After reading and loving the first book, I was so excited to get my hands on Finding Him! I needed to know what happens with Julian! I was NOT disappointed! This book is sexy and tons of fun! It also has a lot of heart and sweet moments. I wasn't sure about Keaton at first but I loved her! Her story brought heart to this book. It made her connection with Julian feel more real and vulnerable.

What a shocker... i liked it... very, very much.

I have to say that whenever i see a new book of Rachel van Dyken my finger automatically finds the "buy now" - button ^^ *wavesalittlefangirlflag*

So after reading "Stealing her", the first installement in this series, i had to also have "Finding him".
And it was even better than the first one.

The story between Julian and Keaton, their tragic past, the dark side of the media and how the together overcome their fear and guilt was really beautiful. Sure the ending is a little bit on the fairytale side (therefore "only" 4 stars), but hey who doesn't need some fairy dust?

Thanks Rachel (and keep on hitting the keys *flagwavingagain*^^)

I've been impatiently waiting for Julian's story since I finished Stealing Her. I have to admit that I had a bit of a bad taste in my mouth when it came Julian's ultimate betrayal. It just didn't sit well with me, even in the name of love, it was tough for me to get through his brother's book. And that just fueled my need to have his story.

Where do I even begin? I never craved someone's happily ever after until I met Julian Tennyson. We get to know quite a bit about him from the first book in the Covet series, Stealing Her. And my goodness, my heart was completely broken for him. A man who was in a coma and come to realize that he needed to become a better person and to not be like his father. And then he wakes up and everything he was ready to face, completely shattered him. My heart could not handle it.

His path towards healing was absolutely everything that I needed and more. Being stuck in a cabin with Keaton was the best thing that could have ever happened to him. Maybe the best thing that could have happened to the both of them. Both very broken and dealing with their grief.

RVD really brought out all the stops for this one and it comes out entirely through her words. The pain, the grief and the absolute heartache. I felt every bit of it down to my soul. And I could not tell you the amount of times I had to take a break to have a little cry sesh.

Such a beautifully written story that I simply couldn't get enough of. Finding Him definitely makes my top favorite for 2020.

I loved this book! I had no love loss for Julien in Stealing Her. He was 110% redeemed in Finding him. I loved Keaton’s story so much.

I wait for Julian story and is worth it. Keaton is a sweetheart Hollywood daughter, julian is a billionaire bachelor in the city, with a broken heart. They meet in a cabin in the woods, a stormy night bring them together and that's how their story begins.
I enjoy reading this book and recommend it. I cry and laugh with Keaton and Julian. Also enjoy the interactions with Izzy and Bridge.

2.5 Stars

Julian Tennyson woke up from a coma to discover that his twin brother was now engaged to his fiancee and they were expecting a baby together. To add insult to injury, then his beloved mother passed away. Julian has to get away, so he heads for his family's isolated cabin hoping for some time to himself...only to discover someone else is there, too. Keaton Westbrook is a social media darling thanks to the fact that her parents are famous actors, and the world watched her fall in love with a cancer patient in the hospital where she was volunteering. She needs some time to herself, too, to keep her final promise to Noah and write down their story. She didn't count on a spoiled, cocky rich guy ruining her escape to the isolated cabin she and Noah had picked off a rental site as perfect for the honeymoon they never got to take. So now Julia and Keaton are stuck together in the cabin in a blizzard with no cell reception, and they're both pretty upset about it. Until they kind of get to know each other a little and realize the other person isn't nearly as bad as they first thought and might just become someone they can't live without.

I read the first book in this series. I was pleasantly surprised at what a good story it was and how sympathetic the characters were despite doing things that were a little hard to defend (like stealing your brother's fiancee while he's in a coma). I'm disappointed to say that for me, this one didn't love up to the promise of Stealing Her. First of all, it could benefit from a few more rounds of editing (which are most likely still to come since what I read was an ARC) to check for continuity. During their time in the cabin, the timeline was very disjointed and it was hard to tell what was happening when. Second, and this is a SPOILER, I personally found it a little too manipulative (not to mention repetitive since it happens in the first book, too) that the heroine winds up pregnant and that's a big factor in the two characters realizing their "forever-love" for each other.

I will say that the second half of the book was far stronger than the first (which is why I gave it an extra half star back), so the finished product might end up as a much better Book #2 than what I read. I do enjoy a lot of the story ideas this author comes up with, so I'll keep checking out her books.

