I read the first one and it was kind of a let down. The chemistry was no better in this one either.
It was okay, but i just did not connect or care for the characters at all. They were extremely boring to me.

I had a really great time reading these books! This world with these powers and shifters, was really interesting, and with the Manhattan Ten, I wanted to know more about them and their romances, and the ladies that they fall in love with...man, they were fantastic!

This cover design for the revamped series, which was original published in 2013, and books 1 and 2 were switched in publication order, look so great! I love the neon colours and the symbols that are associated with each book! They look stylish and are what drew me in to read the synopsis!

I really enjoyed Val and Jag. She's been running from her past, and he's a shifter who is usually pretty chill. They were a fantastic couple, watching him get her to let down her walls, while there was also superhero stuff going on, was so entertaining to read!

Jenny, or "Tempress" had an interesting ability, to take other people's powers with a kiss. And she uses it for good, but she's looked down upon. When she takes Tank's, a good guy, well, things get really complicated. I really enjoyed their dynamics, as he learned some things aren't black and white!

Loved reading these books and I can't wait to continue!

This was a quick and easy read. I really enjoyed this superhero romance and will definitely have to read more of the series!

I’m a sucker for superhero themes (shows, movies, books, whatever!). This one sounded different from what I normally get my hands on in that genre so it definitely grabbed my attention. I really enjoyed the story and absolutely LOVED Jenny and Tank! I can’t wait to get the rest of the books in the series. I highly recommend.

I usually don't delve into the superhero genre but this book's cover caught my eye and the description piqued my interest, so I gave it a try and so glad I did. It is a fast paced, action filled read and so very fun. I will definitely look for more books by this author.

Temptress is the second book in the Manhatten Ten Series and it was even better than the first book. Lola Dodges' superheroes are fallible, interesting and hot. Tank and Temptress have explosive chemistry as they fight against an assortment of comic book-worthy unique villains. I can't wait to read the next in the series!

Another great super-powered romance from Lola Dodge, starring a man who can get in anyone's head and the woman who can take anyone's power...including his.

Book 2 in the Manhattan Ten series was just as action-packed and gripping as the first! I seriously could not love this series more if I tried. It's got all of my favorite things: superheroes with cool abilities, badass fight scenes, and steamy chemistry.

This book really surprised me! It was really good, had a unique heroine, and an interesting hero. I liked the fact that it was a superhero romance, but somewhat on the clean side. It is a good alternative if you like the Bigtime series, and are not in the mood to re-read the series while waiting for the next installment. My only complaint was that it was entirely too short! I'll be grabbing the others in the series for certain!

In the second book of the Manhattan Ten short story series, a new superhero emerges to catch Thinktank's eye. Temptress, or Jenny for her friends. I loved Ivory, so I knew I needed to get Temptress to continue on in the series - and continue reading the companion stories of the Manhattan Ten. Temptress' character was so awesome - she was completely bad-a** and totally nonchalant about it. She just walks into a fight without a care. I also like getting to know Tank's character more than what we got to see in Ivory.

As with the first one, this is an adult short story, so there is sexual content - but I would say less than there was in Ivory. The focus of this story was more about figuring out Temptress' backstory and eventually saving her from her past. With her ability to steal other super's powers - she really is a force to be reckoned with and I'm happy she got her ending.

Check this out if you want a super quick, fantasy novel with fun characters and interesting super powers.

I chose this book because I enjoyed the first book of the series (Ivory) so much. Temptress did not disappoint. With all the sassiness, sexiness, superheros, and humour of the first volume, this brings us a brand new story. As expected, this was really easy to read, not a single error (that I noticed), and the story just made me feel happy. I don’t particularly like Steel as a character, but I’m hoping he’ll be redeemed when we get to his story.

I do love the way each character has their own symbol at chapter headings (and changes in POV), and the covers of these books are great.

If you love superheros written with humour and a little romance, definitely give this series a try.

I have never read a super hero romance let alone one with a twist like this. I have to say that I liked it a lot. Though I haven't read the previous book in this series but I had no problem getting to the heart of this plot and I enjoyed it a lot.
I loved the characters. The superheroes with their powers and the chemistry between the two leads was enough to draw the readers in. All in all it was a good short read with lovely and interesting characters and a unique plot to match.

This is such a fun series. In this installment the M10’s leader Thinktank meets his match in Temptress an independent supernatural and boy does she make him work for it. I really felt for her doing the best she could with the gifts she was given.

Temptress, Lola Dodge’s second installment in her Superhero Manhattan 10 series, follows vigilante Jenny, otherwise known to the public as Temptress, and the leader of the Manhattan 10, Think Tank. This novella, like the first, is a fast-paced episode that delves into the superhero world, and offers a light amount of details to their origins. The romance between Temptress and Think Tank felt rushed because their romance was accelerated to a two-day affair that resulted in a happily-ever-after ending.
What impresses me about Dodge’s Superhero novella series is the amount of action and detail she does put in to her latest episode. No matter what may irk me during the reading, I always feel compelled and invigorated for more superhero tall tales and action-packed adventures in a Dodge novella.

Jenny and Tank have such chemistry! I love how Jenny can be badass but she also knows when to ask for help. And Tank is such an alpha male but also caring and supportive.

All the mistery about Jenny's past was really good! The only downside of this book is that it's over realy soon. Can't wait for Belle Fury

I could not wait for this book to come out. After reading the first book in the Manhattan Ten series, Ivory, I was hooked.

Temptress is about an independent superhero whose working as a bounty hunter for the police arresting criminals with superpowers. In the midst of arresting one of the M10, Steel, she is sidelined by Thinktank, Tank for short. Temptress' power is stealing other superheroes' powers with a kiss. Needless to say, she gets Tank's powers. The only way to get them back is with another kiss...

I enjoyed this book just as much as the first. The chemistry between Tank and Temptress was undeniable, and I enjoyed the comedy on the side.

This book showcased even more superheroes with quite fascinating powers. I found Chance's powers to be a nice twist. Who knew that could be a superpower?

I liked that the events of this story took place in Las Vegas. I could actually feel as if I could see the numerous slot machines and games. The excitement in the air was almost tangible.

As with the first book in this series, my only regret was how short this book was. I love how much I miss the characters of this series whenever I finish a book. I cannot wait for the other instalment to be released.
