Lavy and Trevor are absolutely wonderful together. Even though life didn’t turn out the way the expected it their little family would be everything they were missing.

Trevor and his brothers inherit the family ranch with some stipulations. While is brothers are off dealing with other things Trevor is left to deal with the ranch. Not a problem. At least it wouldn’t be except his cousin has left her four year old and wants nothing more to do with the little girl which means Trevor needs help. That is where Lacey comes in. Lacey has spent her life on the McCall ranch and loves. As always Leslie North did an amazing job with these two characters. I loved this book and will be checking out the next two in the series as well.

This is a new author for me. I received a copy from Net Galley. This book was sweet. Not deep and not hard to figure out the ending. It was something I would have loved in my teenage years.

Whooooooo!!! Talk about a spicy romance! Leslie North is really good at writing complicated characters that just want some love. Even if they don't think they deserve it, or need it. I love that she always ends with a happy ending for the couple and that she writes family stories. It gives it an extra layer to the characters when they suddenly have to deal with having children and responsibilities they didn't have before.

The Rancher's Inherited Family brings a new twist on contemporary love. A family doesn't necessarily happen in a certain order or by conventional means, but it doesn't make it any less real. This story is beautiful and the struggles are real. The journey these characters go through is full of struggles and detours but watching them grow is a beautiful story. You will find your heart breaking for them and rooting for them. There is just enough spice and heat as Lacy and Trevor navigate from friends to lovers.

The first in the series of the McCall brothers. Trevor is the oldest, and comes home to fulfill their parents will. Each of the three sons must live one year at the ranch to earn the inheritance. Trevor takes the first stretch, as he lives closer anyway, and also continues to hire Lacey as the housekeeper. When his cousin drops off her 4 year old daughter Jade, and leaves a note that he is her guardian, things get interesting. A fun and quick read. Highly recommend this book and author.

Wow Lacey and Trevor have to really cover a lot of rough ground to finally find their HEA = now on to the next book of the series - to see what else is going to happen on the McCall Ranch!

I have joyed this author’s books. This one felt a little rushed. I do not wish to leave any spoilers. The story revolves around an inheritance contingent on three sons leaving their respective lives and moving back to the family ranch and an attraction between the hired help and oldest sibling, who has major inferiority problems. It all works itself out in the end. A good read, just needs a little fleshing out.

Trevor McCall had no intention of becoming a rancher or a family man. But now all of a sudden he has to take over his late parents' ranch and also raise his cousin's 4-year of daughter, Jade.

His parents' will stipulates that he has to run the ranch for one year. But can he also take care of a kid? He is in no way prepared to be a father. And to complicate things even more his housekeeper, Lacey Cameron, who spent her entire life on the McCall ranch, is leaving to open up her own B&B. Trevor desperately makes a deal with her that if she stays and helps him with Jade he will help her fix up her B&B, Working together Trevor becomes very aware of the beautiful woman Lacey has grown into.

Lacey has been saving for years so she can open her own B&B. She has always had hidden feelings for Trevor. But after her plans fall through she has no choice but to stay on and help Trevor. Eventually those carefully hidden feelings will be revealed with surprising results.

THE RANCHER'S INHERITED FAMILY is a wonderful story written by Leslie North! I just couldn't put it down. Five 🌟read for sure!

This is a quick read. The title and cover are a bit misleading. There isn't much ranch to the story or characters. I enjoyed Lacey although she comes across a bit naive and young for the character. I wasn't a fan of Trevor. The turn around to the story happened a bit too quickly to be believable. I was much more intrigued by Carson and Randy and look forward to their stories.

A heartwarming first story in the McCall Ranch Brothers series. Trevor and his two brothers arrived in town for the reading of their father’s will. When they learn that they must reside at the ranch, Trevor agrees to stay until his brothers are able to join him. He is worried when he learns that Lacey Cameron, who has looked after the ranch for years, plans to leave and open a B&B. Things become even more complicated when his cousin drops off her four-year old daughter, Jade. He knows nothing about raising children and has no idea what to do. When Lacey’s plans to leave are somewhat derailed, she agrees to stay at the ranch. Can Lacey find a way to ignore her feelings for Trevor? Will Trevor find everything in world he’d never known he wanted? A truly enjoyable romance by Ms. North. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. Enjoyed this quick, sweet & sexy read. There’s chemistry, comedic episodes & personal drama to keep you turning the pages until the end. Trevor, Lacey & Jade are wonderful together & act as a family right from the start. The pain of the past, a new beginning & a surprise of epic proportions is what makes this book a sweet & wonderful story. Watching Trevor grow & find the missing answers from his youth was wonderful, seeing Lacey begin to live her dream & fall in love was beautiful. Watching sweet, sassy & hilarious little Jade pull them closer together was amazing, she was like a little matchmaker even though it wasn’t deliberate. Definitely enjoyed this book.

I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

When Trevor McCall returns to claim his share of his adoptive parent's ranch after their death, He is unexpectedly saddled with raising his cousin's 4-year old..

Lacey Cameron has lived her whole life at the McCall ranch agrees to stay on for the summer and help with 4-year old Jade in spite of her having had feelings for Trevor from a young age..

Despite not having an issues with the content of the story line, the book itself felt very rushed and underdeveloped. The Main character supposedly returns to claim his share of the family ranch, yet there is nothing in the story with regards to ranch life and he spends his time between construction work at Lacey's B&B and helping run his construction business. Based on the the cover, title, and description of this book, I was expecting cowboys, ranch life, and romance and was sadly disappointed with the lack of all 3.

All thoughts and opinions are mine

I love Leslie North's books and this is the first book in a new series

I found this a very sweet, quick read. I found the story very touching in places and the HEA and ending happened a bit quick for me - I would have loved for it to have been a bit longer. Suppose that just says how much I did enjoy it

Now looking forward to reading the next one

I enjoyed this first book in the McCall brother's series. I would have like to have seen more of Trevor and Lacey together. The focus was a little too much on Lacey's B and B and how tired Trevor is all of the time from helping her out and running the ranch on his own. I did like the bond that they seem to share with Jade though. I really want to read book two now.
