A Real Review:
Thank you to Skyscape for providing the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Sometimes, life moves on even when we don't anticipate it to. When that happens, it leaves you with an unfortunate choice: leave what you had behind to start over or desperately try to get it all back. For Julian, that is the choice after he wakes up for a coma.

Julian woke up to a very different world than he left behind. Waking up from his coma, he finds that his estranged twin brother has taken his spot at the company he owned, along with the fiance he left behind. In the wake of all this, he heads to his family's secluded cabin in Vermont to spend time alone and readjust. Life has other plans though when he arrives to see a renter there: social media star Keaton. Will their collective pain give them a chance to heal together or fall apart?

This is one of those quick romance reads for sure, with two lead characters who end up healing one another. Because they come from different circles and lifestyles, they provide perspective one another needs to move forward with their lives.

That being said, I really don't think this should be categorized as young adult. Considering the content and life stages these two are at, it would make far more sense to call this new adult. I get that a lot of adults read YA (I am one of them), but it's misleading to label it YA when the content doesn't match that.

A tale of two people healing together.

My rating: 3 out of 5

Awesome story! I was so excited to come home each day to finish reading this. It was so easy to fall in love with both Keaton and Noah’s love story and also Keaton and Julian’s love story.
I really didn’t want this book to end and enjoyed every page. This author has quickly become one of my favorites. Can’t wait to read more from her.
Thanks NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest opinion.

Thank you to Netgalley and Skyscape for a copy of this Arc for an honest review!

WOW!!! This book deals with personal lost between 2 characters and 2 different circumstances. This deals with trying to move on and getting on with life. Keaton Westbrook is a social media superstar who gets stranded with a billionaire in a wintery day in a cabin. The last thing these two wanted to do was have to be stranded together complete strangers.

I loved this book. A guilty pleasure that I can pick up and read in one sitting. Rachel VanDyken's stories grasping me from the beginning and I just dont want to put down until I get to the end. Such a sad but great read.

We got to see Bridge’s story; now it’s Julian’s turn. What happens after Julian wakes from his coma to find his world utterly shaken? Julian has to overcome the betrayal of his twin and fiancée while Keaton is striving to overcome her own demons. When they end up trapped in the same place, will test their limits with each other. Rachel Van Dyken never fails to come through in a big way in all of her novels. This one struck me specifically with its sense of strength that had to come from the two main characters in order to get to where they end up. Both Julian and Keaton have so much growing that they have to do and so much past that they have to overcome. Rachel Van Dyken successfully employed these dynamic characters.

There were quite a few times at the beginning of the novel that I was really rooting for Keaton to just punch Julian for his words or behavior, but that just made him that much more interesting. I loved the character development that went along with these characters’ personalities. The storyline was, of course, amazing. As is the norm with Rachel Van Dyken’s books. If you’re looking for a book with a great storyline that contains some mildly heavy topics, look no further than this book!

A snowed-in, one-night stand romance!

I enjoyed Stealing Her a lot, and really wanted Julian to have his HEA as well.

Julian is understandably angry and feeling lost after accomplishing his goal of removing his father from power. On top of that, he's reeling from the loss of his mother. A trip to their family cabin is in order. But there's one problem - the cabin has been rented out to Keaton Westbrook - a woman who's romance with a terminal cancer patient dominated the headlines. Keaton is trying to fulfill Noah's dying wish that Keaton write their story. Julian turns out to be the strength that Keaton needs.

I love, love, loved this book! Keaton's struggles with public opinion and their need to immortalize her and Noah's love story was heartbreaking. Especially when paired with Julian's feeling of never being someone's priority. His notes in the margin of Keaton's book just melted my heart. Definitely one of my all time favorites by RVD!

As usual Rachel Van Dyken pulled me in quickly and didn't let go until the end of the book. It was an emotional ride with both Keaton and Julian. They each had traumatic events in their lives that they were dealing with and they helped each other pull themselves out of it. Book had some humor, tears, and steamy parts with a great ending.

This book was everything! Their love was everything! I devoured every second of the story. In all honesty I was very emotional, I've been sad, I have cried, I have laughed and I cheered for them. It was the perfect story for Julian and Keaton, the ending they deserved. I couldn't wish better outcome for them.

They met, although somewhat inconveniently, each grieving their personal loss.  What they haven't expected was to find themselves snowed in and feel attracted to one another.

Keaton was supposed to write book about the loss of her first love but she couldn't .....due to her broken heart and due to frost bite.  When Julian offered his typing skills she was finally able to tell her story to slowly let go.

Unknowing, though their past entwined and they both could go through the grieve together while working chapter after chapter. He's changed, he promised to become the one person who would made his late mother proud. She's tried to avoid the influence of social media but it was hard to read the negative comments. One step forward, two steps back.

What they haven't meant was to fall in love or were they destined for it to happen?

