An app for hookups with a "unique" desire bring Maple Washington and Max O'Reilly together when a video is posted that was never meant to be shared.

What will happen when Maple and Max discover they really do want a relationship, will they allow their hearts to take a chance on love?

A scorchin read full of wit, banter, and fun!

Maple is so adorable you can not help but love this heroine. Her job as an influencer is an interesting trade. Between Maple’s ex and the devastatingly handsome Max, Maple’s life is about to get fascinating. I adore her quirk of humming.

Max O’Reilly makes brilliant the new sexy add in a slamming body and this hero will take up residence as your #1 book boyfriend. Max is what some would call a numbers guy, his newest app Kinkster is about to give him some unwanted attention. Max loves list and columns, but he is truly baffled by Maple and her energy.

Max and Maple are a fun interesting pair up, that had me cheering for them from the beginning. Maple keeps king of the hook ups living in the now. Max keeps Maple grounded. The cast of characters Lola, Dev, Jack and wife Molly give different levels in the story that keeps my interest in them.

Hook Up is a fun sexy read with strong characters and unbelievable Hook Ups, but there’s more than that it’s about discovering that it is possible to try life on in a different angle. Anne Marsh is a new author to me, but I am definitely going to be reading her again.

OMG, did I love this story! Max and Maple … hysterical, sexy and over the top. I loved them both from the minute I started this story.
What a fun and interesting story. I loved watching Max go from the hook-up king to falling hook, line and sinker for the woman who stormed into his office and demanded he take down the video that could ruin her life. Did he, sure … did he destroy all the copies? Not on your life. He's never seen a video go as viral as that one did and there is no way he's not keeping a copy for himself. But, there was something special about the feisty, mouthy Maple and her exhibitionism.
Maple was appalled that her ex would do this to her. She's even more appalled that the owner of the site was so arrogant and condescending. Then, why does her traitorous brain and body think that he's one of the hottest men she's ever seen? Well, she's safe. She may need him to save her reputation but there's not a chance in hell that anything, other than a hookup, would ever happen. He's the king of hookups so why is she feeling that there could be more?
I truly enjoyed this story and the story-line. It was fresh and fun. I've always enjoyed Anne Marsh and this fun rom-com really made me smile when there isn't much to smile about. But, I was able to get lost in Max and Maple's world … I was able to laugh and enjoy a good story. Yea, Max is hot so that made it easy and, like I said, the whole story-line about an online influencer and a nerdy but sexy website designer is a must read to let your mind wander away.

Good story and characters with an interesting premise that made you want to find out what was going to happen. A very enjoyable book!

Anne Marsh delivers again! Hookup explores a romance that develops between a media "Influencer" and a software engineer/app developer. The typical meet cute of category romance is a little lacking in this one - the hero and heroine meet because the heroine's ex has released a scandalous video through the developer's app. The video would definitely damage the media influencer's brand, and the developer agrees to remove it from the app. The story itself is topical and well plotted. The romance is believeable and the happily ever after well deserved. I appreciated the complexity of the characters, the flow of the story and the strong ending.
I received my copy through NetGalley under no obligation.

A cute, light read! I wasn't necessarily head-over-heels for the characters or their relationship, but it was a fun romance and I was swept up enough to finish it in one sitting. I just think I haven't found the RIGHT billionaire romance for me yet to bump this up from a "kinda liked" to "really loved."

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Former ballerina Maple likes to dance. And she likes to hookup, so when the Kinkster app became available, she let her hookups know that she likes to be watched as well. Only that backfires on her when her current boyfriend happens to post a salacious video in Kinkster that Maple sent to him for his eyes only.

The video generates lots of unwanted attention (900+ hookup requests) Maple has only one option and that's to get the Kinkster app to remove the video. Storming into the offices, she demands the app developer remove the video. Max O'Reilly is owner, billionaire and hookup aficionado is very intrigued by Maple and goes out of his way to accommodate her. He's not sure why, but there's something about Maple that he likes or is it wants?

This was a hot and steamy little story about two people brought together by circumstances and leads to something much more than either one of them expected. Max is interested in Maple in a way he hasn't been with any other previous hookups and that's the most interesting part of this story. Will Max finally settle down? Will Maple want him to? What I liked most about this story is the progression of their relationship.

