ARC received in exchange for fair and honest review.
Rachel Van Dyken is on my one click list. Finding him is a roller coaster of emotions, first love and perhaps true love all rolled into one. I cried many times during this one but so glad to see Julian fall head over heels with Keaton. Wish there was more in this series.

*Received an ARC for an honest review* Ever since reading the first Covet book, I'd been eagerly awaiting the second book and Bridges story, his redemption. I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed, but I wasn't expecting such a raw, emotional, and gut wrenching story. And it wasn't even Bridges story really that utterly destroyed me, it was Keaton's story. As someone who's lost and watched a couple close loved ones struggle and lose the battle with incurable health issues, her story resonated so deeply with me, that was what kept me reading, hungry so see this story's conclusion. It was through helping her the emotional aftermath of loss that we find Bridges story, and it's an amazingly beautiful, raw, relatable, and real story. Loved it!

An extraordinary reading experience

Finding Him is one of the most emotional reads by RVD I ever had the honor of reading. It gives you all the feels and chills in all the right ways.
Julian and Keaton both have experienced the unimaginable. Both suffered heartbreak and loss to an extent that is heart wrenching to the reader.
Believe me when I say their journey to each other will soothe your soul. There will be tears and laughter, angsty and funny moments.
You will sit on the edge of your chair the entire time until you finally close this book with a sigh that comes deep from the heart.
Rachel created a story of love and forgiveness, not only towards someone else but also towards oneself, as this sometimes can be the hardest of all.
I recommend this book 100% as it is an extraordinary reading experience . 5+ Stars!!!

I've been so excited for find out more about Julian after I finished reading Stealing Her, the first book in this series. There's something about Rachel van Dyken that makes a reader know for certain who's the ideal book boyfriend, only to come around with a new release and making one doubt your choice, falling in love with a new potential book boyfriend. So I can't even say if Julian is better than Bridge. I don't have to choose, do I?

Sure enough, I think both books involve a lot of depth. I've come to realise that Mrs. van Dyken becomes more and more adult-ish when it comes to her stories. Or she's just hoping for her readers' tears, that might be it, too. Having read Stealing Her first, I thought my heart was beyond repair. There was so much pain and ache, but also so much swoon-worthy scenes and so much love, it was beautiful. Coming to think of it, I think there was just more to it than it was in Finding Him. Probably because Bridge and Julian's life had to be told at first, there was so much background information we got, the story revolved around more than it does in the second book. I'm not saying that's a bat thing, I'm just saying that this story seemed a bit more surface-like. We already knew what Julian had to go through in his childhood. There wasn't much new information we got, other than that he's amazing and has a big heart, which you would have never figured after the first book in the series and according to the way he treated Isobel.

Anyway... There story in this one focused on pain. The raw kind. Keaton's grief is heartbreaking, earth-shattering. Rachel van Dyken does an amazing job of finding just the right words in order to describe Keaton's thoughts and her fears. And seriously, I realized that she doesn't even need that many words. But she chooses just the right ones, the exact kind needed for this. Maybe they're flying to her or maybe she's just that much in her character's worlds that it all feels natural. I'm in awe, really. Even though Keaton sometimes got on my nerves as well. Especially when she was so afraid of other people's opinions, of what they would say. When actually, all that mattered was that Julian had become this swoon-worthy type of guy. I wanted her to see that!

In the beginning, when Julian and Keaton are snowed in, I wasn't sure whether this would really be my kind of story. It seemed so predictable, which is why I was glad not the whole plot is actually set here. We got into both heads, we understood both of their feelings also when they were in their real worlds again.

Every once in a while, the reader will get to read flashback scenes. I've come to dislike those for some reason in the recent past, but Rachel van Dyken wouldn't be one of my ultimate favorite authors if she took my fear and raised her middle finger at it. Seriously though, I liked those a lot! And again, I think it's in her magic for the words, for creating scenes that my heart just can't cope with, but melting it at the same time. I've come to like Noah, I felt Keaton's pain so much. And while I'd be usually cheering for just one team (team Julian obviously!), you also get a glimpse of the life she had with Noah and find yourself liking him, too. He was described a good person, the purest kind of good.

