, even though her husband is always ready with a plausible explanation. Yet how well do we really know those with whom we share our most intimate moments? I devoured this novel in a matter of hours trying to find out,

Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for this ARC.
