I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. This is a great new flap book for little ones and toddlers.

This is so cute and has great illustrations! Babies will love to see the babies in the book doing things that they do everyday, like play, eat and splash in the bathtub! I will definitely use this in my Baby Storytimes.

What is Baby Going to Do? is a lovely flap the pages book which gets your little one excited about their daily routine. From eating dinner to splashing in puddles and eventually going to bed, a question is posed opposite the flap which reveals the answer, and the images scattered around (such as a towel or a spoon) help children to figure out what baby is about to do next. Bright colours help keep children's attention, and my little one - who constantly tries to escape during story time - was absorbed by both What is Baby Going to Do? and What is Mommy Going to Do?. If you have a child who is a bit reluctant when it comes to sitting down and reading books together, I highly recommend giving these a go.

What baby doesn’t like a lift-the-flap book? This book is unique in that the “life-the-flap” is actually a fold out of the page, which would make it more resistant to wear and tear.

The book has nice illustrations and the question and answer format is fun. There is no rhyming, so for parents that find rhyming a little irritating this may be a great selection.

I personally find the book a little short or lacking something truly special, but I did review the digital copy and since the primary feature is “lift-the-flap” perhaps it was lost on me. I also couldn’t the reaction from my baby for the same reason!

Disclaimer: I received a free digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review from #Netgalley.

I really loved “What’s Mommy Going to Do” and this one was just as enjoyable. It is a fun interactive book for kids. Colorful and bright with simple language my son enjoyed this one a lot.

Babies deserve great books.

They may be small, but that doesn't mean the quality of books they are exposed to should lack in any way.

What is Baby Going to Do? is an adorable flap book that babies everywhere are going to love. I thought it was adorable, well-illustrated, and designed in a manner that will be both educational and entertaining for our littlest readers.

Throughout the story, you will see babies dressed in different types of clothing. One baby has a swimsuit, one has a warm winter hat, and one is even wearing her dinner all over her. As you flip the pages of each of these scenarios, you will see the ways that the item baby is wearing relates to the activity he or she is completing.

For example, the baby in a swimsuit is splashing in her baby pool. The baby in a woolly hat is sledding outside with his dad. And naturally, the baby with food all over her is heading straight to the bathtub!

The flap design for this book is a perfect match for the illustrations. I would love reading this book with any little one. It would be so fun to guess with them what the item of clothing is for. Maybe the warm hat is for sledding? Or maybe it was for building a snowman? Catching snowflakes on your tongue? Finding a perfect Christmas tree?

The possibilities with each scenario are endless, and you are for sure going to love reading this with your littlest readers.

This is such a wonderful little book to read with your toddler. It is easy to follow, encourages vocabulary, imagination and interaction. The illustrations are beautifully done -they are bright and cheerful and the scenery for each scenario is eye catching, with added details that enables you to talk further with your little one. It’s such a fun book to help your little one build up understanding of what is going to happen next, in day to day situations.

Lovely. Will be great for a baby or toddler storytime on clothes and one-on-one sharing (you can't go wrong with a lift-the-flap)! Diverse babies, along with their caregivers, go about their day in colorful hats, boots, and swimsuits - whatever's appropriate for the activity they're doing.

A delightful book for young children. Very simple idea. There is a picture of baby with a description. Such as 'baby is covered in Sticky food. What is Baby going to do?' Then a lift up flap on the opposite side under which is the answer. However, the beauty of this book is it calls for plenty of child and adult interaction.
Very colourful images, simple to understand and well presented.

Babies love life and get so excited over every day things. This sturdy board book is sure to delight the toddler in your life. The wee reader looks at the attire of the diverse babies portrayed and try to guess what they are going to do. They are encouraged to open up the flap... peek-a-boo!!!!... and discover if they have made the right guess. Hurray!!!! They did it!!!! Little ones will love the magic of this lift-the-flap interactive book.

The sweet illustrations are full of opportunities to increase vocabualries, encourage creativity and spark imaginations. The format of the book develops hand-eye coordination and provides fun and entertainment for that particular age group. I highly recommend this book.

What a fun book and illustrations. Great for predicting what will happen next with toddlers and talking about the seasons or what young children do during the day. Would definitely recommend for young readers and their families as well as a great book to share during storytime at the library.

I received a free digital ARC through NetGalley. This is a very typical board book format like the series Where is Baby's by Karen Katz.

Toddlers will enjoy trying to decide what each baby will be doing as they turn page after page in this board book. With hints in the illustrations, parents can talk through each question. What will the messy baby be doing? Flip the fold and discover it's bath time!

This book for the youngest children is absolutely adorable.  The illustrations are multicultural, engaging and appealing!  Toddlers will watch baby over the course of the day and learn what baby does, for example, when she puts on boots or a bib.  Highly recommended for the little ones.  I really liked this book.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title in exchange for an honest review.