Overall, a quick entertaining and very erotic story.

An ARC was provided by the publisher. This is my honest review.

Well I have to say that this was a fun, quick little book! It's a perfect poolside or fireside read - - depending on your season.

Max and Maple's connection wasn't exactly your traditional "meet cute" but it was fun all the same. She storms his office angry about a personal video of hers that was released into a hookup app and ends up breaking not only her own phone, but his laptop as well. It's a good thing he's a millionaire (hmmm make that billionaire) and the only thing he's upset about is the fact that she turned down his "hookup" request.

Max is fascinated by Maple....and she can't seem to forget about him even though she thinks he's the opposite of what she needs since he insists he doesn't do relationships. Of course, a challenge is exactly what Max needs and this is where the fun begins.

I really enjoyed Hookup. It was a fun read with characters that I could easily cheer for. I wanted nothing more than to see the two of them overcome their individual hangups and successfully establish their relationship.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book wasn't bad, but I wanted more substance from it. I felt like almost the entire book was just about their hookups. I know that's what the book is titled, but I want to at least get to know the characters. The ending was cute, but other than that it was kind of boring. It was just one hookup after another.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher, Harlequin for approving me for the earc. I gave this a three out of five stars. I didn't feel like there were any stakes but I did like the dynamic between the two characters. I liked how they clicked and their connection. I just wish they had the other characters in it more then it did.

Hookup by Anne Marsh is a steamy fast-paced romance! A story that pulls you in and leaves you wanting more. The characters are intriguing and provide lots of drama making this a story that is easy to get lost in. I did not want to put this one down and finished it in sitting!

Dare is the Hot and Sexy part of this publishing company. Hookup fits perfectly.
You have a social media influencer caught on tape by an ex...he puts it out there and she needs to have it taken down.

It is the challenge and chemistry between this billionaire and the woman he wants.

The Hookup by Anne Marsh brings the two main characters Maple and Max together when Maple’s ex-boyfriend uploads a revenge video to Max’s popular app. Maple and Max have amazing chemistry—but they must navigate and get over their pasts and preconceived notions in order to develop of something deeper. The characters in this novel are refreshing and complex. The romance and chemistry in the novel is off the charts. The Hookup by Anne Marsh is a fabulous edition to the Harlequin Dare series.

the hook up by Anne marsh is Max's story. He's one of three friends who have made it big. His friends are falling into their lives but he's still happy hooking up, no relationships, and his coding until one pissed off ballerina storms into his office, destroys his computer, and turns his life upside down.

Maple is impulsive. She knows this, but when she loves she loves with her whole heart and trusts hard. When her ex uploads a naked video of her onto a hook up site she's furious. Storming into the main office sounded like a good idea until her idea of a nerd hiding in a dark basement is shattered when she meets Max. Things are off the chart explosive between the two, but she makes her demands and leaves.

I loved this book. Max is blunt, loves numbers, and you really can't help but love his character and Maple is just as lovable. She's impulsive, knows what she wants and works her butt off to get it. But she knows she's not ready for just for fun hook ups. She wants it all and isn't ashamed of that until Max is what she wants. Will she be okay with just fun times? Max is all about fun, but when things get serious can he get his crap together and take the plunge (giggles here thanks to a part in the book) or end what could be the best thing that has ever happened to him? This book was extremely well written and i did not want to put it down.

Very enjoyable short read. The ballet dancer and the billionaire. It is a simple hook-up. The only problem is one day turns in to another and another. Maple get a model job and leaves. Max realizes he loves her. The only problem is he may have waited too late.

A nerdy engineer with a lot of money and self esteem, what is not to love?? Max and Male have an unconventional love story, but it works. They are both sarcastic and fun. She flips his world upside down, and somehow, he loves it!

this was a very enjoyable and hot read. I did like the sort of list-making tone of the hero in the beginning, but that did sort of go away as the book went on. They're a good match, and although I liked the idea of them drifting from hook up to love...it did seem like the heroine "got over" the very bad betrayal of the ex-boyfriend pretty fast.