I'm really sad this series will be two books only, though it makes perfect sense since it's about two brothers. Anyway, I will cherish the Covet series forever. It was really special.

Amazing. Simply amazing and it should come as no surprise that Rachel Van Dyken has produced another satisfying book full of emotion.

Julian Tennyson has had a rude awakening. After being in a coma, he woke up to find out that his twin brother not only took over his company but also stole his fiancé. Knowing himself and acknowledging that he’s spent a lifetime trying to please his heartless father, can he blame them? But facing tragedy and death has made him change his outlook in life.

Keaton Westbrook is not only a social media queen, she was born America’s sweetheart with her Hollywood royalty parents. But tragedy is indiscriminate and she must now pour her heart into a book she can’t bring herself to write. She rented a cabin in the woods to be alone with her grief and computer, but she found a sexy, surly man willing to listen and help.

Forced to take a vacation, Julian finds Keaton in his cabin and end up trapped together. Both broken and mourning, they not only find solace in each other, they form a deep bond based on that allows their hearts and souls to start healing in ways they never would have imagined. But what happens when the time comes to part ways? Will life allow them to get a second chance a love?

After reading Stealing Her, book #1 of the Covet series, I couldn’t fathom how Julian could find happiness. His life had become a cluster of hurt and regret. But to form, Rachel expertly pens a touching story of two broken souls who find and help each other that was impossible to put down. I smiled, and cried and swooned from start to finish.

It was impossible not to fall for both characters. Even though Keaton’s recent past is heartbreaking, she is most definitely a strong woman. As for Julian, his journey towards redemption is equally touching and could have only been achieved with Keaton’s help, because while Julian helped her write her story he was forced to open his own heart, forgive himself and forgive his brother.

Finding Him is book #2 of the Covet series by author Rachel Van Dyken. It is a standalone contemporary romance told from both points of view with happy ending.

This is the second book in the series and, after reading the first book, I didn't know if I could or would be able to like Julian. He wasn't such a redeeming character in the first book about his twin brother, Bridge. Of course, his fiancée was duped and fell for his identical twin brother thinking it was him! I was pleasantly surprised that after coming out of the coma Julian had changed. He is dealing with the loss of his mother and of his prior life and doesn't know how to deal with it. He isn't really handling it well when the story starts. He is sent on vacation for awhile to relax and in doing so, runs into Keaton, who has rented his cabin without him knowing it.
Keaton Westbrook is dealing with her own loss and it's a very public loss as an Instagram influencer. Everyone knows who she is, her story and her loss. That's a lot to deal with when she is trying to heal. Julian and Keaton are so sweet together. After their initial meeting, where Julian is a jerk, they seem to balance each other out as they both try to heal.
This a wonderful (and sad) book about dealing with heartbreak and recovery.

After waking up from a coma and learning that he had lost everything that meant anything to him was completely devastating. Due to his father's greed, his brother was forced to step in and assume his life while he laid in a hospital bed, leaving him to wake with nothing he had before, including the woman he loved. Now he is at a complete loss, not sure what life holds for him now.

But a chance encounter with a beautiful angel named Keaton at his families cabin is about to breath new life into his broken and battered heart...

Finding Him is a beautifully penned story of loss, finding love and new beginnings. Watching these two come together was heart-rending and uplifting at the same time, both carrying so much hurt in their hearts, both dealing with unimaginable loss, and their love bringing them renewed joy. Their pasts unite them, spark a mutual understanding, and spawn new feelings of love they never thought were possible again. Page after page these two pulled me deeper into their lives, quickly earning my support, and stealing my full attention and touching my heart. There was a lot to love about this one, it's words were emotional and touching, and it's characters endearing and welcoming... it was a perfect literary escape! Highly recommend!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

