Julian and Keaton are both heartbroken. They are stuck together in a remote cabin during a snow storm. Can these two heal or together or will they break each other? A beautiful story and I am so glad that Julian and Keaton got their HEA!!

Apologies for the late response on this title, and apologies for clogging up an inbox on old titles.
While I am aware it's obvious, I have chosen not to read/review this title.
As always, I appreciate access to titles and look forward to the next one...which I have likely already read based on how long ago this title was published.
Thanks, again.

My heart barely handled this duet! I went into this book 95% sure I was going to hate Keaton, but he wormed his way into my heart with his redemption story. This beautiful story was both heartbreaking and an emotional roller coaster ride, but one that I'd gladly go on again!

This is the second and final book on the Covet duet. This story follows Julian as he try’s to cope with the loss of his mother and the fact that after waking from a coma his life is forever changed by his twin brother Bridge and the fact that his girl is now his brothers wife.
After realizing his brother is right hand he needs a break from the city he agrees to go to their family cabin hoping to find himself and some solace. He wasn’t expecting to find a woman there who happened to be looking for the same thing.
I loved Julian and Keaton together, which was hard for me at the beginning because after the first book in the duet you really don’t like Julian and all he did to Izzy and Bridge. I did feel bad for Julian in regards to his father and the fact that he only just got to see his mother again and she was taken from him so suddenly.
Keaton lost the love of her life and she is trying to finish their book. The book about their love. But she is struggling with how to write it and how she can end it when she doesn’t want to lose her love. Her and Julian’s first meeting was funny and I really loved how they were together.
I really didn’t want this one to end! I loved that we got to see Julian find what he was looking for on Keaton and although there Walter times I wanted to shake her at times, Keaton was a great heroine for Julian. I also loved that we got more of Izzy and Bridge and we got to see him and Julian men’s the rift between them.
100% recommend this book, this duet and this author!!!

Finding Him was a great read by Rachel Van Dyken. Julian woke up from a coma and found out his estranged brother replaced him in the company he owns. His brother also swept up his fiancee in the takeover. He takes time to look hard at where he is and where he's headed. He goes to his families secluded Vermont cabin, where he finds a gorgeous renter Keaton Westbrook. She's a social media superstar that's struggling with her own grief. A winter storm bears down on them and they find an intimacy they didn't expect but they definitely need. I really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

This was such a sweet story! it was my first read by Van Dyken. I loved the unpredicable love journey and the fact that love can break or make so much in your life. The author gives us two characters that were relatable and grew on me. I was so attached to their relationship and struggled with them every step of the way in their trials. Cant wait to read more by this author! The healing was so relatable, I was seriously devoted to this story.

Wow! After I finished the first book, I couldn’t wait to see where the path would lead Julian in book 2 now that Bridge and Izzy found their HEA.
Julian is understandably not happy with his life since his brother and ex fiancé are married and have a baby on the way. He’s super stressed and working way too many hours and is grieving the death of his mother.
Bridges corners him and Julian reluctantly agrees to go on a vacation to the remote family cabin that they used to go to with both his parents when they were still a family.
When he gets there he definitely get a surprise. Ends up the house is already rented out for a month by the famous, Keaton Westbrook, who is also grieving the death of her boyfriend. Their story ent viral and she’s there to finally write the book she’s promised to her publisher. Julian suddenly shows up and is such a jerk to Keaton but I love how she gave it right back to him!
This story starts out very much with the enemies to lovers storyline but slowly turns to so much more after Keaton is hurt and Julian agrees to help her.
The chemistry between these two were off the charts and soon things heat up between the two but their time is cut short. What happens when they both get back to the real world?! Keaton has a reputation to hold up and she doesn’t think it can handle a real relationship with Julian Tennyson. Her followers won’t understand her moving on so fast. Will she give up a second chance at love?!
This books definitely has all the feels! Loved how these two slowly healed each other. Such a beautiful, heartbreaking story. Absolutely love how it ended though! 5+ stars all the way!!❤️❤️❤️

After reading Stealing Her, I couldn't wait to see where Julian ended up in this story. Its definitely fast paced but that doesn't take anything away from the story. Its funny, sweet, super sexy, and a tear jerker.
Julian is dealing with his grief, mourning the loss of not just his mother. He's confident, cocky, sweet, and will make your knees weak. He's made mistakes but is learning to grow from it.
Keaton is grieving the loss of a loved one as well. She's learning to heal and move forward. But sometimes you need a little push in the right direction. She's gorgeous, smart, and isn't afraid to give as much as she gets.
This story gave me all the feels! You'll want to devour it one sitting!

I really enjoyed Julian and Keaton's story! I wasn't quite sure what direction Rachel Van Dyken would take in Finding Him considering how much happened in Stealing Her with Julian and his brother, but book 2 did not disappoint.
As we know, Julian and Keaton (love her name) end up at Julian's family cabin at the same time accidentally, sparks begin to fly immediately.
Both characters are guarded and have scars, for good reason of course, so it was great seeing all of those layers peel back page by page.
Rachel did a great job of bringing these two characters together, and showing us how to forgive hurt in our past in order to move forward and get our HEA. I adore Rachel's book and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next!

