Ami will do anything to get out from under their control. Little does she know there are true dangers waiting for their chance to strike, a chance that comes when the princess slips away from her bodyguards and disappears in disguise into the underground world of sex clubs and rope bondage performers. Will the disguise be enough to keep her safe from the assassins on her trail? And what about this mysterious stranger, this Jiro, who seems fated to meet her again? What will she receive when she surrenders herself, bound and helpless, to his rope bondage: unbearable pleasure or ultimate pain?
This was an interesting read. It was a bit different from other books from this genre I’ve read. It was pretty quick and I enjoyed it. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Interesting yet unsatisfying. This is a very short story that just leaves the reader unsatisfied. The princess does a 180 in her character in a mer 10 pages. The respectful girl turns from do whatever my father says to a do what I now person. Jiro turns into a man that seemed to know himself into a yes man. The concept was good, but the execution was not.

The Bonds of Love by Cecilia Tan is a beautifully written erotic tale of love through time expressed through the art of Shibari. This is a short story that will stick with you long past the last page.
