The book is a good reminder to think of time as your friend. There are practical suggestions to implement. I found it a quick read.

Well-written and unique time management book. Bridget does an excellent job speaking to the ever present myth that time is the enemy. It is not; it is our friend.
From pairing your to-do list with you calendar, to reminding you to take small steps, this book, geared toward the creative type, can really help anyone identify the best system for them. The key is to read this book, find your system, trust it, and work it! With actionable tasks and an easy-to-read format, the book truly gives credence to Annie Dillard's statement - "how we spend our days is of course how we spend our lives".

Highly recommended for readers who have enjoyed books by David Allen, Paula Rizzo, and Laura Vanderkam.

Personally, this format just isn't for me. Some of the suggestions were novel and interesting, but overall I thought the concept of "rethinking time" was something that was too basic to have been drawn out into a full fledged book. The writing (and the formatting) had the feel of an extended magazine article (or series of articles) moreso than a book.

I think the formatting is what contributed most to this feeling of reading a magazine article. I found the short "chapter" breaks distracting, especially since in most cases the breaks weren't necessary or logical (the ideas and thoughts in one segment tied directly into the next segment, so the chapter breaks served to disrupt my thoughts and kept me from getting absorbed into what I was reading). I get that the author was promising to keep everything short since this is ostensibly meant for people who feel they do not have time to read...but it just felt like a gimmick that took away from the text.

Perhaps a good edit and change of formatting would really strengthen this book. It does have potential!
