A fascinating look at what goes on behind the scenes in a small theatre community, complete with real celebrities as well as collage-aged theatre performers. I didn’t connect with all of the characters, though, and some of the transitions from scene to Sven felt disjointed to me.. but I loved the theatre his and I enjoyed seeing Charlie change as well as reading all the theatrical bits. Great chapter titles too!

This book was not for me. I liked the characters, but I'm jaded when it comes to love stories where there are always happy endings.

So while the story itself was not for me, the characters were well rounded and full of charm and humor!