Coming out of a coma was one hell of a wake-up call. While I was in the dark, my estranged twin brother, Bridge, had replaced me in the company I owned and swept up my fiancée in the takeover. With my ruthless reputation, can I blame them for falling in love? I have to look long and hard at where I’ve been and where I’m headed. Alone time? The universe has other plans.

Our family’s secluded Vermont cabin comes with a gorgeous—if at first, unwelcoming—surprise. She’s renter Keaton Westbrook, a social media superstar struggling with her own private grief. As a winter storm bears down, we’ve found something to keep us warm—an intimacy neither of us expected and both of us need.

After we say goodbye, what happens then? Keaton and I are longing to reconcile with our painful pasts. I can’t bear to do it without her. Is it too much to ask of fate to give us a second chance at life and love?

After reading the first book in the Covet series, Stealing Her, I wasn’t really sure I wanted to read Julian’s story. However, while I liked Stealing Her, I absolutely loved Finding Him!!! Once I started reading this book, I didn’t stop until I had finished because I was so wrapped up in the story.

When we last saw Julian, he had just awoken from a coma to find that his twin brother was marrying his fiancé and had taken his place in the family company. He did reunite with his mom, but she dies shortly after and he’s struggling with his grief. Bridge suggests a trip to their family cabin so Julian to could try to get peace and heal.

Keaton Westbrooke is dealing with grief of her own. She was a social influencer who had fallen in love with a cancer patient, Noah and she was supposed to be writing their story. She rented the Tennyhill cabin because that’s where Noah had always wanted to visit. When Julian shows up, they hate each other immediately, but after being forced to spend time together at the cabin due to a blizzard, feelings begin to change and Julian offers to help Keaton write her book.

This was truly a redemption story for Julian. You began to understand his actions in Stealing Her and you could see why he was so broken. When he began helping Keaton write her story, he found his peace and was able to grieve his mom and rediscover his true self. The Julian that was revealed was swoonworthy

Writing the book helped Keaton grieve Noah and come to terms with his death, but she was still afraid of what people thought about her. I loved watching her evolve and become stronger. I’ll admit I was also frustrated with her at times as well.

Finding Him was a wonderful story of redemption and two people coming together despite their grief. The story comes full circle and the ending was perfection. I highly recommend this book.

Wow. This book. I definitely had tears in my eyes when I finished Finding Him at midnight (hence the coffee). The real, raw emotion was spot on. I think I liked it even more than the first book. I loved the continuation of the story from book one but with a new focus on Julian. I loved the relationship between Julian and Keaton and how it progressed. I am a sucker for an epilogue and this one perfectly encapsulated both books and relationships.

Rachel Van Dyken has done it again. Not only did I fall in love with these characters but I stayed up all night reading this book.

First let's talk about the big elephant in the room, Julian. After reading the first book in this series, I didn't think I would love Julian. I figured I might like him because of character growth but I loved him. I think seeing his perspective and the way he thinks just really connected us to him. The grief of losing his mother and fiancee in a short amount of time was done beautifully because I cried. From the first book we know the relationship Bridge and Julian have with their father, but this book just showed how much they love their mother and the heartbreak that Julian is going through losing her.

Now Keaton, my beautiful knife skilled goddess. From the beginning, we instantly connect and love Keaton. Her grief over losing Noah really connects you to her and makes you want to cry because I did. Her witty banter and her comebacks had me rolling. At the end, she made me want to take this book and smack her on the back of her head. I get that losing Noah was big but throughout this entire story she was remembering him saying he wanted her to be happy. So Dear Keaton, BE HAPPY.

There was only thing that I didn't like and that was Keaton and Noah's love story in the chapters. Once Noah died, Keaton was offered a book deal to write about their story. When Julian and Keaton got stuck in the cabin, they started writing the book together.Honestly, I kind of didn't care about Keaton and Noah's love story. I get that it's supposed to connect you to Keaton and her grief but when I was reading it, I just skimmed those sections. Which is bad and should be illegal. However, this is a personal thing so I don't recommend it. I usually don't read the moments when the main character is remembering someone who died because it either makes me bored and want to put the book down and do something else or takes me out of the story.

But in the end, I still loved this book. The witty banter between Julian and Keaton will have you dying of laughter. The grief and pain they go through will make you cry. But most importantly, reading them save each other will make you love this book and them.