Okay first let me say that Rachel Van Dyken has this unique ability to tell a story that pulls you in and refuses to let go until the last page is read! She writes with emotion, passion and truth that literally has me barely holding on as all the emotion, pain and love come jumping off the pages!
Keaton was this young, beautiful woman that had this wonderful, caring personality but was struggling to find her self after a devastating loss.
Julian Tennyson was a rich, egomaniac, forced to take a break and deal with the chaos his life had become, waking up from a coma, the death of his mother and his fiancé married to someone else.
These two truly had nothing in common but heartache and a desperate need to be alone but somehow they end up stuck alone on a mountain in a snowstorm together. What could possibly go wrong?? Well a lot of things shift and the relationship grows from enemies to friends to something somewhere in between.
This novel was written with all the feels, passion and angst of two broken people trying to find their happiness and move on even when the odds are stacked against them!
Rachel Van Dyken has written a story that will pull at your heartstrings, have you throwing your kindle and then smiling at the end!!
I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves a story that has all the feels and will leave you smiling at the end!!

Finding Him is book two in the Covet series. It is romantic, angsty and steamy, mixed up with some drama. The story flows easily and captured me from the beginning just like it did with Stealing Her. Although it is book two in the series I feel it can be read as a stand-alone. There are small explanations that fill in the gaps. This is Julian’s story.....

"Maybe it was because she wasn’t scared of me.
Maybe it was because she was genuine and insulting, and women typically didn’t treat me that way.
Maybe it was because I enjoyed her scowl almost as much as I enjoyed her smile."

Julian Tennyson needs a break. After waking up from a coma and finding out his fiancée Izzy is in love with his twin brother Bridge, he has just had it. There are other circumstances surrounding his much needed break. He heads to his family's’ cabin to find solace. Instead he finds Keaton Westbrook, a social media superstar. Both have strong opinions about each other based on their social media presence. Julian has quite the bad boy reputation. And Keaton is like an innocent star who wants to please her followers.

Julian and Keaton out angry and fueled. The chemistry between them is hot! And so is their sexy times! Will they walk away lonely or will fate step in?

I found Finding Him to be a quick and romantic read. I enjoyed the buildup between Julian and Keaton. They had chemistry but also friendship, companionship and a closeness between them. The Covet series had been a fun, sexy, steamy, romantic duet. I enjoyed it very much! It will make a great poolside read!

4 stars!

Wow what a story, everything I was hoping for and more.
Loved it so much.
The author knows how to bring characters to life and feel like you are living along side them.
This book will send you on such a rollercoaster of emotions, I strongly suggest you stock up on tissues and wine.
Both J & K have been through so much alone, watch them battle themselves, each other and the world. It is inspiring.

Another fantastic heartfelt read from Rachel

I'll be honest I went into this book not really liking julian very much yes I felt sorry for him but come on he kinda deserved it .....

But wow I fell hard, really really hard for him by the end of the book I was a giddy love struck little girl with a content smile on my face ,,,oh julian you melt my heart

" your the eye of my storm, the calmest part of my life when everything around me is chaos"

This book is a heartbreaking story of loss and finding love through that loss even if we don't believe we should or that we deserve it, the writing as always is witty and steamy and perfect, Rachel is always sure to draw you into the story enabling you to feel the emotion on every page another brilliant story....

I think this is the best book to date for RVD. This book was so full of emotions!! You get the witty humor along with the heartbreaking love and you go on one hell of a rollercoaster ride with Finding Him.

Another this that I think Rachel is the queen of is taking that one guy that everyone seems to hate and redeeming him in such a way that you break. She did it with Phoenix (Eagle Elite) and Julian was so broken and kinda the villain in Stealing Her that I really didn't know what to expect of him in this book. My heart was put through the wringer as Julian tries to come to terms with his new life. Losing his fiancee to his brother, losing his mother after just finding her love again. Once I started the book, I could not put it down.

Rachel amazes me with each new book that publishes but I have to say that the Covet Series is my new favorite!

Thank you so much to the publisher and to NetGalley for providing me an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a good book. The only reason that I did not rate this book 5 stars was because the first half of the book did not completely click with me. I had trouble focusing on the characters and their story. However,. when I read the second half, a major switch happened for me in terms of my attitude towards this book. There were so many amazing parts that made me swoon, and this book was so emotional (especially towards the very end) that my eyes were blurry with tears as I was reading it.

