I have read many Keto books. I love the way this one breaks it down for you. I really feel this is a great way to eat for the rest of your life. It is not a fad diet. If you are looking for some great information check this book out.

This is a,great primer on the me to diet. Well researched and backed by great science. This book is for anybody thinking about losing weight and/or improving their health.

Have heard Taubes speak many times and this reads like he speaks...a bit technical but with examples that makes it easy to understand. A lot of this I already knew from his lectures but did manage to pick up quite a few new tidbits of information. Keto is life as far as I am concerned and his voice is very much needed!

What an excellent book! Brim full of fascinating, enlightening information that has really given me a new perspective on why the ketogenic diet could be effective. Before this book, I had a more limited and rather negative experience of this type of eating from when I tried a low-carb, high fat plan years back. But after reading "The Case for Keto," I'm actually inspired to put the author's research to the test and try it in a slightly different way this time and reevaluate! Possibly my favourite part is when he talked about the one doctor who has his clients change over their eating gradually, allowing them to feel the benefits and have a taste of success before deciding if they can commit to a complete change. That appealed to me as I find changing your eating style cold turkey is tremendously stressful. Thank you to the publisher for allowing me to review this book, it has been a real pleasure and I have offered my honest opinion.

Provocative and thought provoking. Certainly makes a compelling case for the standard advice being wrong. But hard to know whether to trust him or not when it goes so far against establishment thinking.

Really interesting. Very informative and certainly gave me the available facts but I didn't feel like it was all about making you lose weight, felt to me like it was about the health benefits. Good read!

If you read the author’s other book Why We Get Fat, then this will seem very familiar. The information is similar but he definitely expands on the science behind keto. In addition, he lays the groundwork for following a keto protocol with ease.I wouldn’t call this an easy read. You will want to be able to focus on studies and scientific facts presented, but if that is something of interest to you, you will greatly enjoy this book.

I really liked the message of this book. It simultaneously informed me of the keto diet while also not pushing me to lose weight, like other health books typically do.

I highly recommend this if you’re looking for information about a new diet.
