A PI, socialite, a sex club and a lot of secrets. What will happen when Coco discovers the real reason Ash is with her?

A scorcher, who will get burned?

Ash Livingston is a PI and one of the best. Ash’s Moral compass is definitely in question, and it becomes evident when things turn on the case he is investigating. I misjudged Ash in the beginning, I was happy to know his heart is alive.

Coco Lauren is the princess of the Lauren family. Coco has her secret side as did her mothers, and is the reason she hides so much of herself. It was ingrained into her and her brother Philip that the Lauren names should not be tarnished again. Can Coco survive that weight of the family name when in truth her passions run high when her path runs across Ash Livingston’s ?

There is so many levels between Ash and Coco. Trust, secrets, past hurts, family and a passion that seems to grow thought. The question is if the truth comes out will they both walk away unaffected? I adore this hero and heroine on their own and together. Witty banter, family strengths even though there are questions and healing you as the reader feel it all.

The supporting characters are in many levels from a questionable family, to love for family. I hope Phillip finds what he desires. Jackson and Caitlin are just to much fun. These characters captures my heart. Peter Livingston, Ash’s dad he is such the charmer.

Getting Dirty is a short fun read from Rachael Stewart that will definitely keep you warm. Getting Dirtyis a story about lose love and finding the courage to love and trust again. I can't say enough about Rachael Stewart's writing talents, she is a must buy for me.

I picked this book because the premise sounded good. A British socialite going to sex clubs, her brother finding out and hiring a private investigator to follow her. The investigator gets involved and realizes that Coco Laurent is not who the media shows when you get to know her. The point of view is alternating and the story is told mostly in first person. I struggle with that. There is a reader for every book and I'm not one to talk bad about or discredit an author, but this book was not for me. Some of the sex scenes were hot and I'm all for explicit encounters especially in sex clubs...but I just didn't love this story.

Being a private investigator means that if there’s dirt, I always find it. Only, right now “work” is sitting across from me—a naughty little princess in London’s most exclusive, extra-posh sex club. She’s everything I’ve ever wanted—and tried to avoid—for so long, from that haughty, elegant poise to those perfect lips. Only, socialite Coco Lauren isn’t my client. She’s my target.
I’ve been hired by Coco’s brother to find out all of her dirty little secrets. All it takes is one moment of weakness and I’m done for, just so I can hear her moan in my ear, taste her on my lips. She’s already getting under my skin, with her contrast of vulnerable innocent and hidden temptress who’s so ready to talk—and play—dirty. Now I’m on the wrong side. I’m the bad guy. And every moment we’re tangled up together, things get more complicated. I don’t know where my deception starts and the ruined mess of my heart begins. We’ve gotten good and dirty, but I’m running out of options and time. How do I tell Coco the truth…especially when coming clean means losing her?
Not really sure where to start with this book. It was definitely different from what I normally read. That’s not to say it wasn’t good, it was. Both characters are well written as is the book. If you are into your main characters being “dirty” then I definitely recommend this book.

I didn't get past the first few chapters. The potential queerbaiting in the opening chapter is unfortunate. The way in which the 'hero' hates the 'heroine' seems too far entrenched in hate and guilty lust to ever be a healthy relationship. Perhaps this is a case of a poor match between reader and book.

I’m not really sure how I felt about this one. There are times I struggled to stay with the story and found myself skimming along. There really wasn’t much to the plot just a lot of guilt from Ash, sadness from Coco, and sex between the two. And of course we can’t forget the lies and secrets that Ash is keeping that we all know will come out and blow up massively in his face.

It was okay and I’ll still recommend it to my friends and family but not a favorite.