RVD has done it again. I loved the first book and this one was just as great. I loved Julian and Keaton's story. It was an emotional read that kept me hooked from beginning to end. Beautiful story.
Thank you Netgalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Rachel Van Dyken in his book discusses the problem of loss of a loved one and ways of dealing with this. But "Finding Him" is also a novel about social media and the impact they have on our lives. Keaton has to face the choice of whether she wants to live as others expect from her, or wants to be happy.
"Finding Him" is a book that is read very nicely and although it touches on difficult subjects, it is very light to read. It's an emotional affair with great heroes that can't be missed.

Finding Him is the second book of the Covet series, and takes place after Stealing Her. I loved reading Julian and Keaton's story. Each trying to find their place in the world around them. I have become a fan of Rachel Van Dyken, and look forward to reading more of her books.

What happens when you’re given an unloveable character who seems like he has no redeemable qualities?!? You dump him Vermont and land the women he wasn’t looking for in his lap.
Then if you’re Rachel Van Dyken you slowly but carefully make that man sweet and misunderstood. You allow him to grow and to find himself. All while falling madly and passionately in love with a women who has her own baggage.
The end result was a spectacular read - both entertaining and captivating, I couldn’t look away from Julian and Keaton’s budding romance. With each page, I liked this couple more and more. I wanted their happily ever after and devoured their journey to finding it. (In the end, I think I even like Julian more than Bridge which shocked the hell out of me!!)
Finding Him was an excellent love story. Fans of this author will love this set of books!

Oh my heart! RVD really tried to wreck me with Julian’s story I swear. Normally I start a Rachel book and am finished rather quickly, but not this time. At first I thought it was all the life things that were happening for me, but now I think it was because I wasn’t meant to rush thru this one. So many beautiful moments in Julian and Keaton’s journey. Just as the story says, their beginning was also the telling of Keaton’s ending from her previous relationship. It was heady stuff and I may have shed as many tears as Keaton. I thought that both Julian and Keaton were beautifully written characters. Both dealing with their own grief journeys. Both feeling something for the other that they can’t quite fight and can’t quite give in to either.
Finding Him was a redemption story, a grief story, a love story and a finding our inner strength story. For a man who thought he’d lost everything, including his soul; Julian truly did find who he was meant to be. For Keaton, she found that for all the people invested in her, it was meeting Julian that showed her that it was okay to let someone else take care of her and stop allowing others opinions to dictate her life and love.

Finding Him is a sequel of sorts to Stealing Her, and I'd highly recommend reading the first book before diving into this one. In this book, Julian is licking his wounds after waking from a coma to find out his twin has stolen his fiancee and his role in the family business. (That is one melodramatic summary, but the book isn't as outlandish as that sounds.) Julian knows that he hasn't always behaved well and has to do a lot of soul searching, so where better to do it than the family's vacation cabin? Trouble is Keaton, a social media influencer/socialite/daughter of Hollywood stars has already decamped there, renting the cabin in order to try to finish the book she's writing about her boyfriend, who passed away from cancer. Julian and Keaton initially butt heads, but they find they might be able to help each other get over their respective issues. Initially I had some trouble with this book - Julian is a jerk in the beginning, and his interactions with Keaton are kind of weird. But as they got to know each other this book grew on me. Keaton is struggling with moving on, but as a public figure she's also struggling with her fans not wanting her to move on. I liked the relationship between these two, and how they work to figure out their paths forward. There was a plot element towards the end I could not get behind, but it's a spoiler so I won't mention it and it wasn't a dealbreaker. If you liked the first book though I'd definitely recommend this one, it's a nice way to end Bridge and Julian's stories.

This was a really great conclusion to Rachel Van Dyken’s Covet duet! I’m so glad that we finally got Julian’s story, and him and Keaton truly deserved their HEA. This is one emotional read from the very first page, so buckle up!
I will say that this does include a trope that I know a lot of people don’t like (let’s just say it has to do with a surprise arrival), so I just thought I would include that in my review. I, however, thought it was done well and it didn’t annoy me personally.
I always enjoy Van Dyken’s writing style and I would also recommend her books if you don’t like super smutty romances. The sex scenes aren’t all that detailed/graphic, but you still know what’s going on if that makes sense.. Looking forward to reading more from this author ASAP!
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing an e-arc in exchange for an honest review!

I said in my review of Stealing Her that it was RVD's best book ever. Bridge and Izzy's story is amazing but Finding Him is now RVD's best book ever!!!
There are times reading this story that I cried so hard, I couldn't see my kindle. There are parts that are so sad I actually felt like my heart was breaking *but* it was also filled with so much happiness and hope. I didn't think I would like Julian much after reading Stealing Her but I loved him. Julian and Keaton have lost so much and that loss led them to each other. Their story is beautiful and I couldn't get enough. I would have finished this book in one sitting if I didn't have to keep walking away to get it together. That epilogue is what magic and rainbows are made of.
I loved these characters so much. RVD has killed it again!!

