4.5 Trouble Stars. I absolutely adore Penn. He’s sweet, sexy, flirty and extremely confident. I loved the sizzling hot chemistry and banter between Penn and Avery. I was hooked from beginning to end. A definite must read in this series.

I *loved* this book. I don't know what it is about a male protagonist who is so cocky and sure of himself (and humorous in the process) that is like catnip to me, but Penn is my kind of guy all over. Couple that with a woman who is absolutely all about that guy and fights it? Sign. Me. Up. Trouble dd this perfectly, I can't even describe how much this makes me not put a book down and makes me itchy and smiley all at the same time.

The little friends group in this book is just as much fun as the push-pull between Avery and Penn. I was a little unsure of how much I was going to love the possibility of a drawn out reveal, but I think it was timed well within the context and length of the story.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC, this was an absolute pleasure to read. I don't find many this perfect for me these days.

Trouble is book 3 in the Dogwood Lane Seris by Adriana Locke. Its the one I have been waiting for since I first read Tumble! Trouble was amazing!! Penn's story was everything I had hoped it would be and more, he's my new favourite but that's just between you and me (Don't tell Lincoln)! Penn is the charmer everyone knows it, full of one liners, cheeky innuendos and trouble (in a good way) with a capital T. But he has met his match with Avery who is the only person he has never managed to charm first time around or did he?! As always loved catching up with the rest of the Dogwood Lane residents and can't wait for the next one in the series.

Thank you Adriana and Netgalley for the ARC and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Trouble is book #3 in the Dogwood Lane series. I have not read the previous books but that’s ok, it wasn’t necessary. But I plan on going back and reading the others because I really enjoyed this book.

Penn is quite the...he's...well he's one of a kind that's for sure, “I’d eff a unicorn.” Penn looks around the table. “What? I would.” Penn's wooing is quite unique, “I hope your dreams are as sweet as your ***.” I liked this book, I adored Penn.

This is book 3 in the series but easily stands alone. More so than any of the other stories in the series as Penn is a friend to Dane and Trevor and we don't see them that often in this book.

Penn is the bad boy, never commits, playboy of Dogwood, he meets Avery who is new in town and falls into lust with her. But Avery wants more than a playboy and so she turns him down.

Avery is new in town but she has visited before. Some 10 years before she met Penn and had one night with him but he doesn't remember her at all. She is the daughter of a movie star from Hollywood and she is tired of shallow relationships and she wants a committed relationship with someone who really wants to get to know her.

This story was fun and really great. It is well written and we really get to know Penn and Avery. If you are new to this series, this is a great book to get started on.