There are no other words except I immediately fell in love with both characters and absolutely adored the whole story.

If you read Stealing Her, then you know exactly who Julian is! Although in Book 1 he wasn’t easy to like, we know there was a whole lot more going on and he wasn’t completely heartless and ruthless. I definitely wanted to see Julian get his happy ending, so I jumped into this book as soon as possible! While reading Stealing Her isn’t necessary to enjoy Finding Him, I highly recommend it, not just because it gives you more insight, but because it’s freaking amazing!

Keaton and Julian find themselves in a rather awkward situation when a snowstorm has them stranded together when they both wanted to be alone. This was made worse by the fact that they’re both sad and grieving, but also because Julian can’t seem to stop being an a$$hole! They initially hate each other, but soon discover some common ground and a sizzling chemistry. Suddenly being together, sharing their pain seems so much better than being alone. As much as they’d love to stay in the bubble they found themselves in, the outside world calls and it seemed nothing would be the same. The need they discover they have for each other...to heal, to be calm, to move forward, overrides everything. However, fear of letting go of the past, of guilt and public personas stands in their way of happiness.

Julian ended up being the most swoon worthy man imaginable and if someone had told me before starting this book that my heart would break for Julian, I don’t think I would’ve believed them! RVD stole my breath with her beautiful words. This is such an emotional and moving story of love and healing.

A witty book that has made me laugh, cringe and cry. The two main characters of Keaton & Julian were great together. Kind of wanted the hate the brother and his fiancé after what they have done to Julian, but he forgives them so I guess we have to too. It was a great humorous read that also had me in tears in some parts. I really liked the writing style, it was my first introduction to this author. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read this book.

Julian and Keaton are beautiful! Julian and Keaton are trying to get away and end up at the cabin together. Julian is running after his coma and his mother’s death. His brother Bridge has his ex fiancée and she is pregnant with Bridges’s baby. Keaton is mourning her first love’s death. Cancer took him too soon. They were America’s sweethearts. Can Julian find a place in Keaton’s heart? Will the nation let her move on? Julian is truly the book boyfriend of all book boyfriends—super swoony! This book has all the feels! 5 stars

Finding Him is the second book in Rachel Van Dyken's Covet series and is the first book I've read by her. It's the story of Julian and Keaton and the struggle to accept a relationship with each other. Julian is a wealthy bachelor who recently woke up from a month long coma to find that his fiancée has fallen in love with his twin brother, on top of that he is also still dealing with his mother's death. He decides with some pressure from his brother to retreat to his families cabin where he finds Keaton already staying there much to his anger. Keaton is a media figure who lost her first love a year ago to cancer and is escaping to the cabin to write a story about their love. Both of them trying to escape but they find each other. A beautiful romance novel that I enjoyed from start to finish.

I was very excited to read this book! This book will make you laugh and cry as you follow the story of Julian and Keaton. The pair become unlikely partners as they work through their own personal grief. A must read and excellent conclusion to the Covet series!

I truly enjoyed the second book in the Covet series by Rachel Van Dyken. In book one, Julian was made out to be an insensitive, greedy, selfish man who cared about one thing - himself. In this book, we get to meet the real Julian, and see that perhaps he isn't so bad after all. After waking up from a coma, Julian realized that he was no longer in a position to make all the decisions. His brother Bridge, along with the support of the board, forces him to get away to find himself again. It's at this point, upon confusion and a misunderstanding, that Julian meets Keaton, a woman who, like Julian, needs to find herself. This unlikely duo settle down after butting heads, realizing they have more in common than initially thought. The emotion that Rachel Van Dyken is able to portray through her writing makes this yet again, a book I just couldn't put down. I can't wait to see what else she has in store for her readers!

Finding Him by RVD was definitely a favorite. I loved every minute of it. I loved the sweet swoon of Julian. I love the heartbreaking story within a story. My heart bled for Keaton and the horrendous heartbreak she had to face of losing her first love. I devoured it like a warm chocolate chip cookie! ;)

“I, Julian Tennyson, had a fucking crush.”

RVD shows she’s not just a mafia queen, but she pulls all the stops when writing this emotional and heartwarming tale of finding the one when you least expect it. Cue tears, Jesus I tell you RVD didn’t hold back. I was captivated and couldn’t put the book down even when I had tears streaming down my face. Honest moment, Julian blew Bridge right out the water. Talk about a favorite twin.

“Because . . .” He sighed and wrapped an arm around me, pulling me close. “When I touch you, I don’t feel so alone.”

All in all, this was an amazing read. I love the writing. I love the characters. I enjoyed the drama so much. My heart was ripped out my chest at parts and healed at the end. RVD has always been a favorite author and very rarely does she disappoint.

This was my first Rachel Van Dyken book and it was wonderful! I am now tempted to go back and read the first book in the Covet series.

