This book will hook you on the first page. You will fall in love with the twins. This book is well written and will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. A wonderful written story of faith, hope and forgiveness. In this lastest book soon to be release by Rachel Good she will take you on a journey and will intorduce you to some wonderful characters, especially the twins who you will just love in this story. And to many others who have suffered some type of truma in their life and how those can benefit from horse thereapy and how it can bring healing to the soul.


I am never disappointed in reading Rachel Good's book. A true gifted and talented writter and you will be touched and moved when reading anyone of her books. Make sure you add this and other books from her to your shelf.

Excellent story! This focuses on the grief experienced by two young children who were involved in a buggy accident which killed their parents. The children are entrusted to their grandparents and uncle. Their uncle comes to their aid and tries to help them deal with their grief as he deals with his own. An Amish woman from a neighboring district is there to help even though her own life seems to be falling apart.
Rachel Good deals with some very difficult subjects in this book; grief, fear, avoidance, gambling debt, and trust. Horse therapy is well documented throughout the story. It is a great read.

Twins are involved in this story and it brought tears to my eyes. Love the story and the characters , both are well written and well developed. A very sweet and beautiful story. Such a sweet and wonderful book! This was a very well written book about a tragic event in the lives of two Amish twins, Chloe and Jabin, whose parents were in a horrific accident. Their first responder was a wonderful young Amish woman, Hope, who selflessly remained at the side of the children through the aftermath of the accident, their hospitalization and times of need.

Their unmarried uncle is now their caretaker and sees the care and tenderness that Hope shows the children.

Such a good read. It is a very touching story and a story of faith, love, and understanding. I loved the tender moments in this story very much.

When Hope comes across a buggy accident, she finds a little girl who had been thrown and was obviously hurt. She waits with her for the ambulance, and lets others deal with the other victims. Both parents are killed, but 7 year old twins, Jabin and Chloe are hurt and rushed to the hospital. Chloe doesn't want to be alone, and Hope goes with her. When she finally gets a hold of their uncle Micah, he rushes the 5 hour car ride to be there for the kids. A sweet story of two people overcoming issues and falling in love. Highly recommend.

A beautifully written story of tragedy and faith, His Unexpected Amish Twins tells a story of Hope, a girl that happens upon a tragic buggy and car accident. The two adults are dead, bur the two twin children, survive. She doesn't know this family, but feels like she should go with them to the hospital so they won't be afraid. She contacts the children's remaining family and this is how she meets their handsome and single uncle, Micah. It's a well written story that I enjoyed reading, ill enjoy reading again. Great ending!
