When Jed Dalloway started over, ranching a mountain plot for his recluse boss saved him. So when hometown girl April Reed offers a deal to develop the land, to protect his ailing mentor, Jed tells her no sale. But his heart doesn’t get the message. While business might be off the table, could April be the new lease on life this wounded man needs?
This was a decent read. It was light and quick to read. The characters were likable and the overall plot was good. I recommend.

If your looking for a slow but sweet contemporary read you'll probably end up enjoying this book. Personally I found it a bit too slow for my tastes but then again I've been on a action packed books kick and this book was just at a difference pace. I did find myself enjoying this book though. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and seeing a bit into Jed's backstory and how he ended up working for his recluse boss. I enjoyed seeing the romance between the two. Overall this was just a sweet story I enjoyed it.
