WOW! Thank you NetGalley for the advance copy! Couldn’t put this book down. Such an emotional rollercoaster. I was totally blown by the ending! Never saw this coming! Great writing! One of her best! You think you are siding with the right character....then boom, you end up being totally wrong! WOW!

I unfortunately can’t say I loved this as much as the duos first two books. The first two thirds of the book was so outlandish and I was so annoyed with Joanna and how easily she seemed to go along with all the hardships in her life. It was unbelievable to me that a mother would act like that, so I was assuming a twist would be coming to explain her inaction. Her therapist Celeste also seemed off to me and I had a feeling she was someway involved. Of course it all came together with a brilliant twist at the end and wrapped up all of the things that had been frustrating me about the book. It was a compulsive read, Joanna was just too infuriating.

Just finished this book! Thanks to @netgalley for the ARC. I really enjoyed it. It was a quick, easy read. I enjoyed how the book was told from two different perspectives and kept flipping back and forth, which made me want to keep reading! Parts of the story tended to be confusing, but it all came together shockingly in the end. I read for an uninterrupted hour to finish the book because I could not believe what was happening.

This is the second book I have read by these authors. I just did a quick check and saw they have a third book that I have not read, so I immediately put it on my Goodreads account.

The two sisters make up the duo that write under the pen name Liv Constantine are mystery/thriller masters—their writing style is unique and completely addictive! The Wife Stalker will grab you from the very beginning and keep you glued to your kindle until the very last page! The shocking twists are plentiful and just when I thought I had it all figured out...I most definitely didn’t! The Wife Stalker is the perfect 5 star read to kick off your summer with! An absolute MUST read!

The Wife Stalker by Liv Constantine is just as engrossing as her other novels. The Wife Stalker alternates POV from Joanna, wife of Leo and mother of his children, to Piper, new in town blonde who instantly becomes interested in Leo. The two start spending time together, first under the excuse that its work related. But Joanna sees right through that and knows its romantic. When Joanna's mother breaks her leg and Joanna goes to stay with her, Leo tells her not to come home. Piper is in his life now, and he no longer wants to be with Joanna. Joanna must figure out who Piper really is. Joanna is convinced that Piper is hurting the children, and has hurt her previous husbands. Joanna is running out of time, and has to confront Leo about her suspicions before Piper hurts the family.

Liv Constantine does it again and gives the ultimate twist at the end. The setting is upper middle class Connecticut, and Constantine's descriptive writing captures the details perfectly. This reminded me a lot of The Last Mrs. Parrish, but is still different enough to be a whole unique story on its own. Thanks to NetGalley for the chance to read and review!

📘 The Wife Stalker by Liv Constantine @livconstantine2
❇🤩 So many different reactions in this book. The beginning is not necessarily slow but, a steady pace. (Learning the characters, if you will and setting up the big bang)
❇ Through the book your face changes from 🥰, 🤔,😬,😈, 😱 and finally 🤯..lol hope that helps.
❇ Seriously though, it was a crazy (good crazy) mess of omg, please no to wtf!? And the end is a big giant kicker.
❇ Highly Recommend
❇ Huge thanks to @netgalley for the ARC.
❇ Publication date is May 19th 2020
❇ Description from #goodreads: Breezing into the tony seaside paradise of Westport, Connecticut, gorgeous thirtysomething Piper Reynard sets down roots, opening a rehab and wellness space and joining a local yacht club. When she meets Leo Drakos, a handsome, successful lawyer, the wedding ring on his finger is the only thing she doesn’t like about him. Yet as Piper well knows, no marriage is permanent.

Meanwhile, Joanna has been waiting patiently for Leo, the charismatic man she fell in love with all those years ago, to re-emerge from the severe depression that has engulfed him. Though she’s thankful when Leo returns to his charming, energetic self, paying attention again to Evie and Stelli, the children they both love beyond measure, Joanna is shocked to discover that it’s not her loving support that’s sparked his renewed happiness—it’s something else.

Piper. Leo has fallen head over heels for the flaky, New Age-y newcomer, and unrepentant and resolute, he’s more than willing to leave Joanna behind, along with everything they’ve built. Of course, he assures her, she can still see the children.

Joanna is devastated—and determined to find something, anything, to use against this woman who has stolen her life and her true love. As she digs deeper into Piper’s past, Joanna begins to unearth disturbing secrets . . . but when she confides to her therapist that she fears for the lives of her ex-husband and children, her concerns are dismissed as paranoia. Can she find the proof she needs in time to save them?

The Wife Stalker by Liv Constantine was a very enjoyable read and it kept me guessing throughout the story. I'm a huge fan of the authors and was very excited to read this ARC. I found the storyline at times to be a bit confusing but was able to flip back and figure out what was going on. The huge twist at the end was extremely shocking and I loved it, I definitely had not guessed the outcome and it was very well done.

Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for this ARC.

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC. Joanna has this amazing life, living with Leo and two kids in a beautiful house, until Piper comes into the picture. She steals Leo and they are soon married. Joanna does some digging and finds out that Piper isn’t who she says she is. The fight is on. This book was pretty good. When the twist finally appeared, I had to read the section twice because it felt like it changed story lines. It was really confusing until the next couple of chapters explained it.

Wow! I read this book from cover to cover without stopping for the bathroom, food, seemingly to breath. It was such a page turner. I LOVED the Last Mrs. Parrish, but was disappointed by Liv Constantine's next book. This one though, was EXCELLENT!

The sisters have done it again with this terrific domestic thriller that constantly surprises. I was ready to put this book down after reading about a third of the story, because the plot and its characters were illogical and maddeningly annoying. I stuck with it, though, and ended up thoroughly enjoying the story. At the end I had to reread the first few chapters because I was so surprised and caught off guard. Don't ruin the story by knowing too much going in. Just enjoy it! Thanks to NetGalley for providing an ARC.

The Wife Stalker is a dark tale of obsessive love. Two women are equally determined to win the love of a man and his two small children, each in pursuit of a perfect family. One of the women will stop at nothing to achieve that goal. Which of the two will go too far in her quest for domestic bliss?

The Wife Stalker is a compelling page turner with breathtaking twists and nail-biting tension that captivates the reader from start to finish.

4.5 stars! I really love Liv Constantine and will basically pick up anything they write!

This book was captivating and kept me turning pages to find out what would happen next! It switches between two points of view every other chapter, and I loved that it was easy to follow right from the beginning. And I loved the twists in this one! So good and so unexpected! The perfect book to get me out of a reading rut!

I highly recommend!

WOW! What a wild ride! This book had me hooked until the very end! I certainly did not see the ending coming and was very much sympathizing with the wrong character!

Highly recommend this book and will hand this to all of my reader friends!

I was very excited to read this one! I love the author's writing style - short, sweet chapters that always contain a lot of information, and always seem to have a twist involved. This one did not disappoint.

The cast was very built up, and you seemed to know them as the story went along, and you even got to dislike them more than you liked them. You found yourself rooting for them at the same time.

I would definitely recommend this title to my audience, and gave it 4/5 stars on my Amazon list.

** spoiler alert ** (I don’t give specific spoilers but still wanted to warn you anyway.)
Set in Westport, CT this is a book about wealthy people living privileged lives. Leo and Piper are a new couple, due to his recent marital issues. He was married and has two children when he meets Piper. They fall in love and marry quickly. Complications arise when Joanna won’t let go of her role in the children’s and Leo’s lives. As Joanna investigates who Piper really is, we feel the tension of worrying for Leo, Evie, and Stelli’s lives.
I have enjoyed other books by these authors writing under one name, but this one fell flat for me. There was just too much happening in this book, too quickly. It defied logic. Many thrillers do, but I think this could’ve been slowed down a little in the plot. I would have liked to see Joanna and Piper fleshed out a little more, but perhaps the reason the authors didn’t do this is because they are keeping secrets from you about Joanna. I really liked the twist with regard to Joanna and who she really is. Their books are always fun to read. This one to me was like eating from a bag of Cheetos. Tasty and fun, but when finished not especially memorable.
Who would like this book? Do you like thrillers that are easy on the eyes and brain, with a twist? Then you will like this novel. Just don’t expect it to stick with you. It’s a fun beach read for sure.

I really enjoyed this book. The author did such a great job of having two strong female characters. The ending blew me away!!! I did not see that coming!

I really liked this book. It kept my interest and I finished it in about 2 days. Liv always has a fun twist at the end though Mrs. Parrish is much better. The story felt like it had holes in it when from the beginning it claimed that Joanna "the mother" lost complete custody of the children and could never see them again just because she went to stay with her mom and spanked her kid for running in the parking lot. I questioned the story the whole time because that's obviously not how the legal system works. It made sense in the end when we find out she's not the mom but not very believable leading up to the surprise ending in my opinion. Fun book though and I enjoyed it!

I really was interested in this story line and parts of the story kept me 100% hooked (which is why I finished). BUT I feel like there were no smooth transitions and all of a sudden I was confused because I thought I missed something and I would reread to figure out what I missed and I couldn’t find it. The ending shocked me and even thought I felt confused at times I enjoyed the overall plot and structure of this novel.

"The Wife Stalker" is set up with an intriguing premise: to what depths would a woman go to get her husband and kids out of the clutches of a madwoman? I was sucked in to this novel immediately, and loved the entire book UNTIL I got to the last few chapters. The only thing I dislike more than an unreliable narrator is when the author doesn't tell us that someone is an unreliable narrator. I found the ending to be confusing and unnecessarily complicated.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
