I have loved reading Adele Parks, so I was pumped to read another. This wasn't necessarily a BAD book, it just wasn't as good as her others. It didn't hold my attention the way other thrillers have. I don't want to say that you shouldn't read it, but there would be so many other books (some written by this author!) that I would suggest over this one.

I did not finish this one, it was not for me, I couldn't relate to the characters, and just did not care for the story.

In this dark tale of secrets and lies, Parks tells a gripping story with twists you don't see coming and it will keep you turning pages so quickly to see what happens next!

The story touches on some pretty sensitive topics like rape, domestic abuse and alcoholism. As Parks does when writing about sensitive topics, I think she dealt with them tastefully.

Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for my complimentary eARC in exchange for an honest, unbiased review. Please excuse my tardiness in posting my review. My TBR list is continuously growing and I keep finding so many amazing books being requested + added to my pile! I have so much gratitude for this copy that has been shared with me.

I found this story to be interesting. It had a good flow and kept me wondering and into it the whole time.

DNF - Did not finish. I did not connect with the writing style or plot and will not be finishing this title. Thank you, NetGalley and Publisher for the early copy!

I really really really liked this book until the end. Am I bit over the unreliable narrator and alcoholism as a plot device, but this was a really gripping novel.

Then the final plot twist came and I just lost all of my love for this book. I really questioned how any of this could have been approved for print. The worst part is that the final twist wasn't necessary. The book was really good without it.

New to me author but definitely won't be last. Thoroughly enjoyed this story. Thanks Netgalley and to the publisher for letting me read this advance copy.

Adele Parks is quickly becoming one of my favorite domestic thriller writers. LIES, LIES, LIES is a perfect combination of tension and emotion while still addressing how alcoholism affects the dynamic of a relationship. The pace and binegablity of this book allow the reader to immerse themselves in the narrative and even finish it in one night.

This was an interesting book. Sometimes I was so hooked I didn’t and to stop. Other times not so much. The ending was a bit much for me. I do think the author did a good job at tackling such hard topics.

I received a gifted copy of Lies Lies Lies through NetGalley. I am not certain how I feel about this book. It was not my cup of tea, so to speak. I do, however, commend Ms. Parks for taking on such powerful topics, those being infertility with failed IVF cycles, alcoholism and how it affects family and friends, infidelity, rape and how a woman would choose to remain quiet in fear of her own safety and that of her child, and the close bond of a friendship that was rife with regret and harbored feelings of strong dislike. There is also the theme of forgiveness in the end. To me, this book as a lot of triggers for those who have suffered through such ordeals. Again, I commend Ms. Parks for putting these subjects out there, it just was not for me.

Adele Parks is a new author to me. I really enjoyed this first adventure into one of her works. Intriguing domestic suspense that I've come to love so much.

Daisy is thrilled to finally her have Millie. The child she has waited for, yearned for and hoped for every day. She knows that her life isn't perfect, but she's happy enough. At least that's what she tells herself.

When secrets start to come to the surface the easy calm that Daisy has tried to create is quickly shattered. Now she's forced between what she wants to do and what's best for the life she is now responsible for.

A delve into the ugliness of marriage and the consequences of secrets.

I found this one very hard to get into and even harder to finish. I can’t quite put my finger on what it was but I just didn’t love it.

This was good. Not great. But good. It was an interesting read. Had good character development. I just wished there was alittle more to the story telling.

Adele Parks is back for another thrilling tale (pun intended – sorry, not sorry) in Lies, Lies, Lies. This is a novel that will send chills down your spine, I promise!

From all appearances, Daisy's life is pretty perfect. She has the man of her dreams, and together they just had their first child. But appearances can be deceiving, and Daisy is slowly coming to terms with the life she has.

That is – she was slowly coming to terms with it. Then something happened that wrenched control away and altered her family – permanently.

"Do we still live in a world where being polite keeps order or does it leave you vulnerable?"

So, I would hope that the title makes it obvious, but Lies, Lies, Lies is a novel full to the brim of secrets, deception, and revelations. Not all of them are good, naturally. It's a thrilling and compelling tale, carried forward nicely thanks to Adele Parks' writing style.

Though admittedly, this was not my favorite thriller. It wasn't bad. It had a solid foundation, interesting plot points – the works. There was just something about it that kept me at arms' distance, and ultimately that impacted my reading experience.

One thing I did enjoy about this novel is that it did showcase many harsh realities that come with life: addiction, depression, fertility issues, and more. However, I just couldn't get over one scene in particular (spoiler warning: that poor kitten!).

I am sorry for not reviewing fully but I don’t have the time to read this at the moment. I believe that it wouldn't benefit you as a publisher or your book if I only skimmed it and wrote a rushed review. Again, I am sorry for not fully reviewing!

This one is classified as a thriller suspense and it reads more like a drama. I enjoyed parts of the book but I am not sold. Would definitely like to read more from the author.

If you're looking for a domestic suspense book with unlikeable and unreliable characters - here's one for you. I personally did not enjoy this book but feel as though I'm in a bit of a burnout from this genre.

Parks is on my favorite authors list. I very much enjoyed Lies, Lies, Lies with the strong character development, plot and page turning story that was created for the reader. There are books that I use the analogy of a "fly on the wall" and this was one of those books that allow you to be a "fly on the wall" of someone else's relationship and marriage that you gain a sneak peek into someone else story. The books takes you on the rollercoaster of someone else's marriage. I would definitely recommend this book!

Thank you so much to Mira Books and NetGalley for the complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!

DNFed at 91%. I could barely stomach the rape scene and then having an animal die in a violent manner did me in. I understand this is fiction but I have too big of a heart for this.

Lies, Lies, Lies was difficult for me. It was a good read, for sure - there was definitely a lot going for it. And I'm sure it will strongly appeal to a lot of readers. It just wasn't a home run for me. Maybe it was the subject matter (it dealt with some heavy topics). But again, I know this book will find it's audience. My low-ish rating is due to my personal preference, not the writing/story-telling. If I was basing it on wiring/twists and turns/atmosphere, it would probably be closer to a 4/4.5.

Like the last Adele Parks book I read, however, this one just left me feeling...a little off overall. It wasn't necessarily depressing, per se, but did stray into some dark, questionable, and just plain weird-at-times places. It was a really good book that unfortunately just wasn't 100% my style I guess. It was still an exhilarating ride of a story though, and definitely made me feel things!

Overall, this was 3 "it's not you, it's me" out of 5 stars.
