This is a multi generational story of family and the secrets they have hidden. Each chapter is from a different Point of view and that slows the flow of the story. I did like the story line

Once again Raeanne Thayne has written a great story. I love the happily ever after ending and the road to get us there. I liked the strong women characters in this book. I also enjoyed the way the characters were all interconnected within the background stories. It made it a very enjoyable read to watch these characters discover their "connections" and then to end happily. As alway Ms. Thayne has written a story that was a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Thanks to Netgalley and Harlequin Romance for the ARC in exchange of an honest review.
Great little love story with a little mystery of who is the baby daddy all thrown in even though I figured out who Caitlin's daddy is early in the beginning of the book.
Would be a perfect beach read.
It's another one of those books that has a happy ending in a perfect little town.
It really was a good book.

RaeAnny Thayne has written a lovely novel about three generations of women who struggle with their pasts and family relationships. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I enjoyed this light and quick read. This is a story of healing, sharing, honesty, family, and love. It was a little too soap opera-like for my taste, which is why I knocked off a star on my review, otherwise, it's a good, happy ending read!!

I loved this multi-generational novel set in what is portrayed as a beautiful seaside town named Cape Sanctuary, located in northern California. Olivia left Cape Sanctuary 12 years ago but returned home from Seattle to help out her mother, Juliet, who was injured at the garden center the Harpers own. Living with Juliet is Olivia’s 15-year-old niece, Caitlin, having been raised by her grandmother. Tension abound, the three Harper women carry burdensome secrets, yet for Juliet’s sake, both Olivia and Caitlin support her during her painful recovery. I fell in love with Cooper, admired Henry and his friendship with Juliet, and Caitlin’s best friend Jake is a blessing. Melody, Olivia’s best friend, has had her life turned around, too. Friendships are a vital part of this story. The conflicts were real. I felt empathy for all of the characters, and I loved the way in which this author resolved all of it.

This is a story of 3 generations of women in a family that has endured incredible loss. Sounds depressing, but it really isn’t! The characters are so well written that they come to life and you really feel that know them, from backgrounds to thoughts and conversations. The author has managed to weave together 3 separate relationships, with all of the interconnections and complexities. Add in the friends and coworkers, and there are so many relationships and emotions. Each chapter is written from a different person’s perspective, giving the reader insight into the different characters, their histories, hopes, and fears. I really enjoyed this book. It is SO well written.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought I was a little slow starting but once it did. I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed how it encluded all 3 generations of the woman.
I highly recommend this book.

No long pages of sex here. Instead just some hot kisses. Much more satfying in the long run. Julia, Olivia and Caitlin have very complicated relationships and thing keep coming to a head as secrets are revealed and relationships redefined. Great story with interesting characters, beautiful setting and of course a lot of romance.

When Juliet falls and breaks her hip Olivia has no choice but to return home and help her Mother. Caitlin, Olivia’s niece is living with her Grandmother and is hostile to Olivia from the moment she arrives. All 3 women have secrets that prevent them from connecting. Each chapter is written from a different characters viewpoint, which I usually find annoying, but not in this book. The book is well written and you can relate to the characters. There is romance in the book too. This is an enjoyable fast read. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

A charming story about loss and love at any age through illness and hard times.
Filled with joy and fear, it gave me moments of delight and tears of sympathy. Olivia's journey was both
difficult and wonderful. I loved this book.

The Sea Glass Cottage is a feel good story about a family that destroys the wedge that has put strain on their family. It was a quick, easy read. Perfect for a day snuggled up on the couch or in a lounger on the beach. I was able to read this via an ARC from Netgalley and the publisher. This is my honest review.

The Sea Glass Cottage by RaeAnne Thayne. Very enjoyable romantic story. All the characters are relatable and likeable and it was easy to get involved into their stories. Happy ending for all. Otis provided emotional therapy for more than one person, a special little one.

Thank you to the publisher, author, and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

The Sea Glass Cottage by RaeAnne Thayne was a beautifully written book. Three women of three generations all under one roof trying to make The Sea Glass Cottage a wonderful place to live. I loved how the whole story came together with so much happiness at the end. So many descriptive comments in the story. Read the story you will love the story.

People shouldn’t keep secrets...but of course they do and it is what keeps us reading a story after all. We want to know what's going on behind the scenes.. So, because of secrets, our first impressions of a character can also be misleading! And RaeAnne Thayne has used secrets to make this story’s twists and turns so entertaining. In Sea Glass Cottage, there’s no shortage of secrets. What is Juliet really afraid of? What is Olivia afraid of? Why was Olivia so resistant to going home to help her mom? Why was Caitlin so mad at Olivia? What secret did Cooper keep close to his heart? RaeAnne Thayne weaves all of these secrets, and several more, in her talented way to keep this reader guessing until the end.
I enjoyed the small town feeling of the story and thought I had each person ‘pegged’ for why they were doing what they were doing. But then I also liked how the revelation of one secret led me to change my opinion of a character, which, in turn, led me to reevaluate how I perceived the story. In the beginning of the story I kept thinking “she should just...” or “why doesn’t he just...” because all of the secrets had not yet been revealed. But oh, how I was surprised in the end!

Gah! Such a perfect coastal mother-and-daughter reunification story!! I loved Olivia’s progression from scared to brave. I also really liked the whole Caitlin and Cooper loop. I was a little leery of Caitlin trying to find her father, but the story was told sensitively and well.
I was afraid that there might be too many story arcs for me to keep up, but Ms Thayne did a beautiful job of allowing her characters to share the spotlight so the story didn’t become unbalanced.
