Anyone but Nick is the third and final book of the series and I have to say a bit bittersweet, I started reading 'Anyone but Rich' just one night scrolling for something fun to read but I was so surprised how much I loved the book and wanted to read on.

But this book focuses on Nick and Miranda. Both are known as the perfect ones, smart, composed but when Miranda's career takes a turn, she is forced to deal with her childhood crush/enemy and her unresolved feelings for him. .Likewise for Nick who considers himself a controlled man in all aspects of his life, emotionally and work wise until they are forced to be near each other and interact and the banter and sexual frustration that they both have swept under the rug for years begins to boil over. Nick is quiet sarcastic, witty and sexy when he's around her flirting and she is no longer the confident woman around him that fights so hard to resist him. I loved the slow burn aspect but my only issue with the book was Miranda spends all this time mad and longing for him but when she finally has him where she wants him, she fights it way more it needed to be but overall, I loved seeing Nick's interactions with Rich and Cade and Miranda with her friends and seeing them all get their endings.

Personally i thought it ended so well but part of me also wants more on them. Overall this trilogy is fun, sexy, romantic and I loved is that they are billionaires but they are not the typical alpha asshole. They accept their mistakes, grow up and become emotionally mature men that treat the girls with respect and love and I think that's a trope we need more of. 5/5 on this book and entire series.

Miranda wants anyone but....Nick (not) 🍉

Miranda swore an oath with her besties after the King brothers all did wrong by them. Now seven years later and Miranda has lost her job and is about to interview for a job she would’ve never thought she would apply for. Unbeknownst to her Nick and Cade are also there with a surprise of their own❣️

This story had a few really funny parts to it which I laughed out loudly and enjoyed and a few small twists but a good read overall😁 I received an advanced copy via Netgalley and I voluntarily leave my honest review😍

I recieved a digital copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own and given freely.

So I picked this up because it sounded fun and I had no idea that it was thrid in a series. As much as it would be cool to have read the others it wasn't necessary at all we still got to know the other characters despite them not being major characters.

I loved the dual points of view. It makes it really easy to get into both minds and I loved the back and forth between them their chemistry is there right from the start.

I enjoyed reading about the town/valley they live in but I'd have loved more detail and more background - I guess that ces in the other books - the ending felt a little rushed which I disliked but I still found the book really enjoyable. The prank was rhe funniest thing ever

Anyone But Nick the third and concluding story in Penelope Bloom's Anyone, But... series was an enjoyable and entertaining read. That easily pulled me in, thanks to a storyline that was light, humorous and had minimal angst. Not to mention plenty of hi jinks courtesy of Nick's brother Cade and his wife Iris.

And with a pleasing, albeit slow burn romance between Miranda and Nick. That was not only fun to read, but absorbing, that is once they got over their misunderstandings and really spent time together. I was easily engaged, and I genuinely enjoyed the double epilogue. As not only was it delightfully sweet, but it rounded the book and series of wonderfully. And I would happily recommend Anyone But Nick to others, especially if you're a fan of the series or author.

This book is absolutely hilarious thanks to Cade and Nick and Miranda were absolutely perfect together. I know it’s Nicks story but omg Cade too me stole the show. The crazy things that come out of his mouth is hilarious. This series is an absolute must read and I recommend everyone too one click.

This is the last book in the King Brothers Series and I loved it. Penelope Bloom does a fabulous job writing Miranda and Nick’s story. Miranda has always had feelings for Nick but she sends him a poem anonymously telling him how she feels about him and their wonderful friendship and he sees IRA on written faintly on the bottom of the poem and thought it was from Kira and so that’s who he asked out and to the prom. It’s why Miranda came up with the pact against the King Brothers and has always hated all of them and told her friends they were no good. Miranda is always wanting to be miss perfect and be the best. She’s worried about what everybody thinks about her. Nick decides to help her out when she’s fired from her job. Can these two rebuild their friendship and maybe fall back in love? I love this series and all the characters involved. Highly recommend this book and the series!!

