What would you risk for a second chance with the one that got away? Would you be willing to give up the life you have built, which has begun to give you fulfillment and happiness after you have moved on, past the pain and grief that has plagued you for years? That is the question that runs throughout this book, as Cheyenne and Wyatt connect for the first time since their teenage years. This is a story about finding happiness, and learning that love is not always an all-or-nothing prospect, and that making a successful future together often involves changes, and compromise. I really connected with the story, the characters, the town - this was a fantastic read!

What I liked about this book series is that all of the female characters are strong, and aren't waiting for a man to save them - Cheyenne is no exception. She is strong, confident, and knows what she wants, and is working to build a future for herself on the Lavender Farm in Blue Hollow Falls, and in addition, she is rescuing horses that need her help. Wyatt has also moved on from the rodeo circuit after he disappeared, and he has been hugely successful with making his own difference in the world. The two of them come together to help preserve Firefly Lake, and sparks fly.

I would recommend this book for romance readers that appreciate a true romance in a quaint small-town setting. If you are looking for a happy, uplifting story, this one is for you!

Well, it looks like the last two ladies of Lavender Blue Farms may.have found love.

When Cheyenne’s old friend Tory arrived at the farm, she didn’t arrive alone. She brought along another old friend, and Cheyenne’s lost love - Wyatt. Cheyenne’s relationship with Wyatt ended due to youth and a misunderstanding. Tory decided that it was time for them to come face to face, even if it did involve a little trickery!

While Cheyenne and Wyatt try to work things out, Vivi comes face to face with a man from her past. She and Grant loved each other when they were young, but his acting career was taking off and they didn’t feel like the timing was right. However, they have continued to keep track of one another over the years. Now that they are both retired, could their timing finally be right?

Catch up with all of the ladies of Lavender Blue Farms, and read along as Chey and Vivi see if love is better the second time around!

The ladies of the Lavender Farm up their ante when it comes to what the farm will provide. Each has provided their own talents to home and the lavender products that sell to tourists and townsfolk of Blue Hollow Falls. Cheyenne McCafferty has brought in horses to the farm. They are rescues that she has nursed back to health. Visitors have an opportunity to ride trails in the area. Her childhood friend Victoria or Tory as she is known, travels cross country to return Chey’s two horse trailer. In it she brings horses that need healing. They are excited to see each other but out of the truck steps Wyatt Reed. It has been years since she has seen him. He was her first love but both of their ambitions interfered with their young love. After Chey left the rodeo circuit she began training horses trying to get by the sorrow she felt due to her parents and brothers death. She really didn’t know how to approach Wyatt. He had changed since the young, thin, boy she left. He was now a strong handsome man. She too had matured and it was difficult for him to see her differently as well. Tory wanted them to become friends again so the trio could stay in contact despite their homes being in different places across the globe. Wyatt decides to stay in Blue Hollow for the summer to help solve some problems that revolve around the development of nearby Firefly Lake. Wyatt has developed an environment YouTube business to help underdeveloped places with problems that need help. He asks his assistant to send his work from his farm in Wales so he can complete the paperwork on his last project, then choose a location for the next series.
This is Cheyenne and Wyatt’s story. Kauffman tells how they work through their old relationship and pursue into the next. Once again Vivi, Avery, and Hannah play a part in the script. I have read the Lavender Farm series and have enjoyed them. They are pleasant to read and entertaining. I admit I did have trouble with the first part of this novel. I felt there was too much repetition in the telling of the tale. The reader doesn’t need to be reminded of the past of each character over and over again. I do recommend it to those who have read the Lavender books. To those who have not read Donna Kauffman I am sure you would enjoy them.

I absolutely adore this series - this book, and the others previous to it. I would pack up and move to Blue Hollow if it was a wonderful as she makes it out to be (and I hate to travel). The people, the setting all of it makes wonderful stories!
