I understand the point of making low-budget movies, where quality is sacrificed in order to save money. But why do this in a book? This book is ridden with tactical and logical errors, and the plot isn't helped by being intricate, it's mostly nonsense.

Finally, we see a badass female killing machine who can give Jason Bourne a run for his money! How apt that it was written by Eric Van Lustbader!

This is an intriguing story of espionage pitting a new female character, Evan Ryder, against a company called Nemesis who is out to destroy America. It is full of action with well-developed characters and a fascinating storyline. There are twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat with a brilliant climax.

I did get a bit confused keeping track with all the different characters but I still found it a very enjoyable read. It is the start of
a new series and I'm really looking forward to seeing how this character will develop.

Thank you to NetGalley and MacMillan - Tor/Forge for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is quite good, and the many positive reviews reflect that. It has great pacing, strong characters, and a large cast. This is written in a way that it will be successful with those that don't normally read this kind of tale, including me. It has some good twists and will work for most thriller fans.

I really appreciate the ARC for review!!

When the author sits down to write a book, he does nothing halfway. Huge in scope, the research to create such characters and to put them in believable places and situations is remarkable. Lots of action, plotting, and Bach-stabbing create an excellent espionage thriller.

The Nemesis Manifesto by Lustbader is a great read! A real engrossing page-turner and worth the time of a read!!

A well written espionage thriller with a female protagonist. I would have enjoyed it more with a bit more development of the characters, who mostly seemed 2 dimensional and fairly stereotypical for the genre. Adding more backstory for the main character and scenes where she shows emotional development and reactions to events would perhaps help as I just never seemed to care about her like I usually do similar characters in other novels.

I feel like 'The Nemesis Manifesto' would be an excellent movie. The twists and turns and abundance of characters lend to a complex story that is the perfect quarantine read.

Van Lustbader writes an excellent spy double/double double agent thriller that both tells a complete story and leaves me wanting more. Ryder is an excellent character and I want to know more about her. I want to know more of the back story, more of the context and motivations.

I’ve read many books by Eric Van Lustbader and have enjoyed them all. This one was no different. Fast paced and action packed. I’m looking forward for more in this series. I highly recommend this book.
