Brooke Wellington, is seriously wealthy and her family comes from old money. Brooke also just happens to be the COO of her family's multinational company and is looking for a live in nanny to help look after her six year old son, Noah. Cassie Miller has gone against her parents wishes for her to follow in their footsteps and go to med school, instead she is following her passion to study environmental science, their disapproval has led them to cut off her allowance so she is seriously broke. Cass is hesitant to take on the job as she has a thing for powerful, beautiful women but Brooke's offer is too good to be true. So she takes the plunge.
I love the characters in this book, Brooke is such an ice queen and there is such anticipation as Cassie slowly chips away at that cold veneer and you know by the way she treats her son Noah that underneath it all Brooke is just a real softy. Cassie's character is very young and despite her and Brooke's social standings, Cassie had a level of maturity and confidence to pull off their relationship and that's what makes their relationship believable. The sub characters were particularly interesting and Cassie's Nana is a hoot, she didn't pull any punches and I would have loved to have read more of her.
I particularly loved how Cassie interacts with Noah, they have such a comfortable and beautiful relationship, it's one of the things that make reading this book so pleasurable.
That and the great sex scenes, you can rely on Kris Bryant for that!
This was a fun read with lots of sizzling chemistry.

I rarely give 5 Stars to books only when i honestly feel something beyond just joy. this book has so much love. Heck i even liked Gwen. I could not not give it 5. it's such perfect story. emotional and very realistic. the only thing I would've like to see was more development from Cas side of the family. i was so disappointed around the end of it. Nana should've met her! she did not even get to see the Apart as she was promised. her whole side was not that involved. Also hated cas as friend, :d. wonderfully written and absolutely enjoyable read

I was given this in exchange of honest opinion
to the author and her team , thank you for giving me such trust

Received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for a honest review. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

These are two of my favorite tropes, age gap and boss/employee.
The age gap thing wasn’t really touched upon but the nanny/boss thing was done well. I loved the build up in the story. Loved the chemistry between Cassie and Brook. Loved the relationship between Cassie and Noah. Loved the supporting characters like Erica and Nana. The story was perfectly paced. The sex scenes were well written. I loved the book. I laughed, I cried and I enjoyed myself.

Thanks to the author and Bold Strokes for a copy

This gorgeous and sexy cover immediately captured my attention, but it’s the content that won me over in ways I didn’t expect. Giving into the temptation of falling for the hot mom is only the beginning for Cassie. Her delightful playfulness is bolstered by the fierce loyalty to Brook and her son. The three of them didn’t know what they were missing until they grew into the family unit that they never knew they needed until it was gifted to them. Their story meanders through good times and not so good, but it’s Cassie’s complete and utter playful dorkiness that had me laughing frequently. I found it impossible to not adore her, or this book, in every way. I received a copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
