I have quite like series from Jessica Clare in the past but this series hadn't hooked me in yet until this one.

Hank is a bit of a brute with his large presence and lack of communication skills, but he's also a huge sweetheart the way he's so naive and doting and loving with his daughter Libby.

After A Cowboy Under the Mistletoe (#3) you felt bad for Becca, so I was glad she got her HEA and she didn't end up with Greg whom once again came across as a selfish prick.

The hardness of Hank and softness of Becca were the perfect combination. I also loved that she was soft but not weak and had her own quiet strength. I loved how she interacted with Libby which only made the dynamics between the three even more special.

Hank had two other brothers Caleb and Jack. We get a bit more Caleb and there he meets the newest resident to Painter's barrel. I Can't wait for Caleb's story especially after his first interaction with Amy

"She couldn't have missed you. You made weird noises and laughed like a donkey."

Hopefully we will get more of Jack in the next book then eventually we can get his story. Fingers crossed. As these brothers are great.

3.5 Stars!

While this book is set in a series, it can be read as a stand alone. Out of all, this has been my favorite to date. The character development was fuller. Characters are likable and you can relate back to them like they would be friends you know from town. This book is a quick read- not too heavy handed in the cowboy department but has that Paul Bunyan factor.

This romance will leave you breathless. The storyline is not real in compassing. But the bedroom or really multiplied of room sex scene. Will keep you moving along this book

The Cowboy Meets His Match is a romantic, heart-tugging romance that left me wanting more from Jessica Clare!

The Cowboy meets His Match is a good addition to the series. Hank is a shy but surly cowboy who is a single parent. We met Becca in the first book. Her fiance left her 2 years prior but it 's still the topic of conversation. That is until Hank comes into her salon. HThey start off as friends although she is looking for more, he's a little more reserved.
The book held my interest but it didn't have the same charm as the first book.
I loved his daughter and brothers . Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Hank was just real awkward and boy didnt I love seeing him that way, "a flash of disappointment crossed her face, as if his response hadn’t been what she’d expected. Did she … did she want him to kiss her?" Hank can be real thoughtful, “you said you were lonely at night.” Hank watched her intently. “I don’t like that, so I brought you a friend.” If Hank's girl is happy then he puts on a smile, “Pre-K,” Hank explained. “For learning how to be friends and ****.” It sounded like crap to him, but Becca was excited for Libby, and Libby was excited, so he was trying to be excited, too." I liked this book I loved burly Hank.

Hank, and his daughter Libby, have temporarily moved from Alaska to Wyoming to help out an injured relative on his ranch. Becca, a beauty salon owner, was practically left at the altar two years ago and has yet to hear the end of it. The town is so small that everyone is in everyone else's business. They want her to move on but there aren't that many single men in town. Then she meets Hank, a huge lumberjack type that doesn't say much. Becca's attracted to Hank but he seems to think she's trying to trick him in some way. He's a great father and that draws Becca to him. Over time Becca and Hank learn to communicate and care for each other. Enjoyable romance.