If you want a beautiful, emotional romance, give this one a shot!

I loved Finding Him SO. DAMN. MUCH!!! I fully devoured this book, I could not get enough! This was such a cute freaking story. The chemistry between Julian and Keaton was out of this world! I don’t want to give any spoilers but I also really loved the appearances of Bridge and Izzy as well.
Julian and Keaton both were on extremely difficult journeys of finding peace and resolution after the passing of a close loved one and both ended up in the same place at the same time. Fate?
I was so worried Julian was not going to redeem himself but he totally did! I suppose being in a coma and waking up to find your world turned upside down will do that to you.
It was so sweet how both of them were there for each other and lifted the other one up in those low moments. They trusted each other, trudged through the mud together, and built a love I think anyone would die for.
I also really liked the aspect of social media in this story. Keaton is Hollywood royalty and is anxious and apprehensive about sharing new parts of her life with her followers and I think thats such an important topic, honestly. People with massive amounts of followers are still human and go through real things. I think in this day and age its easy to forget that and its not fair. I really like that RVD included that angle. Its important, and I think something that should be recognized more.
This might be one of my all time faves from Rachel. It was such a good, well rounded story and even though it deals with some really heavy topics, it was such a happy, fun book. And in true RVD fashion, the banter between characters is out of this world! I so look forward to the dialogue in her books! its hands down, the best!
If you liked Stealing Her, youre going to die over Finding Him! These boys are something else!

I wanted to read about Julian, and having Keaton in the mix well I absolutely loved them. These Tennyson brothers are owning me one page at a time. My heart got wrenched and put back together, it was just a rollercoaster of emotions all mixed and turned. This new series is amazing, they can however be read as stand alones, but I suggest you read them all, they are so good.

Finding Him is a poignant romance about healing and finding love. Rachel Van Dyken has made me fall in love with another one of her stories and I adore her writing.

This story follows the story of Keaton and Julian. These two are broken and don't know how to move on. They seek peace in a cabin. One place provides so much more than peace. Although they didn't get off on the right foot, they start to form a connection that is unexplainable yet apparent.

Keaton and Julian heal so much throughout the story by opening up, tackling their own demons, and embracing each other for who they are.

This story is beautiful in so many ways. I just love this series so much and I am so happy that Rachel wrote this book.

I give Finding Him 5 stars. It's romantic and raw. Emotions are felt and those once open wounds heal with each page.

I cannot believe I have never heard of Rachel Van Dyken. Obviously I had to purchase the first book in this series to fully understand Finding Him.
This book was so great, it was full of heartbreak, love, friendship. I loved how Julian was able to put himself back together. I loved how he helped Keaton write Noah’s book. Every part of the book where we were learning about Noah and Keaton, it broke my heart. It was so real, I could relate to the characters so so well. I am so glad I got the opportunity to read this book and find another author that I will definitely be reading in the future.

Another EPIC story by Rachel❣️

Every time I read an RVD book, I’m absolutely astonished at the emotion she pulls out of me as a reader. She’s one of a few who manage to get those tears flowing but boy oh boy does she do it well😁

Julian is the twin brother who awoke from his coma, only to discover his entire life was not as it was before😭 When he gets forced to take vacation, he finds himself stranded with a stranger💕

Keaton is taking a much needed break to try and write the story of the man who stole her heart but died before they could get their happily ever after. When Julian shows up to the cabin she rented for the next month, it forces them both to face their fears, emotions and futures❤️

An amazingly epic story that I absolutely did not want to finish, but as they say all good things come to an end😢 Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and Rachel for my advanced copy for which I voluntarily leave my honest review😍

This is a sweet and moving tale of two grieving souls who find each other. Their meeting is a little commical with neither one backing down. I loved Julian and Keaton with everything they brought out in each other. Their story brought some tears to my eyes, and I was glad to read about Julian.