Finding Him is the continuation of Stealing Her and boy do we finally get to know about Keaton Westbrook. Many people see him as the coma victim but to Bridge he is his twin brother and only family left. I loved that Rachel Van Dyken shows us how different they are yet the love they had as brothers is still there. It is somewhat sad that Keaton had everything imaginable and it takes one accident to make him have a well George Bailey epiphany. He starts wondering about his life and where it is going after really losing the only person that really loved him, his mom. Not only do we have Keaton but we have the city’s most loved woman going through her own grief. Two people not looking for anything but feeling a bond that cannot be explained only their hearts know. Seeing these two brothers that Rachel Van Dyken to be opposite from each other yet are actually closer than they think. Loved it.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”

“You’re the annoying twin, aren’t you?”
I narrowed my eyes at the back of her head. “Actually, I’m the charming one.”
She looked over her shoulder. “Hmm, can’t see it.”
Finding Him was beautifully emotional and one of my favorite books this year! By that first chapter, I already had tears in my eyes. Twice. And as the story unfolded, I had tears for a past love story, tears for brothers and of course tears for Julian and Keaton. But there was also so much to smile and swoon about. This book was sexy, funny and had the best banter. So if you're a fan of romance, a tortured hero and the most beautiful happily ever after, definitely add this one to your list. I can't recommend it enough!
“You’re going to get drunk while I take care of our basic human needs?”
“Think of it this way . . .”He smirked. “If you don’t build a fire, we’re going to have to get naked and share body heat, and I highly doubt that would be your first choice, since you’re already so fucking frigid.”
I almost picked up the knife.
I almost threw it at his perfect face.
Instead, I took the high road, flipped him off, and went in search of my coat.
Julian and Keaton got off on the wrong foot, and then some. Julian was forced to get away from life and find some peace after waking up from a coma, losing his fiancée to his twin brother, and having his mother pass away. Keaton wanted to write her past love story, but away from all of the lime light. Neither of them expected to find someone else at that cabin. And neither of them wanted to be the one to leave. So what unfolded was an emotional roller coaster that had me completely addicted.
Because my heart might as well have been buried in that casket next to my mom’s. God knows that’s how my soul felt, like the dirt was trying to pull me under, trying to bury me along with my mother.
I was just as dead as she was.
And I had to wonder if maybe, maybe the world was better off without Julian Tennyson fully existing in it.
Julian fascinated me in Stealing Her, and as we got to know him in this story, I loved him even more than Bridge. His thoughts bled from the pages, since he was consumed by the pain of his past. His decisions, actions and who he was haunted him at every waking moment. Yes he had done horrific things, but at the same time it felt like he had been so easily cast aside. His whole world changed in the blink of an eye. So of course he was an asshole to those around him. Especially when we saw how little he thought of himself. He broke my heart again and again. So tortured doesn't even begin to describe Julian. Yet, he could be so thoughtful and considerate. Well, when he wanted to be lol.
I would always need a weapon and armor.
Because Julian Tennyson up close was lethal.
And Julian Tennyson thinking about me, holding me in his arms, felt too good.
I shivered again.
And while Julian was battling his own demons, Keaton was there. She was sassy and I loved how she had no problem standing up to him. She would go toe to toe with him and wouldn't back down! They definitely didn't like each other in the beginning, and they had no qualms letting the other know it. It was awkward and funny, and I loved how the messed with each other. The "test" had me laughing so hard I was gasping for air!
“Just because you type the end to one story doesn’t mean you don’t get to start another,” he said wisely as he stood and made his way back to the stove.
Yet at the same time, Keaton had her own personal struggles. Her parents were celebrities and she was a social media sensation. Keaton fell in love with a normal guy who sadly ended up passing away from cancer. And she was writing their love story for a book. So while there was lightness within Keaton, she was still drowning in her own pain too. Just like Julian.
We were polar opposites. The media painted me like a saint. And Julian Tennyson? Hell’s number -one sinner.
I wasn’t stupid enough to believe it was just mind-blowing sex.
It wasn’t.
Not with Julian.
It felt raw, aggressive, violent in the way it crashed over me every time he touched me.
Finding Him truly had it all. There was love, friendship, redemption, forgiveness and it was emotional every step of the way. There was also sexual tension, steamy moments and scenes that had me laughing so hard. And the journey Julian and Keaton faced, after leaving the cabin, had me even more obsessed with what would happen next. Finding Him had everything I always look for in a romance novel. It was uplifting while also gutting. If made me laugh, smile, cry and best of all, I fell madly in love. This story will always hold a special place in my heart and I hope you'll discover Finding Him too!
