I loved the writing, but it was a bit more about the author than I was hoping. She is an interesting woman to be sure, and I appreciated her journey, but if she's not someone you find to be relatable then this book will be a struggle.

3 stars. I wanted to love this for a lot of reasons, but I don't think it was the novel for me on this topic. Review to come.

Due to being a high school teacher, I have been falling behind on reviews. Here are my initial thoughts.

This is the first book that I have read by Robin and I really like her writing. really resonated with me. Thank you for a wonderful book that leads people back to Christ and promotes a REAL relationship with him.

In For All Who Wander, Robin Dance openly and unreservedly shares how she doubted for years even the existence of God while attending church and serving God. Robin uses many of the circumstances of her life to point out truths and reassurances for the "wandering" Christian.

A big part of this book is therefore biographical - Robin details some of the events of her life from when she was a young girl. The biblical truths that she shares out of her own experiences will be very useful for the doubting Christians, and many will be able to identify with her.

A couple of statements that she made really spoke to me; particularly the reminder that even when we are faithless, God is faithful to us!

Thank you Netgalley and B&H Books for the chance to read this title. This is my honest review.

“God’s faithfulness is not dependent on your faith.”

I was impressed with this book, especially Robin Dance’s openness about her struggles with her doubt. I think many readers will see themselves in her story. This book was an encouragement to me personally, and helped me look at my faith from the viewpoint of God’s faithfulness and unfailing love towards me. As the author began the book, she told us to remember that even as she shares the difficult parts of her story, the book ends with an emphasis on hope. I enjoyed her writing style and will be looking for her posts on the (in)courage website.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

An enjoyable read with an unexpected structure. Though there was the thread of being lost and wandering, the book seemed initially to be framed with telling the story of how Robin got a deeper faith.strictly, but each chapter has its own message and story. Overall, I enjoyed Robin's honesty and clarity. The incorporation of scripture was so well done. Clearly, there was much reflection that went into crafting the book.

Whatever path you find yourself on in the wandering, For All Who Wander will make you feel as though you aren't alone on the journey.

Robin Dance is a contributor for the (in)courage community. With For All Who Wander, she has written a memoir of sorts. Through the pages you will take a look at her story and how wandering led her back to God. She includes many scripture passages and references - which was a great resource. There is also a Journey Guide (separate study guide) that is an excellent companion to the main book. If you read the book alone, it is more about her story. But if you get the Journey Guide to go along with it, you will be able to apply it to your own life with practical tools to reflect, resolve and respond.

This is basically Robin Dances’ autobiography of her life as a Christian. Wanderings would be the best description of the chapters and how she describes how she wanders through truly finding her life in Christ. Her purpose seems to be assuring others that this is often to be expected.
I had trouble identifying with her but I am sure others will find comfort in finding someone that understands them.
“God is for us in our wandering. He’s working all things for good.”
I received of this book through a NetGalley. The opinions are entirely my own.

I enjoyed this vulnerable memoir about doubt and wandering. The author was vulnerable, real and very easy to read. Her encouragement and honesty for others who may be struggling with doubt, uncertainty and wandering was biblical and powerful. Recommend!

I enjoyed this book a lot. I always approach Christian nonfiction books with low expectations. However, because I knew of Robin Dance from the early days of (in)courage, I was curious to learn more about her. I was happy to see that this book is mostly a memoir dripping with Bible verses. Having grown up in a Christian family and environment myself, I saw a lot of myself in it. This truly is for every Christian.

I liked how she followed her life from the early years to the her (almost) present day life. It's refreshing to see an author, especially a Christian author, admit fault and flaws. This is what Robin Dance does - she sees her shortcomings, but is ready to put them on display because that's how she got to know God better and learn more about Him, as well as about herself.

It reads quickly, especially the first half. I highlighted A LOT because there are a lot of good passages. If you read it in one seating, or in large portions, you might notice the change of tone as the book progresses. There might be that "preachy" tone towards the end, but by that point I was invested and I was nodding my head and highlighting away that I didn't mind it. As I mentioned, there are a lot of Bible verses used. This book is not watered down theology or feel good Christian book. It may sound a bit too dramatic from the title, but what I discovered is that the author lived what many people of faith over the years and centuries experienced: a need to have their faith tested and proven the right choice. It can appeal to every Christian who wants to have a deeper relationship with God that goes beyond the shallow surface.

I loved This book. The cover is beautiful, the description draws you in. I love personal stories. Robin’# story is ,y favorite kind, those of people who love God and know who they are and feel comfortable in their won skin, yet wrestle anyway.

What kind of faith is one that hasn’t even wrestled with doubt?

This book will draw you in and leave you feeling like you spent a wonderful day with a dear friend

The publisher add this book available through NetGalley. This review is my honest opinion.

For all who wander by Robin Dance is a book that looks at struggles with doubt and faith. Robin shared her own personal struggles and helps the reader through their own. She helps the reader realize that sometimes wondering is the path that leads us back to God.

I thought this was a wonderful book. An honest account told by Robin Dance for anyone who has questioned their faith or wanting a closer relationship with God. It's a story that many Christians have experienced. Reading this, I often said, 'this is me!' or I had an aha moment of understanding my feelings and that I was not alone. It had me digging deeper in His word and had me feeling a little less lonely. With God, we are never alone.

"Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief!" Mark 9:24.
I know I have many times prayed just that.
I have been apart of the (in)courage group for awhile and love their Bible studies and emails I receive. And so when I received this ARC I could not wait to read! I now need the actual book to reread and mark up!

Thank you so much to Robin Dance for her honesty and for writing this great book and thank you to publisher and NetGalley for the eARC

This book started so well. I was enjoying it until the author started veering off and quoting Beth Moore, whose theology is iffy at best. I tried to continue but I highly question anyone who follows and quotes someone like Moore, So I just gave up.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

As I read this book, many times I said that’s me, or me too and aha, I get it. And I realized, I’ve been wandering a bit too. Robin had me reviewing my relationship with our Lord, starting at the beginning up onto the present. In doing so I dug deeper into His word and questioned some of my perception. She opened my heart to some of the blessings, I kept missing.

earc from netgalley

nice idea, but there was so much rambling that it was hard for me to stay focused on the main point, and also it seemed to jump around quite a bit.

This book is for someone who understands Gods rules but maybe isn’t sure how to have a relationship with Jesus on da moment to moment basis. This author shares her story of finding her way to the truth and out of just the rules. I appreciate her being willing to share her mountain top experiences as well as her valley experiences.
I think there are many who could benefit from reading this book.
I received an advanced copy and this is my own opinion.

Robin gives a true picture of how Christians journey within the church. From the days we think we know it all to the days we are unsure if it is worth anything. In a church that is fearful of loosing its young maybe this will be the thing that you need to hear. Know that the journey is not over yet. If you have doubts about being a Christian or if you are walking alongside someone who is in the place of doubt, than this book is for you.

I was sent an advance copy of this book to review. All the opinions are my own.

I DNF this book. I loved all the insight on a Christian premise, and I did relate to the author in many ways. However, I just could not get past the rambling. I wanted to read the book to help me figure out my own wandering, all I was getting was a rambling biography of the author with some bible verses thrown in and references to God, Church, and the Bible. There were also a lot of typos and some paragraphs would abruptly end and then all of the sudden continue a few paragraphs later. As well as a lot of repetition. This is probably just some printing errors but it is quite annoying. Overall, it was just not for me, I did enjoy some of the insight it just took too long to get to those parts.