A laugh out loud read! Nick and Miranda’s story is laced with so much humor I couldn’t stop the tears from rolling down as I read each page! Yes there were serious moments but a family with Cade King can only be serious for so long!

A misunderstanding is all it takes to change the fate of so many and that’s exactly what took place with the Kings and their women! One huge misunderstanding, set in motion the events that lead to the ending of this hilarious series of standalone stories! This books was the final piece of the puzzle, the piece that broke the oath wide open and sent Miranda and Nick on an adventure that would hopefully lead to happily ever after!

So we have the last King brother, Nick the quiet genius of the family the one who keeps Cade from hurting himself. I have been wondering about Nick and Miranda and why she had this hostility for him, besides hearing that he asked Kira out but no one knew that Miranda always had a crush on him. After all is said and done it was a misunderstanding, the letter that Miranda sent him explaining her love, was thought about having come from Kira. I say good bye to my King brothers, I still love Rich and Kira story the best and for some reason I love and Cade and Iris in the other brothers story better than their own..But atlast we say our Goodbye to the pact trio and to my beloved King brothers, and still can't stand their parents... Maybe we can get some short stories letting us know what happens with the crew in the future..

'Anyone But Nick' is the last book in Penelope Bloom’s Anyone But series. Seven years ago, Miranda vowed to never date Nick. He broke her heart once, and she refuses to let him do it again. But when he moves back into town and inadvertently becomes her new boss, she’ll have to finally figure out if she hates him, or if she actually loves him. And Nick’s true intentions will be revealed.

Having not read the previous two novels in the series, I was at a slight disadvantage insofar as backstory was concerned. However, I think Bloom does a good job of contextualizing the characters in a way that makes this (mostly) work as a standalone. My advice would be to read the previous novels first.

It’s fun and flirty, but left me wanting a little bit… more. Perhaps if I had read the other two books and had more backstory/context, I would have been itching for these two to get together. I just didn’t feel like there was enough chemistry between the hero and the heroine. But I think fans of the series will not be disappointed, and the novel has a great set of epilogues that wraps up the series nicely.

I just finished Nicks book and I am so sad that this series is over. I have came to love the King brothers, Iris, Kira and Miranda. I will say that even though this was the end of the series and the King brothers Ms. Bloom ended the series with no real cliffhangers. If you have read Rick and Cades stories I would read them first.

Nick and Mirandas story is one of miscommunication when they were in highschool. Nick and his brothers were very popular and handsome in school Nick and his brothers both have a past with Miranda and her friends. Nick and Miranda have been avoiding each other for months but that all comes to a hault when Nick buys a new business and Miranda applies for the vice president job and he interviews her. They of course circle each other for a few days but Nick has had enough of not having Miranda in his life. So he plans a business retreat and puts Miranda in a cabin next to him. That's when the story really starts and the reason they have been avoiding each other for the past 7 years comes to light.

I really enjoyed this book. You have great main and supporting characters. I also really enjoyed that Nicks brothers and their significant others where in this story as well. This book moves at a good pace, has funny parts with plenty of romance.

I received an advanced copy for an honest review.

4.5 stars

Penelope Bloom consistently writes fun, funny, sexy romances that leave you smiling like a loon! I have been Waiting (not-so-patiently) for Nick and Miranda's story!

Anyone But Nick is the third book in the Anyone But... series and the last of the King brothers to get his comeuppance. ; ) And Oh, boy... did I enjoy it. I have been dying to find out why beautiful, put together, perfect Miranda had such a hate-on for Nick. What happened?!? WHY?

Ok, so, we find out... and just like the rest of those that came before... ego is involved. I'm not going to spoil anything for you.... SORRY... but it's just better that way.

All the gang is there including my fav, Cade and all his snail-loving ponderousness. = )
Murder, mystery, intrigue.... wait, nope... Fun, sexy, hilarious hijinx ensue. Cade and his crazy billionaire ways. Rich with his seriousness, Kira with her straightlaced-innocence, and Iris with her crazy tazer-loving self... So much fun! You will never think of snails or watermelon the same again!

