This is an excellent addition to this amazing series.
It's engrossing and entertaining and the plot is well crafted.
Amber is a complex and well written character and she's more layered than the average cozy mystery characters.
I love the description of the small town that can be lovely and somehow cruel at the same time.
The cast of characters is well written and likeable.
The mystery is solid, full of twists and turns, and it kept me guessing.
It was an excellent read, highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

Pawsitively Secretive is the third book in Melissa Erin Jackson’s Witch of Edgehill series and just like the 2 previous ones I absolutely adored this one.

The adventures of Amber Blackwood continues! It’s so exciting to watch as Amber continues to explore her magic while trying to lead a normal life, well normalish.
She uses her magic this time to help the chief of police find the mayor’s daughter. While she does that she finds time to help organise the Here and Meow Festival and tries to avoid Jack Terrence as well. She has her work cut out for her, that’s for sure.

I love Amber and the other characters better each time a new book comes out.

The Witch of Edgehill series became one of my favourite books this year and I will read the next ones surely.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for my copy.

I have enjoyed all the books in this series. This book was as entertaining as the first two. I enjoy Amber and her cousin. Can't wait for more. I have ordered copies for my store and will be handselling like crazy.

great addition to the series that saw Amber grow as a person and develop deeper bonds with her friends. When the daughter of the mayor goes missing she puts her magic to work and along with the chief and a PI hired to find the girl .saves the day. The ending is great and i'm really interested to see where it's going with Jack

Having read a few books in this series, I was hoping for another great story. Yep, this book hits all the right notes, a cozy mystery with really interesting characters, loved all the names of the streets and businesses. Would definitely recommend this series. I received an e-book from NetGalley in return for an unbiased review.

This is a seriously enjoyable book in a fun series. I appreciate the fact that the author gives you a recap of the previous books, so it can be read as a standalone. The town and characters are quirky and the mystery isn't easy to solve. I spent a fun afternoon reading this and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

I have read the first two books in this series, and the end of the last one nearly did me in because of a sad part. Well, the start of this one made me forget about it because it drew me in right away. Poor Amber is still recovering from the events of the last book when a teen is kidnapped, and she is one of the last to have talked to her. Now, she’s racing time to save her. I just love this series. It is pretty much a cozy series, but it is a little more serious. The characters are all fun and have unique personalities, and the end (not of the kidnapping) I kinda saw coming, but I was still shocked. This the best book so far, and I’m really looking forward to the next. This is a well-written, interesting mystery series, and you have to try it. Highly recommend! I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

This is the third in the series, and I strongly recommend reading them in order as each one is a continuation in Amber's story. I am in love with this series. It is the perfect combination of mystery, fantasy and quirky characters.

What I love about this series is that it's not predictable. I don't know who the bad guy will turn out to be, and that is a difficult thing to do.  Amber shows considerable growth in this book and her lonely existence is slowly expanding to include a robust supporting cast.

I am eagerly anticipating the next in this series. It can't come soon enough for me. If you haven't read this series yet, your definitely in for a treat.

I received an arc of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

In book 3 of the Witch of Edgehill mysteries the mayor's daughter goes missing. When it becomes apparent that foul play was involved, Police Chief Brown once again calls upon Amber Blackwood to use her magical abilities to help him solve the crime.
I love this series. The everything in the town is cat-themed so that is quirky and fun to read. The characters are delightful, and it has a great mystery. This is a fun quick read for mystery lovers, cat lovers and fantasy lovers alike.

Amber is a witch, but she's keeping that fact on the down low. A few people do know, including the police chief of the town of Edgehill, so when the mayor's daughter disappears, he asks Amber's magical help in locating the missing teen, who has apparently been kidnapped. meanwhile, the cat-obsessed town is planning a big social event, aptly called the Hair Ball. I really like this new paranormal series. It's well-plotted--definitely less predictable than some cozy mysteries--and the cat themes add to the fun. Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC.

Such a fun series with it's quirky characters and animals on top of such a cute town. Fast paced but still highlighting the teamwork needed to rescue Chloe. Hoping for more of this series.

This series keeps getting better and better. This is the best of them. I really enjoyed the investigation in to Chloe's kidnapping and the teamwork all the characters put in. The book is fast paced and utilized it's characters really well. It's nice that main character was able to finally share that she was a witch with her best friend. #PawsitivelySecretive #NetGalley

This book was a seriously cute mystery. It was fraught with oddball characters and quirky animals. The town itself was adoreable. The story was so well written and enjoyable that before I knew it I had finished the book. I loved it and I hope to read more from this author. She knows what the people want to read.