Another great one from Rachel Van Dyken, I couldn’t put this one down. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about Julian but the story made you fall in love with him. Him and Keaton made an adorable couple. I think I loved it more than the first

Finding Him by Rachel Van Dyken a five-star read that you will find amazing. This is the second novel in the Covet series, as I would definitely recommend reading them in order to get the most out of them, and I have to admit I loved this one so much harder than the first. This is filled with lose and drama, and the author deals so well with everything helping you to understand facing loss and moving on, the loss of an old life and the beginning of a new one, loss of relationships and moving on, building new relationships and not just with a significant other, building friendships as well. This is a great story and a series that you can’t miss.

I have found an amazing new book that brought me to an all time low 36% of the way in. yep, I was ugly crying 36% in..... I'm not sure what 2020 has brought us but so far this year I have ugly cried through three books. Did authors go to a conference last year for sadists or something?

I did not read the first in this series but the book does a great job of explaining book one.... Bridge stole Julian's girl while he was in a coma. All the feels in this amazing story, the author is a crafted storyteller.

What did I like? The story itself read just like a movie. I would expect the same sequence and imagery if Id been watching it. I bet this would make a great Hallmark show. The story itself was so real to me that 36% in I embarrassed myself and had an ugly cry. Keaton was an amazing person, and I fell in love with her myself by the time I was done!

Would I buy this book? Yes, buy yourself a paperback copy and keep it. This story was so good. If you haven't read book one then grab it. The author does such a good job telling the stories that they feel like old friends.

Thoughts for the author? Did you attend a sadist class with fellow authors? This book brought so many feels. I had a book hangover for two days. I'm supposed to read 600 books this year and you didn't help. I loved it though. Five huge hung the moon stars.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

After the first book, I was looking forward to see Julian's story. He has come out of his coma to find that his fiance is married to his twin brother and that brother is also running his company better than he had. While Julian knows that he has made some mistakes, it is easier to blame everything on his brother!

Both Julian and Keaton are grieving when they meet by accident at the cabin. Keaton's story is even sadder than Julian's as her fiance died of cancer and she is still not getting past his death and agreed to write their story in a book.

Parts of the book were so sad when she remembers past events with Noah for the book.. As they grow closer, they start to heal a bit but you could see that Keaton cared a bit too much about what her followers thought about her life. I loved when Julian finally confronted her about this and she realized how badly she had hurt him.

While Julian could be annoying, he really wasn't as bad since he woke from the coma. He seemed to have "woke up" and acknowledged the mistakes he had made and was learning from them.

I loved the ending when the two couples were together and were all happy with their lives!

Wow! Rachel Van Dyken sure has a way with words. This was the first book I’d read by the author and it definitely won’t be the last. I was hooked from the minute Julian entered the cabin and I couldn’t put the book down until I had finished it! I absolutely loved this story and how heartwarming it was, the characters were loveable and I can’t wait to read more from this author!!

I hadn’t read a Rachel Van Dyken book in awhile prior to Finding Him. Although I haven’t read the first book in the Covet series, I enjoyed this one enough that I would go back and read the first book. Keaton and Julian were both really likable characters. I especially liked Julian and was rooting for him as a reformed playboy/jerk. Finding Him is about two people grieving the loss of loved ones who find themselves snowed in in a remote cabin together. An unlikely bond forms while they are stuck in the cabin depending on each other and they find themselves at peace in a way they haven’t been in a long time. This was about finding both themselves again and each other while learning to move on with their lives. I didn’t pull an all nighter for this one and there were no crazy twists or surprises but it was a good read.

Julian Tennyson's, millionaire with a ruthless reputation, life fell apart while he was in a coma. Waking up to find out his estranged twin brother replaced him in every way that mattered and coping with the loss of his mom the only place he wants to be is his family's secluded cabin. Unfortunately for him, there's an unexpected guest, Keaton Westbrook. Keaton, america's sweetheart, and social media influencer has one month to write her tragic love story while mourning the death of her boyfriend, but the words just won't come. Needing time and space to think she rents a cabin in the woods to escape the media. Now they're stranded together, and an unlikely bond forms, but what happens when they have to leave safety and seclusion?

I've been waiting for this book since I read an ARC of Stealing Her 6 months ago, and I absolutely wasn't disappointed. It's such a rollercoaster, I found myself loving and mourning Noah, enjoying the excerpts from Keaton's book, no matter how heartbreaking they were. I felt for her when she was afraid to move on because of other people's opinions but ultimately realized that she needed to be happy. Equally heartbreaking was Julian, even though he was a pretty terrible person before his coma, you could see the changes he made, how he wanted to be a better person but still struggled with his demons. This is a beautiful angsty book, a punch in the heart with moments of humor brought mostly by Noah. Definitely recommend.