Now you do not HAVE to read the first book to enjoy this one, but I’m sure it probably gives the characters more of a background. Van Dyken still did a fantastic job of giving you enough history to enjoy her characters in this book.

Keaton and Julian are the MCs and they were both likable and understandable leaders. The circumstances in which they are thrown together are sad, but the strength is delicious. It almost gives the reader strength for themselves. The dialogue is well written and it was not cheesy like other romance books can be.

I enjoyed this book so much that I think I will add Rachel Van Dyken to my favorite authors list now!!
This is definitely a book I would recommend to other romance readers.

“I knew, clear as day. My job was to help her. And maybe, just maybe, by doing that, I would earn a bit of myself back. If I stopped her hurt—maybe I’d stop bleeding.”

This book has soooo many emotions intertwined throughout...loss, heartache, redemption, closure, healing, anger, jealousy, love, humor, forgiveness, guilt...get ready for your heart to get tugged at.

“I didn’t let people get close to me for a reason; I was afraid to trust them with things that mattered. And there were things, so many things. Things I hadn’t even admitted to myself.”

As you are devouring the pages you will feel like you have actually lived through the feel goods, heartache, new beginnings, closing chapters, finding self worth, seeing past the facade, pursuing dreams, finding self-worth, illness, living, grieving and a struggle to find a happily ever after.

“..you fight for love because the minute you have a taste of it, you realize why wars are fought in honor of it. It’s the most precious thing in the world, and it’s worth waiting for . . . and fighting for.”

Keaton Westbrook is a social media superstar struggling with her own private grief of losing her boyfriend to cancer. Julian just woke up from a coma and found out his estranged twin brother Bridge had basically replaced him in life and even taken his fiancée. Well that would be a lot for anyone he also recently lost his mom.

This book was hard for me to read. I just lost my mom this year from cancer. It's still a grieving process for me and I liked that it showed Julian and Keaton going through their own grief. It showed how hard it is to move on after losing someone, how sometimes anger is easier than showing how sad you are and that even though someone died those that are left behind still have to move on and live their lives. How much of an impact it is losing your mom.

I liked how the relationship between Keaton and Julian was slower than the last few relationships Rachel has written. I love that they bonded over their grief and let it heal them together. I loved the witty banter between the two and just how realistic this book was. When I read the first book I felt bad for Julian so I am glad he got his own book. He deserved it. Overall, this book hurt me and healed me while reading it.

I loved LOVED Stealing her, it was a perfect contemporary romance read that had me so engrossed I had to read in one go. I knew Finding him would have to be amazing to live up to my expectation.

It wasn't as good as the first book BUT it was still a great read full of angst and romance in it.
Rachel's writing is, as usual, amazing and the dialogue is brilliant.
Julian is amazing, ah Julian, he was so wonderful and thoughtful and just so, so... perfect which made me a bit angry at Keaton even though I somewhat understood her reluctance.
Either way, it was still a 4 star book and I totally recommend it.
Can be read as part of the series or as a stand alone. Although would definitely recommend reading Stealing her first.

Finding Him takes place four months after Stealing Her, which is four months after Julian wakes up from his coma to find his world has completely changed. He is still trying to deal with this new change and the grief of losing his mom when his company forces him to take a three-week vacation. He decided to visit his old family cabin where he had a lot of great memories with his mom.

Keaton Westbrook is the daughter of A-list celebrities. She is known for being the girlfriend of a regular guy with cancer. Noah, her boyfriend, passed away earlier in the year, and she is determined to complete Noah’s dying wish: to tell their story. She rented a cabin for thirty days to get away from the world so she could grieve and write their story.

Julian and Keaton find themselves in the same cabin, and when a storm comes in, they are forced to spend the night together. They end up opening up to each other, and Julian helps Keaton write her story, falling in love along the way; however, he doesn’t think he can compete with Noah and Keaton doesn’t want her reputation tarnished by being seen with a playboy.

I loved this story more than I thought I would. It was definitely a lot better than the first book in the series. I enjoyed Julian and Keaton together, and I loved how they were both struggling with grief, and could understand what the other person was going through. I thought the author did a great job writing this story and writing from the characters' perspectives. I liked that every chapter alternated between Julian and Keaton. It was nice seeing how Julian completely changed as a person while he was with Keaton. Instead of being angry that his life was taken from him while he was in a coma, he was finally happy.

I did find the book predictable, but that didn’t stop me from loving it. I would recommend this series if you enjoy contemporary romances about millionaires/billionaires. There was some things in the book that did not seem accurate; however, it is a huge spoiler, so I will not say exactly what it was. Besides that, I really enjoyed the book and could not put it down. I will definitely be reading more books by this author, even though I don’t typically read a lot of books from their genre. (I normally read New Adult and Young Adult).