If you haven't read the others in the series, you will probably feel a bit lost and not get a lot of the bedrock of the story. So you may want to read the others in the series or the Objects of Attraction series while you're at it. You won't be sorry.

Anyone But Nick by Penelope Bloom is the third book of the "Anyone But..." series. If you had read the first/second book in the series, Anyone But Rich, you'll know who the characters are already and the back story. Miranda and her BFFs, Kira and Iris, all vowed to never let the King brothers get in between their friendships again. Seven years ago, they sworn an oath to never date a King brother. Seven years later, the billionaire King brothers return to their small town with a new business venture.

The first book focuses on Richard King and Kira's story. The second book focuses on Cade and Iris. This one focuses on Nick and Miranda. While the series is just a huge ball of cliche and cheesy, cringe-worthy moments on paper, it is quite an entertaining read. Miranda is probably my least favorite character in this series.

My assumption is that this will be the last book of the series... since everyone is back together, as expected. Which makes this whole series a bit dragged; could've wrapped it up in one book. It reminds me of the Paper Princess series, where the series continues on with the love life of the other brothers. However, the characters in that series is much more likeable, in my opinion. However, this book is worth a read if you don't care for good writing and only looking for an easy, entertaining read.

Thank you to Netgalley, Penelope Bloom, and the publisher for providing me with an ARC, in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.

‘Anyone But Nick’was the third book and the conclusion to the series which takes us on the journey of three brothers and three best friends who were meant to be paired up with each other. The book on its own was well written and I enjoyed reading it, but it cannot be taken seriously as a standalone because as much as I loved the story, I could not fill in the gapes because I had not read the previous two books, but otherwise, it's truly amazing and I can only wish for more of Miranda and Nick!
4 stars!

Nick is quite the smart***, “I don’t think *** steam is a symptom of jealousy, but okay. I was jealous..." Miranda has to reel her man in at times, “stop,” I whispered. “There’s a lot I have to show you, and if you start talking dirty, we’re going to end up in a janitor’s closet somewhere.” I liked this book, I liked Nick.

This is book 3 in the series and its the conclusion to the series. I don't really think it stands alone very easily. The first book introduces all three couples and the vow to avoid dating the 3 brothers (Nick, Rich and Cade) vs three best friends in high school (Iris, Kira and Miranda.)

In Anything but Rich, we get Rich and Kira's story. He is a twin to Cade and brother to Nick. I really enjoyed that story and so when Anything But Cade came out, I read that one, that is Cade and Iris's story and I did not love it at all. One reason was Cade is pretty ridiculous and Iris as a police officer was kinda ridiculous as well.

Now we are on book 3 and it stars Miranda and Nick. This is the book the entire series really rests on because Miranda was hurt terribly by Nick and she made her besties swear to not date any of the brothers. The reason was she was in love with Nick but instead he asks her best friend Kira out and she makes everyone swear they wont date any of the brothers.

This book answers the question of why Nick hurt her like he did when he really was this sweet and honest guy who she thought liked her back and was a good friend. And I am not spoiling that. This book is a boss/employee romance as Nick ends up hiring Miranda. He wants her very badly but he knows he wants to make her run this company they just bought and if he dates her it will hurt her if he promotes her and so he acts badly in an effort to not hurt her and he ends up hurting her. In addition he has to fight himself to resist her.

It was actually a wonderful story and I loved it much more than either of the previous books, but to see how great this story is you have to read books 1 and 2 first. And while I did not like Cade in the 1st two books, here he was so hysterical, he cracked me up.

This is my first time reading this author and I did enjoy her writing. I just didn't like Cade and Iris as leads in book 2 but in this book I loved the two main characters. It was a wonderful ending to the series and the author answers all my questions.

Mmmmm I didn't like this one as much as the first book, I didn't like the second as much either? They're worth reading but not my favorite! It was just a little slow and kind of weird for me? Like I said the series is worth reading but not my favorite! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

I was anxiously awaiting Nick and Miranda's story. This series had been excellent and came full circle for the pact.

