An absolute pleasure to read. Such a wonderful quick read I throughly enjoyed since the characters were so well written.

Boring and hard pass.
It went on too quick and the characters had no chemistry and it was just so dry.

Super sexy but not over the top! This was a fun read and I enjoyed Rosaline as the female main character.

Interesting romance..Great fast paced fun love story that leaves you wanting more. I liked the characters and was pulled into the story from the first page.

A Passionate Wish feels like a decent 1st book to a series. I liked the idea that was promised, but I felt like it fell a little short for me. It was a quick and sometimes odd read. I felt like Rosaline's character began to develop more towards the end of the book. I felt like there were many unanswered questions and unresolved issues. The way that this book ended left much to be desired. I felt like I had more questions at the end than I did while reading the book. I sincerely hope that this is the beginning to the series because there's a lot of unanswered questions and issues. Thank you NetGalley and Ms. Bloom for gifting me a copy of this book. This was my honest opinion.

I did not connect with this book. I had a hard time with the plot at the beginning and just did not have much of an interest in the characters.
Thank you for the ARC. This is my honest review.

This book was so much fun - really interesting plot and really grabbed my attention right away that I could easily finish in one sitting. The only thing I do wish is that it was longer. Rosaline & Gabriel were great.

Ok book. Odd ending. Well written, but not my usual genre. Characters were very hard to relate to or form a liking to. The ending of the story just stopped.

My thanks to the Publishers via NetGalley for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review.

At around a 100 pages or so, this is a short novella style length read. I gave this a 2 stars or 4/10.

It was an alright read, but at times it became a little confusing especially with the introduction of the Order! This seemed to appear out of nowhere in my opinion and wasn't really developed properly. Telling the story of a rushed relationship that soon became a sexual one between Gabriel and Rosaline.

Personally I feel that the story could have done with some better editing and a little more direction. I know it's not always easy when trying to relate a story, if it's only a short one or novella length.

I would have liked to know more about the Order and for there to be a little more of a back story to the characters as I feel that this could have been quite a good premise to the story if it had been developed more.

In most cases, I’ll always start a review off with a positive, however with ‘A Passionate Wish’ I’m not sure I can. I’m not sure if there was anything I enjoyed about this book. The formatting/ style was odd and messed with my flow of reading, as did the control, or lack of control, over syntax. I found awkward pauses frequent, especially in dialogue, this awkwardness also being aided by the formatting.

In terms of characters, I found them to be boring. This is a case where I was glad the book was <200 pages. The implementation of magic in this book was also something I found confusing, and almost completely irrelevant.

All in all, I am grateful for the chance to review this, but ultimately grateful for how quick it was over with.

This book was hard to follow at times. The book has doubled spaces between the apostrophe and made me reread the words causing my read time longer then normal for a book this size.
There needs to be more of a backstory to the characters to give people a better understanding of what is happening.
I struggled to finish this book as it didn't draw me in at all.
It's an ok book but with a good overall edit it could be much better.

A Passionate Wish by Juliana Blossom was a great read - rating 5 STARS

This author is new for me so I will be checking out her backlist - currently following her as well on Amazon.

ARC approved by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review - Opinions expressed are my own & have not been influenced in any way!

The cover alone grabbed my attention & although I wasn’t sure from the “book blurb” if I would like the story - I’m so glad I read this since I’ve now discovered Ms Blossom as an author.

Rosaline thinks she meets Gabriel by chance but thats’s not the case. We find out that he has been sent to bring her back to The Order - paying his debt to them & will then be able to go off and lead his life as he wants ... All it takes is meeting her - spending some time with her & he realizes he can’t & won’t give her up !! Rosaline has a special power where she can control minds & therefore ‘the actions” of those she encounters ... since she has been on the run for several years her powers are a bit rusty !!!

This book was so much fun - really interesting plot and really grabbed my attention right away that I could easily finish in one sitting. The only thing I do wish is that it was longer as I just wanted more of Rosaline & Gabriel’s story !!

Loved this book - great read !!

The book wants to be a sci-fi romance, but its just a little bit lost. The first few chapters were a bit all over the place and I struggled to follow the plot line and where the book was going. It cuts between he two characters thoughts bit too much. The the relationship/romance starts to develop between he two main characters Rosaline & Gabriel which works well for a while, but the ending is abrupt and confusing like the beginning chapters. I am assuming it stops abruptly as it is going to be part of a series, but there is no cliff hanger to make you wait for the next one. I would continue with the series, but it wouldn't be high on my TBR pile. Thanks for the advanced copy.

Received a copy of this book from netgalley in return for an honest review and opinion. Really enjoyed the bantering and relationship of Rosaline and Gabriel throughout the book. The magic that she possesses is not talked about very much throughout the book or what happens if/when The Order finds here. The ending does kind of end on a cliffhanger as to what will happen with Rosaline and Gabriel and The Order.

I just didn’t get this book. I really wanted to but the story made no sense - even at the end. The brief lové scene was interesting in an otherwise bland book.

A quick but entertaining read. I liked that there was a plot line and not just the erotica aspect of the book. Would have enjoyed learning more about the characters' background stories and the workings of the Order but overall a good read. Would recommend.
