This was an interesting and powerful book on how to develop inner spirituality. I loved how every word really counted and contributed to an overall strong message.

Warning: DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN OPEN MIND! Part of the appeal of this book is the focus on the stream of consciousness and other techniques that some people may be put off by. If you have an open mind, you can benefit from this book, as the author included lots of useful and insightful tips.

This is a series of dharma talks, so there's steam of consciousness quality about them. There is also wisdom and deep thoughts. This may have limited appeal, but those with patience and an open mind will likely like this most. Recommended for those seeking subtle and soft thoughts and wisdom.

Thanks very much for the ARC for review!!

I loved this book. Over the past couple of years I've been rediscovering my spirituality and re-examining what my life's purpose is and what that means for my professional life. This book really gave me a lot of food for thought on both accounts.

Even though the author's journey is very different from my own I felt like she had a relatable and inclusive way of presenting it. And though I've read multiple books on spirituality she had new ways of framing up concepts that help them click for me. I found myself highlighting a lot because there were so many good quotes I wanted to keep.

Would recommend!

I've been on a spiritual journey recently after leaving organized religion and exploring different areas of spirituality. I picked up this book, hoping for some insight.

I was disappointed to find that it reads like an unorganized stream of conscious. The text flows from one set of thoughts to another with some statements in bold for emphasis. But even the statements in bold type are scattered and without form or order.

There were a few good ideas and statements that inspired further thought, but overall it was not the type of read I was looking for.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