Miranda truly is upright and a perfectionist. Nick is gung ho to concur the corporate world. When his new acquisition brings Miranda into his life on the daily it's obvious these two can no longer suppress their feelings. When they realize the mix up 7 years ago that changed the course of their lives it's sad but amazing.

I loved this couple and the series!

This was the final book in this series, and a fitting conclusion. It was well written and well done. That being said it wasn’t my favorite of the three and I still love Cade best. Thank you to netgalley for the arc.

Bloom saved the best for last! I loved this light and funny rom com. It's a playful spin on an enemies to lovers romance featuring two former friends who crushed on each other in high school but let insecurities pull them apart. While I liked Rich's serious personality and Cade's over the top humor, it's Nick who really stole the show with this series. He's a genuinely nice, kinda nerdy guy (and isn't a manwhore!) who has harbored feelings for Miranda for too long to let anything stand in the way of her happiness. I loved their chemistry and the funny but not outlandish feel of the story. Penelope Bloom hit it out of the rom com park with this one.

The story follows Miranda, the last woman standing in her group of friends. They all made a pact to steer clear of the King brothers, but her friends have since coupled up and left Miranda as the only one stewing about the past. She was friends with Nick in high school and had a crush on him for the longest time, but a misunderstanding led him to briefly date her friend instead, ruining their relationship. Seven years have passed, and Miranda's life seemed pretty great... up until recently. She just got out of a relationship, lost her job, and now finds herself working closely with the man she most wanted to avoid. As these two spend time together, they hash out old issues while remembering all the reasons they clicked so well in the past.

If you're looking for a light and easy read with plenty of humor, this is the book for you. There's nothing groundbreaking about the storyline, but it's executed well and will hold your attention from start to finish. Bloom excels when she's writing romantic comedies, knowing when to bring on the laughs while also building up the relationship. Now that the King brothers have all met their match, I'm excited to see what's next from this author. I received an ARC via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review of this funny book.

Three and a half Stars for ‘Anyone But Nick’ (Anyone But Series, Book 3) by Penelope Bloom

Many thanks to NetGalley, Montlake Romance, and Penelope Bloom for an ARC in exchange for an honest book review of ‘Anyone But Nick’ (Anyone But Series, Book 3). My thoughts and opinions are 100% my own and independent of receiving an advance copy.

Synopsis: “The third novel in USA Today bestselling author Penelope Bloom’s Anyone But… series sizzles with a sexy and hilarious story about letting go of the past to chase the love of a lifetime.
Seven years ago, I swore I’d never date Nick King. Ever.

Now I’m supposed to work under him—and no, despite the way he glares like he wants to strip me bare, I mean he’ll be my boss. But what better way to prove I’m really over him, right?
I was a nerdy overachiever in high school, and Nick was my hopeless crush. I even laminated a note he passed to me; granted, I had a thing for laminators, but that’s beside the point.
Now, my only shot at getting my life back on track is to crawl to him on my knees and pray I nail the interview. Maybe I should pray that’s the only thing that gets nailed in his office—especially since he looks like he wants to devour me.

Nick broke my heart once. But hey, I’m still pretty handy with a laminator. Maybe I could run my heart through one before I take this job.”

The last book in the series is a bit of a slow burn compared to the other books as Nick and Miranda take some time getting to know one another again and working together before anything happens. Miranda is the perfectionist of the group. She lets everyone believe her life is perfect but that is far from the truth. The story begins with Miranda having just dumped her boyfriend and losing her job and being surrounded by her lovey-dovey friends. She ends up going in for a job interview only to have Nick buy the company before the interview even begins. Nick has always been attracted to Miranda and has never been able to figure out why they didn’t end up together. He decides to put his attraction to her aside so they can work together and she can pursue her dream of becoming CEO of a company. This promise takes some bumps as they fight their attraction to one another.

Nick and Miranda aren’t as entertaining a couple as the crazy Cade and Iris or as romantic as Kira and RIch but their slow burn is worthwhile and completes the story of the King brothers and the three women who took an oath to never date them no matter what. The epilogue is sweet as they all swear another oath and the story comes full circle. A fun, easy read that completes the Anyone But Trilogy.
